This place has beautiful blended coffee . Pick the flavour of milk, the size and the strength and the owner is most happy to oblige. There are cakes and biscuits but the best thing is the range of ice creams. I could just sit here all day trying the different varieties. I don't think my waist or blood sugar levels would be happy. Although it was crowded and busy, they handled things fairly well. We received our drinks quite quickly, and they were very apologetic that the food was talking longer. We were kept well updated though. They were also kind enough to bring us little chocolates and hand made truffles while we lined up. My mocha was perfect and the ham and cheese croissant was excellent comfort food after a long morning on my feet. It's good to see everything back to normal, with the only reminder of that day being two brass plaques on the inside of the doorway remembering the two poor souls we lost.

It reminds me of Brug bakery back home, and I love their stuff as they have on top of their different varieties of breads they have a nice combination of sweet and savory pastries. We grabbed a plate (yes it is self serve) and carefully chose one each as we were going to eat dinner soon and didn't want to be overly stuffed. Can you guess what we got? Everything we got was soft, fluffy, buttery, and oh so creamy, and even crispy. Ok I lied, we got more than one each but it was for after dinner as a snack. You know those late night cravings. And yes it still tasted good at midnight. They also have a nice variety of drinks too.

I had a flat white ($3.50) bacon and egg panini ($10) and Tella Ball Shake ($10) at 930am...why? I don't know why, but why not? I consumed my calories for the day in one meal but I have no regrets. The panini was alright, had a little too much bread action going...the same can be somewhat said for the shake. The shake itself was great, the tella ball was just OK...didn't taste much like a doughnut and the nutella/bread ratio was off, unless you were eating straight from the middle. When we left around 1pm the crowd was bigger. They do take away though, so if you don't mind sitting around the corner you can get things faster. I also got a pulled pork panini, it was pretty nice. The coffee was also good. Service was friendly, although confused. We got offered multiple dishes that weren't ours and it was sometimes hard to flag someone down.
