I stoped in this wonderful little restaurant on a Sunday for a late lunch. I was pleasantly surprised and I am glad I did. The food was spectacular and fresh. I ordered the Mezze. It is a sampler of three dips (Hummus, Labneh & Babaganush), served with pita bread and tabouleh. The tabouleh is some of the best I have ever eaten and I have travel all over the Mediterranean and Middle-east.
I also had the chicken shawarma. It was a delightfully light pita filled with marinated chicken breast, yogurt and spices and grilled onions and green peppers. Since the rest of the food was so good, I decided to try the baklava. It did not disappoint. It was very traditionally made with a pinch of panache. I washed it all downs with a wonderful Belgium Straffe Hendrik import. The service was awesome. The owner Mijael is very friendly and was able to help with my selections. The restaurant itself is very clean and has open air doors and windows to add to the ambiance.
You should definitely stop in and give it a try! read more
