I've walked past this unassuming restaurant many times, and today I decided to try it out. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew the food was going to be good. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely exquisite. There are fresh flowers placed on each table and dim lighting that looks even better at night. There are a few tables available outside but I would recommend sitting inside since it tends to be a not so quiet road.
I ordered the panzerotti scampi and a martini bellini, which both came out very quickly. My drink came with a small platter of olives, and the pasta came with a bread basket. Solid portion size, unlike some restaurants that only give four raviolis... very decent shrimp--they were large in size and perfectly chewy. I enjoyed the pasta, although the tomato based sauce could have been a tad less salty. I liked how the pasta dish included a handful of arugula and a couple pieces of broccoli.
Service was 11/10. I was immediately seated when I walked in, and my waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. Would love to come back when I'm in the mood for pasta and cocktails. Great little corner. read more
