We wandered over to this spot as an easy walk from our hotel without a reservation and were lucky to snag table. The back patio is gorgeous and the ambience is incredible. Cozy, green, bright, inviting. Foodwise we did a shared cheese plate, my husband had the osso bucco, and I had the eggplant gnocchi. The cheese plate was SO GOOD. Like each bite was delicious and we literally fought over the last few cheeses left on the plate. My husband demolished his osso bucco and I adored the eggplant gnocchi. So so so tasty and I would absolutely get it again. Service was friendly and drinks were delicious; the desserts definitely did not pale in comparison either. I had the chocolate cake which was delectable. I would put this on your "must try, must eat at" list and definitely swing by if you are in Milan. This will be our go to, never skip spot from here on out and we are absolutely planning on grabbing a reservation next time to make sure we can dine here.

While my husband then had ice cream with berries, they gave me a plate of assorted cookies with my coffee. What an experience!

The meats included prosciutto, speck, and a couple salamis. The cheeses were soft but not sharp or moldy. Overall, it was a pleasant and mild board. Next, we had the Milanese risotto with saffron. I prefer the rice to be a little softer; nevertheless, the flavors were delicious. Our main course was steak over arugula and parmigiana cheese. It was a small portion but good. I would have prefer the steak to be cooked a little rarer with more sear. For dessert, we had these chocolate pieces. It has the same granulated yet solidified texture as halva. It was excellent.

We arrived a bit early and sat in the bar for apertivos which included some stuff olives. Bar area is quite small, but a good place to hang out while waiting for the rest of our party. It was much like having a fancy dinner in a greenhouse with all of the hanging plants and greenery. It felt quite cozy. Frankly, to be honest, since we had a large group of 10, they recommended appetizers for the table, and I have no idea what some of them were. What I do know, is they were tasty as hell. For my main course I ordered a pasta and artichoke dish that was amazing. I opted out of dessert simply due to being stuffed. I did not have a lot of interaction directly with the wait staff other than ordering my entree'. They were however, quick and efficient with the appetizers, wine, etc. Would definitely go here again.

A basket of breads and a bowl of olives were served to us by our waiter, Fabio. I asked his recommendation for a nice red wine that was smooth. He chose a delicious wine, perfect for the main dish beef I planned to order. My husband ordered a wonderful fizzy water that we hope we can find at home. I am celiac, so no bread for me. However, my husband said the pillowy focaccia was his favorite out of the selections in the basket. Let me tell you about the olives: they were the best green olives I have ever had, popping with garlic flavor, and their texture was perfect. They tasted home-made to me! We started the meal with a selection of cheeses which came with a pot of honey and a pot of a caramelized red onion-reduced in red wine and sweetened with a little sugar. The onion condiment was divine. It was best when topped on the truffle cheese. Main courses arrived later. My steak fillet was the softest beef I have ever eaten. In fact, it was truly the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection! My husband ordered the sea bass and grilled veggies. We split the veggies. For dessert my husband selected a flan-like dessert that was smooth and silky while I chose a green apple sorbet that had a French Norman brandy (Calvados) on top. This was a sensational pop of flavors. Ending the meal with coffee, we promised ourselves to return on our next trip to Milano. Thank Fabio for excellent service and for making our last dinner in Milan a meal to remember!
