Came in for a quick lunch on a Thursday and was very happy with the service and food quality. We built our own pasta bowl for around $11. It comes with your choice of pasta and sauce with 3 toppings. The noodles were cooked well and the sauce had a lot of flavor. We had double mushroom and mozzarella for our toppings, but there are meat options if you want to add some protein to your bowl. It was cooked right in front of us on a pan and it was ready in about 5 minutes. This is a great place to dine in if you're on a time crunch because the food comes out so fast. The environment is clean and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend trying this spot.

I've been here several times and the food and service have been consistently great. The staff is always friendly, and the food comes out hot and fresh. I usually arrive right when they open to avoid the lunch crowds, which makes for a quick and relaxed experience. It's a small restaurant, but they've managed to fit quite a bit of seating inside, so it's usually easy to find a place to sit. One thing I really like is being able to customize your dish exactly how you want it. A small is $10.50 and includes your choice of sauce and two add-ins. The large is definitely the better value--only a dollar more and you get three add-ins. Meats are available for an additional charge. Each entrée also comes with three house-made bread rolls, which are always served hot and fresh and make a nice addition to the meal. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're looking for a quick, customizable meal with consistently good service.

I didn't realize how busy this place gets during the lunch rush. It's like the subway of pasta/Italian food. You choose your pasta, sauce, and they make it right in front of you! We also shared some garlic knots and a calzone. The calzone took the longest and was huge! They have so many toppings, gluten-free options, and pizza as well. A great spot for pastas if you want something quick and easy.

Really great pasta for a great price! This is a build your own pasta place where you choose everything and anything you want. You get to pick your toppings based on the size you get. They also give you a big portion of food and I would say it was worth the price. The pasta is made in front of you and everything tastes really good. They also give you garlic bread with the pasta! The service was great and they were really fast in making the food. The inside has a lot of seating which is perfect if you want to bring a bigger group. I will definitely be coming back!

Very friendly people! I had the spinach fettuccine with chicken and alfredo sauce and it was very well balanced and not too salty! The inside is very clean and well taken care of. I'm glad I discovered this place, it has some of the best pastas

My coworkers are obsessed with this place so we order it quite a bit for our lunches. I'm honestly not super impressed with this place. The following is what I have tried from here thus far: - Super Spinach Salad with Grilled Chicken (no dressing): decent overall, but it was just too wet from the artichokes. Chicken was cooked well but not seasoned - Veggie Calzone: best thing I've had from here by far! I used Costco's pesto sauce to dip it in because the marinara from here is horrible. It was soo much better with the pesto. It would've been perfect if they actually cooked the calzone to a nice crispy crust instead of what they gave me. Thankfully, I had it as leftovers and could stick it in my oven at home. - Shrimp Gnocchi (sub pesto for marinara): unfortunately, they did not sub for the pesto and I'm not a fan of their marinara at all. It's watery and flavorless. There were 3-4 pieces of shrimp only. The gnocchi itself was unimpressive and the veggies they had in there added absolutely nothing to the dish. They should focus on correctly making the orders since multiple dishes have come messed up. A lot of my coworkers have dietary issues and can't eat it if it arrives messed up.

Made to order is what sets this amazing Pastalini apart from others. It might also be their down fall during their busy lunch times. Seating is minimal but many people order to go. Ambiance inside and long and narrow. Tight spaces. Service is excellent and welcoming. You choose your pasta and they heat it up for you in a pan in front of you! The menu also has a calzone that looked amazing! I'll try that next time.

I was craving pasta and found this spot on yelp. It is honestly really hard to find any decent pasta/pizza places in socal and this is THE BEST spot for just that! The build your own pasta menu was so overwhelming (in a good way) so i decided to go with the chef's selection. My boyfriend got a calzone and we both had our jaws drop when the employee told us the regular calzone is the size of the photo on the menu. For the price point it seemed waaay too good to be true! Upon our first bites it was probably the best pasta and calzone we had for a quick pick up spot. Overall, WILL BE COMING BACK!:)

I love all of the options here, so many toppings and I was having trouble choosing between some of the sauces and the person putting together my pasta recommended combining the pesto and sun dried tomato sauce. The portions are large enough to have a snack for later and the prices are good. I came back again for the gnocchi and that was amazing as well.

What is the noise level in the restaurant? I would like to be able to speak normally (and not have to shout) to others in my dinner party.

It's fine. I am sensitive about this too.

I noticed that they have gluten free options for pasta, which is fantastic. How educated/trained is the staff on preventing gluten from coming in contact with gluten free dishes?

The staff seems pretty knowledgeable about preventing contamination. When they get a gluten free order they take extra steps to make sure no gluten comes in contact with the order. They ask lots of questions to make sure you get exactly what you… Read more

I was really impressed that u had a place to set my feet on because I'm very short and normally have a hard time with regular bar seats. There are a lot of cute touches like that. Hooks to hold your purse, etc. I was loving the soulful music which I thought was from a playlist so I used Shazam in order to capture the song. However, the music started to sound live so I walked around...only to find it was coming from a very talented woman named Marianne across the bar. Service was friendly, but we both noticed other tables were a bit ignored or slow to be served. We ordered a few margaritas. Cesar salad with chicken and the lobster arrabbiata with table-side Parmesan. The food was great. I'm not a big focaccia lover but there's was the best I've ever had. It was warm, light, airy, fluffy, and came with this amazing butter AND olive oil, balsamic rosemary. We used the bread to dip into the leftover pasta sauce. We ordered margaritas. I would definitely recommend the blood orange drink they have on the menu. Shout out to Morgan, who was an amazing server and Marianne whose live music changed my whole mood.
