Quaint market with great things! I bought several items, the fresh hot pizza was the highlight, extremely good!!!

Excellent location and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend. Good assortment of fresh and frozen products.

1st time customer and found this place to be really Nice. Great selection of so many things you can't find at Kroger, Giant Eagle and other stores. Selection of meat is incredible and all look delicious. We bought some steaks but also found Black Raspberry Jam (Smuckers quit making it) and great selection of Salsa and other condiments. It was clean, friendly staff and helpful. I give it 5 stars read more

I've ordered pulled brisket a few times from here, (amongst multiple other items I get from here) recently ordered 10 pounds of smoked brisket... Pataskala Meats NEVER disappoints!!!! So good guys! Please don't change anything! read more

Family owned. Smoked Brisket and Pulled Pork has tons of flavor and worth every penny. Great selection of meat locally sourced.

Awesome full service butcher ! I was referred to them by another customer . Called and asked about one of my favorite grilling meats - a porterhouse pork chop . Often hard to find in regular stores - you usually only find pork chops . Once I had a porterhouse chop several years ago it's the only "chop" I buy and grill . They told me they were slicing on Friday so I ordered 8-2" porterhouse chops . Picked them up today and they look amazing ! I also bought 2 frozen hanger steaks . Can't wait to grill up these babies ! First time here but I'm a permanent customer now ! read more

I stopped in because of the reviews. I was immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of blood and decaying meat. I was turned off by this. I've been to other places that process meat on site to sell and haven't been hit with it. Maybe it is my city boy showing? I don't know why I reacted the way I did. I managed to walk the aisles of bulk food and picked out some jams since they were sealed. There was a line of people buying steaks for the holidays, so I'm sure the meat was good. I'll try again another day. read more

Great service and delicious! I went in to check it out and to get a few things for a cookout. Found a treasure chest of goodness! They have hot beef brisket, pulled pork and ribs. Hot and ready for you to take home for dinner. Today they also had smoked meatloaf. I'll have to come back and try that! The 80/20 ground beef patty and jumbo hotdogs were perfect for the grill! read more

Awesome place to grab some meat, cheese & some other goodies. I have been wanting to stop by here for a couple months now and I finally made time to do so this weekend. There is a variety of local and Amish foods to choose from from Mac n cheese to beef jerky to steak to candy! As far as the meats go, I got steak filets and they were delicious (tastes like it came from a top notch steak house) as well as the reaper jerky, which was also delicious. So many cheeses to choose from as well. I definitely want to try the brisket as well. The price tag isn't cheap but it is worth it. read more

High quality meats and amazing seasonings. I spend too much every time because their selections are incredible.

I highly recommend Pataskala Meats if you are looking to purchase locally grown meat and Amish goodies. They have a huge variety of meat - beef, lamb, pork and chicken in all the different cuts and sizes. We purchased strip steaks and a leg of lamb for Thanksgiving and both were excellent. The butchers are super friendly and patient which made purchasing less overwhelming. In addition to meats, they have a huge assortment of Amish made goods like cheeses, jellies and canned goods. I like that they carry local items as it can be hard to find them in regular grocery stores. They have ample parking so it can be a quick in and out shopping trip. read more

Stopped in today to pick up my meat box. Everything looks incredible! The ladies that were working were so friendly. I love this place. Everything was just as I asked, my substitutions were honored. Great quality meats, NO chemical crap injected in them! Nice little store with a pretty decent selection of items from small biz. Nice alternative to buying all of the processed crap in a grocery store. Employees were helpful and friendly, too! read more

Not much of a selection of fresh meat. I got there late on Saturday, so I don't know if there was more earlier. The sirloin I bought was average. Perhaps I will give them another try. Schumann's meat market is a better place. read more

I bought liver there. I was surprised to see it bagged and frozen. But, I bought it anyway. I thawed it out in the refrigerator like the clerk suggested I do. I made liver and onions with it. It was delicious!!! I'll definitely make another stop in there.. read more

We love supporting local businesses. These folks are usually on top of their game. The pricing is a little higher than the regular grocery stores, but the quality at Pataskala Meats is 2nd to none. read more

I stopped in to purchase some steaks per a friends request. While there, they were sampling meads by Moonlight Meadery. I had the pleasure of sampling a barrel aged apple pie mead that was the BEST I have ever had. I highly recommend Kurt's Apple Pie! The steaks and apple pie mead were both outstanding. Great place with amazing meat selection and an awesome mead selection. Hats off to Pataskala Meats and Moonlight Meadery. read more

We have been spoiled by having Pataskala meats so close by. We can't even eat meat from the supermarket anymore. The owner is involved in the community, employees are wonderful and the meat is just perfect. read more

This place has the best fresh cut meat AND also a food truck outside that serves delicious food like smoked BBQ pulled pork, smoked beef brisket, fried bologna and specials like a ribeye steak sandwich. Don't pay out the rear end for dried up brisket at Barrel & Boar (like I did last night) when you can get this incredible pile on the softest brioche bun! Gil (butcher counter) and Ty (food truck ops) were super friendly, too, and explained how and when the meats are processed. Definitely check this place out. They also have fry pies of all sorts! Can't go wrong here. read more

Wow!! My wife called them to order beef short ribs. Meat on the bone is short rib, meat between is back ribs. They were busy and she didn't take the time to look at them. She gets home and opened the bag to find this great long section of short rib AND back rib. Does the butcher not know the difference? I took them back as I haven't a food saw to separate the back ribs from the short ribs. I got nothing but grief from the butcher. Hire a butcher that knows the cuts of meat. read more

I just moved to the Columbus area and have been very disappointed with my grocery store choices (If you've ever been to HEB you know why). It has been great having all the farmers markets for great produce at good prices, but I really wanted a local meat cutter. I was on my way back from Lynd Farm and decided to stop in here. If you love grilling, this store has everything you need. When they heard it was our first time in, they gave us a tour and a lot of great info about their shop. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Their prices are great for what you are getting. If anything, they are just pennies higher than Kroger or Giant Eagle, but you know where your meat is coming from. They have some great bundles as well. $90 and I'm set with meat for close to a month. I'll definitely be stopping in on a regular basis. read more

Wow, this place is amazing. They do their own in house jerky, and meats cut to order. The butcher knows what he is doing as all the steaks we have had from have been amazing. I just called in a order 20 mins before they were closing and the got it in just in time. Thank you Pataskala meat market. read more

Locally grown meat in a clean and humane environment. We will be getting all of our meat here.

Buying gift certificates for everyone we know from Pataskala Meats this holiday season....we really want them to be successful! We drive over a half hour on a weekly basis to buy their pork chops, Italian sausage and steaks. Beats Blythestone in product and price every time. You can ask them to cut custom cuts to the thickness you need for smoking and grilling. Call ahead and give them your order if its a large one or you don't want to wait. Super friendly staff. We love everything about Pataskala Meats! read more
