BUT, if I went to the appointment, I could no longer be Dr Smiths patient. So, I was immediately dismissed from his care. I don't understand a Dr being upset if you find someone to perform a test he himself doesn't do. And why that that preclude me from every getting another colonoscopy with him? UPDATED: Within 3 hours of me leaving this review a VERY angry Dr Smith called me personally and said he was considering suing me for liable and a filing a cease-and-desist order for leaving a review he deemed "false." Also, for "harassing" his staff, which was just me calling them when they sent me a text that said "call us." I have adjusted the wording on my review to reflect a clearer account of the portions he had a concern with. His staff was apparently traumatized by my direct questions and the fact that I hung up on the lady when she said I could no longer be a patient. I'm sorry if an intelligent person expressing themselves in an animated, and assertive and confident way -- without ever raising their voice -- is more than some people can handle.

Waits are entirely too long. I always show up early to be polite and they always make me wait…read moreridiculous amounts of time. Everyone in the waiting room saying the same thing. This is purely poor booking practices and it's every time. Today I waited 1.5 hours AFTER my appt time to be seen. This was so the PA could walk in and say everything looked good on my endoscopy. I already knew that. I'm not going to ask why they did this, we all know it was so they could bill the insurance. My time has some value.

As a new patient I was suprized when she did not act rushed or focused on pushing the visit forward even though she was slightly late. She welcomed questions and did a good job at explaining things. She was knowledgeable but clear and down to earth in her discussions. I would highly recommend her as a family practioner.
