I've always had a great experience at this dental studio and always feel well taken care of. Especially coming from a dentist that created so many problems in my mouth. During the pandemic, I stopped going to the dentist and also moved to Long Island. It was two years since I saw someone and I also no longer had the insurance that Boerum Hill Dental took. As soon as I received insurance they took, I came right back to them. It was to my surprise they still remembered me and my family and also remembered the conversations we had. Although they are always booked up I would wait months to get the treatment they give here. You can tell they really care about your health and also have meaningful conversations with you as well as educating you about your teeth health. Every member of their team is amazing and I would continue to go to this Dental Studio for as long as I can. Other things to know: 1. The office is very clean and nice. 2. The waiting area has a few chairs but it doesn't seem like they ever overbook. Im usually always the only one in the waiting room when I arrive. 3. The receptionist is very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. 4. The dentist is amazing and also very knowledgeable and kind. 5. Parking is hard to find but there are parking garages in the area ranging from $20 to $40. 6. The train station is also just a few minutes away. 6. I have had a lifelong challenge with staying on top of my dental care -- thanks ADHD! -- so my teeth are in pretty bad shape. I have always worried about being judged or shamed for the condition of my teeth. Everyone at the office has treated me with compassion and the doctor himself is professional and kind while being direct about what needs to be done, and what to prioritize. I really appreciate that he takes his time to explain things, and answers my questions thoroughly. The office is incredibly efficient, and the front desk staff are welcoming and professional as well. I have been in for three appointments so far, and each time I was seen precisely on time. Dr, Agababayev works with such precision and care. I wish I caught the name of the hygenist who assited with my filling yesterday. The two of them worked together in perfect harmony, barely needing to speak a word to each other. I have a little bit of an odd fascination with medical treatments, so it was really cool to witness their synchronicity. All in all, a perfect experience at this clinic so far. But I'm here for a cleaning! The cleaning was relatively quick - for some reason hey buffed my teeth first. Doesn't that occur at the end, when all of the plaque is gone? My teeth were clean, though I small amounts of plaque remained upon closer look at home. Dental check seemed thorough. Would prefer if dentist performed a more comprehensive cleaning. When I got stuck at work and had to reschedule at the last minute, they were very accommodating. During my visit, my wait was maybe 5 minutes -- right on time. Emagen, and Dr…read moreUrtula in particular, received such rave reviews that I had to pick them, even though they are out of network for my insurance (they only take Delta Dental PPO and Premier Plans). and even though there was a several months wait to get in for my first appointment. The first time I walked in, I knew that I had made the right choice. The vibes were on point with my own personal aesthetic: clean, modern, minimalist and decorated with calming neutral colors, they even use the same products as I do ("Public Goods") with glass "Polished Jar" containers to hold products. The first appointment takes a couple of hours as they are very thorough, and Dr Urtula himself always gives you a lot of personal time. He takes the time to get to know his patients and really wants the best for them and their teeth. When I had a crown break a few days before I had to go to Europe for work, they got me in for an emergency appointment same day and even rushed the permanent crown so that I didn't have to travel with a temporary. Being out of network it is on the pricier side for me to go to Emagen, but it is well worth it. We only have one set of teeth!

He is a true Dentist he encourages consistent healthy tooth hygiene, he holds you accountable to taking care of his great work. I have 2 new crowns on my 2 front teeth a year ago and I get tons of compliments, they are seamless no discoloration they are a perfect match. I trust him with my smile, he is gentle and explains all of his recommendations. He always says You Must Floss, brushing is only step one, he got me back using regular floss. No More floss picks for me. He's great and he even has Saturday appointments, the office is clean and neat right across from the Brooklyn museum.

Dr. Chokshi works with me directly. He is the one doing my check-ups, cleanings, and x-rays. He is thorough, communicates well, and is completely knowledgeable in his field. He has stepped me through what is going on with my teeth and then recommends products for a better result. I will continue to use Dr Chokshi Divakar -- I recommend you do the same. He is honest, skilled, and no-nonsense. Personal attention and not a "factory conveyor belt" office feel to it at all.
