    Pastries!
    Nandanie S.

Opened in Quincy about less than a year ago, this bakery features beautifully crafted French pastries...croissants, mille feuille, cookies, and my favorite, pain aux raisins. I popped in before headed to work so I could snag a box of these pastries for my team. So glad i did!! Amazing customer service, nice open dining area, and it's a bakery that I will for sure return to when I'm in town.

During the late summer, I tried a bunch of pastries from this bakery. I got an almond croissant, slice of mango mousse cake, and a minced beef wrap. The almond croissant was average. It was soft but not very crispy and flaky. The mango mousse cake was way too sour for my taste. My favorite thing was the minced beef wrap. Although it was cold, it tasted delicious.

I could give this place 4 stars since there's no other place nearby that's like it but 3 stars since I don't think the "European"pastries that they sell are made in-house. There are other sweets sold that are more Indian/Asian like samosas, etc but they are too pricey!

Since arriving in Quincy, Pastry Land has become my go-to for those times when I want to sit and scroll through my phone while drinking a cup of hot tea and enjoying some of the most decadent, scrumptious homemade Moroccan dessert's I've ever had! Although I recommend the pistachio cake for its flavor and out-of-this-world texture, there is always an assortment of light lunch fare and pastries to choose from. The owners are extremely nice and the seating area is welcoming and quiet. Popping into Pastry Land has quickly become synonymous with "me time"!

Pastryland is on Hancock Street, just past Dunford Drive. Park on Hancock street.

There should be more staff at this establishment. Both times I've been, the same two women have been manning the till and the grill. They are both exceedingly nice, but would benefit from some support. This time the omelet had mozzarella cheese, a huge improvement over processed American. This time I did try a croissant: chocolate, but I wish there had been more chocolate.

    Turkey avocado sandwich

Nice bakery. Ordered a turkey sandwich ( I thought they had given me ham by the looks of it but they said it was smoked turkey). The bread was a seeded baguette and very fresh. At first when I ordered the sandwich they took me over to look at prepared savory pastries, so I had to clarify that I wanted a sandwich. I ate in. The only downside was it was a warm day and they had the doors open and no air conditioning, so it was a tad uncomfortable. I'll stop by to try more things.

    Absolutely perfect!

Great pastries at Pastry Land. Really impressed! I wide variety of European and Mediterranean style sweets. Coffee looked exquisite too; going to try that next time. Lots of folks sitting and sipping espresso. Lots of seating, in and out, and very clean, bright look. Also terrific service. Thumbs up all around. I will be back!

Great vibes, good service, and the shawarma sandwich is DELICIOUS. I love having a nice quiet cafe with WiFi to work in. Definitely coming back

I had to tear into my pastry before I took a pic! Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and upbeat. The other customers all seemed to be enjoying their experience as well. They have high chairs which was great for my toddler and it appeared very clean. Can't wait to go back!

    Chicken samosa (wow!!)

AMAZING!!! What an incredible pastry selection. But it doesn't stop there! They also have INSANE samosas, sandwiches (breakfast and savory) and coffee. Perfect for a relaxing brunch or stop on the way to work for snacks. My mouth is watering!

It feels very lively and welcoming with the bright window lighting and upbeat music. The staff here are sooo kind and also really efficient!! Which makes the experience even better. The drinks usually don't disappoint... I've tried quite a few and they're always been yummy. Today I ordered the Peach Green Tea with Milk Foam, but I wouldn't recommend it since it tasted a bit sour. All my friends' drinks tasted amazing. My personal favorite is the Tbaar Green Milk Tea because it's floral and creamy. If you like drinks that are more on the milky side rather than super strong tea, Tbaar is definitely for you. I'd recommend it as a good hangout spot and enjoy boba with friends!

My memory of having Tbaar in the past is fuzzy, though I don't remember enjoying it very much back then. They have so many drinks on their menu, I honestly couldn't figure out what I wanted haha. Thankfully, one of the workers helped me out by giving me recs & I was then able to decide on two smoothies to try! I ordered a mango strawberry banana smoothie & mango orange smoothie. Thoughts: Both drinks had an artificial taste. The mango orange smoothie came with mango chunks that reminded me of the canned dole pineapple chunks, same idea. Eh. Still drinkable though but not something I would come back again for. I did enjoy the strawberry mango banana smoothie much more than the mango orange smoothie. Originally wanted to give Tbaar 3 stars, however, the worker that helped me was very nice & saw some other reviews saying to try their teas so maybe I will give that a try next time.
