Gas! Yeah! I had forgotten how many miles it was between gas stations since I've been living in MA. I coasted from Mt Washington and was happy to see this place when I rounded the bend. Besides gas they have soups to nuts. Inside picnic tables to sit at after ordering some food. Post office boxes for getting mail and a little in between. Too cool.

May be the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Looks and tastes just how I feel the sandwich in the movie "Chef" tastes. My buddy got the Italian and raved about it. The food is amazing and the hospitality even more so. Thank you Chef Caryn! We will be back to eat the rest of the menu! If you're in the area, which a short drive from Storyland and downtown North Conway, go here for lunch and you will not be disappointed.

It's definitely a small and cozy corner shop deli. In-and-Out, order and get your orders and goodies and once the order is ready...you go and eat it. There is some wooden picnic tables outside maybe like three or four? I recommend the Cuban! I was told Cuban is the staple and it definitely is delicious and must have. The Cuban is Savory; but there this sweetness to it that make it so hard to stop eating ‍. I also had the Italian Panino, it was more rich is the spices for the meats and so many delicious sauce, cheese, to vegetables inside. I had these sandwiches at a nearby winery called Alpine Garden. Brought ISLAND CHEFS panini/sandwiches with me and enjoyed some wine with it. (I wish I took photos... it was too good I forgot to take them... my belly is forever treasuring this beautiful flavorful sandwich) Will be coming back to try more of the sandwiches!!

A true American old country store. When you walk in, there is so much to look at, many jars of different pickled items. Knick Nacks, cards and such. There is a great bakery case next to the deli case where you order your sandwich. I believe there are twelve different sandwiches. I got the number eight which was a grilled panini filled with deliciousness...chicken, pesto, baby spinach, and roasted red peppers. My boyfriend got a turkey club wrap with chipotle mayo. He loved it! I can't remember what number his was. They call your name when ready. You can grab any type of chips, beer, wine, or soda and then pay. Plenty of seating inside. Very quaint. Can't wait to go back again!

I also had the jerk chicken wrap for lunch. I was worried about getting a wrap as it was going to sit for a few hours until lunch time, but it held up perfectly. And it wasn't dry either! The chicken seasoning was very good. Will be coming back!!

Robb, was super friendly and made our experience all the more enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about the jerky they sold and recommended a few flavors for us to try. We ended up purchasing a variety of jerky, including camel, rainbow trout, and even some vegan jerky. I also got some of the gator, boar, and kangaroo jerky, which were definitely more unique and not something I would typically find in a store where we were from. The jerky was all very flavorful and made for a great snack during our trip. One thing to note is that some of the exotic meats were a bit pricey, but definitely the quality of the jerky was worth it in my opinion. Plus it's worth the experience of trying different meats I never thought I'd ever be able to try. Robb also shared some interesting information about how the jerky is made, but he joked that the process is proprietary and he couldn't give away any secrets. Next time perhaps haha! Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by North Conway House of Jerky for a unique and tasty snack.
