However, this is not the case at the Home Depot in Brownwood. This store is pretty much the same as most Home Depot's, as far as what they offer for sale, but what makes it different is the high quality of the people they have working there. Most days, when I walk into this store, I rarely make it more than 60ft inside before someone is asking if they can help me find something. The employees here seem to be happy, have friendly personalities and genuinely care about helping the customers. No matter where you are in the store, you will find someone nearby that is ready, willing and able to help you solve whatever home improvement issue that you may have. Whenever I need parts or products for around my home or I need something for my gardening/landscaping, I always stop by the Home Depot first.

I purchased a new refrigerator. There is a 48-hour window that if something is wrong with the…read morerefrigerator to call the store. The company delivering it reversed the doors. Basically, they damaged it when doing that. The longer it sat the more the door sagged. It was after 48 hours that we noticed it getting worse. I called 5 days after it was delivered. They refuse to correct the problem. We should have gone to Southwest appliance. We will in the future and NEVER buy another appliance from Home Depot.

This is a large hardware store with an even larger lumberyard. What I came in for was out of…read morestock so I browsed air filters. I recently got a new A/C unit and the new one was slightly different particularly with the size air filters it takes. It has always taken two filters that lean together but now the old ones no longer fit. I've searched everywhere for the right size but I haven't had any luck. Walmart filters are more expensive compared to most hardware stores which surprises me. Pare's Hardware has some of the least expensive air filters I've ever seen so I bought two in the closest size I've been looking for. I think they will work. Service here was excellent! As soon as I walked through the door I was asked if I needed help. The man helped me locate both items I came in for plus rang up my purchase for me.

We went back and spoke to a girl, and she tried to get me to apply for a Sears credit card, I told her I want to lease the machines, huge signs all over the store "No credit required" but yet I didn't qualify, Huh?
