We even exchanged a few cordial text messages after executing our contract termination agreement. What I did ask for was transparency, professionalism, and clear communication regarding the scope of work and your observations during the inspection process. Instead of asking clarifying questions like a straight shooter would, you jumped to conclusions about my intentions to "sue" another contractor. I'm a fair and professional person, and I have no issue with a contractor deciding they are no longer interested in a project. That happens. But the professional thing to do is communicate that clearly and directly -- not disappear, ignore calls and messages, and leave a prospective client completely in the dark after promising a proposal the same evening. My review was based entirely on my actual experience: you inspected the site, committed to sending a proposal, and then went completely silent with no follow-up whatsoever. Spent 3 days scraping, sanding and patching to prepare for painting as well as moving all items out of the way before painting. They masked off quite a bit of area to ensure that there would not be any overspray. This attention to preparation continued as they did the stucco, trim/facia/eaves, siding and doors. They also help trim back some of the vegetation from wrought iron fence that they painted. Very happy with the process and results. My wife is making plans to have them back to do some work on the inside of our house.
