Most were fried but a few were baked as well. The outside of the fried empanadas were crispy while the insides were stuffed to the brim with yummy goodness. I would suggest, that if you order the fried ones to eat as soon as possible, since they might get soggy if sat for too long. The baked empanadas were great as well - once again overflowing with stuffings! They definitely did not skimp. All in all, I'm so delighted this restaurant has joined the Cypress community. Again, the chimichurri is the star and makes the meats much better. It came with 2 sides so we chose asparagus and fries tossed in garlic+parsley.
