Fri 8/8/25 wanted a haircut. Had to wait for worker to come in around 10am, they come in whenever they want I guess. Waited in the chair for a while. She finally comes in, I said I wanted chin-length haircut. She did a good job I think. No washing because that's extra, just some spray of water on my hair. She did use blow dryer to straighten or curl my hair, not sure. Haircut was $30 and gave some tip, charged it. read more

Brought my dad here for an overdue haircut. They accept walk in's but I called 5 minutes before we showed up and they were able to begin right away. $15 for hair and $15 for beard. $30 all together to shave an older man's head/face is not a bad deal. The lady was so nice to my father. She made great conversation with him plus gave good tips and hair advice. I really liked the way the lady treats her customers. Beware of add-on pricing. Blowout was to be $15...bill was $40. They added on hairspray $10, flat iron $20, etc. without asking me and without telling me it cost extra! I went for highlights. Was to be $150. They added on low lights $80, keratin $30?, and hairspray $10...all without asking me! Final bill was $320!! Be very clear if they do something if it costs extra. Even AFTER I say, blowout ONLY!, no flat iron, no hairspray, no serum...somehow they always add on something else that costs money. I've been going here for 10 years...why? because it's close to my house and they do nails, hair, and waxing. Otherwise, if I have more time, I go to Sasam Salon across the street (Joe at Sasam doesn't burn my scalp nor tug my hair). And last time I went, they flat ironed my hair, which I DIDN'T ask for and they burned my forehead for a treatment I DIDN'T want! Depending on who you get, your hair will be pulled, your ears burned. They don't sanitize their brushes. I forgave all this due to their cheap prices but with all the non-approved extras, it's not saving me any money. Very very unhappy when they (Anna, to be exact) charged me twice as much than other customer! She colored my 3" long hair with some gray. When it was done, it was bi-color. The gray area turned into red and the dark color area get darker. She knew it herself that the result was bad and offered me to do correction. I accepted the offer and the end result was ok. I was happy at first thinking they care about their customer and the end result, until she charged me. She charged me double! I also saw the other customer with much much longer hair paid half of what I had to pay. I asked her why she is charging me double and she said that's how much I paid before. I know exactly how much I paid before. When I get home, I confirmed with my friendhow much she had to pay for her hair (which is 3 times longer), she paid only half of what I had to pay today. So, whoever is reading this review, always confirm the price before you go in. I am never, ever going back there again. Be ware of the lady name Anna. She is very tricky. read more

This salon has been in my former neighborhood for over 18 years and I swear Jessie & her wonderful team has been cutting my hair and family's hair since I was in middle school. She literally knows my mom, dad and brother and this salon is my one-stop-shop for hair cuts, root touch ups, hair color and even nails. I don't have time often either my busy life to go to a separate nail salon as most of the ladies are super efficient in getting me into a chair and starting on my hair and nails at the same time. There's a lot of custom choices or decisions to make with it comes to beauty so as long as you communicate clearly with what you want, you'll be fine. I know there's often a language barrier both ways much of my cultural community also struggles with communicating direct and through the process of what they want done at each step. This time around I didn't trust myself in cutting my own hair during the pandemic so it was almost a whole year since I got my hair done and the ladies at Passion salon literally brought my hair back to life. I got a full dye job as I had way too many grays in the back of my head I was looking like a grandma and that won't work for me in my career. I got a shampoo, fresh cut and blow out, it was all worth it. And in the past I've been to my friends or family salons with then I can say for the level of service and price the value is on point. I've definitely spent more than the average at other places and it's about the same. The ladies are kind of like my mom, she doesn't hesitate to tell me my eyebrows look like trash or I need to fix my hair, so they're always looking out for you to look at your best. I do agree a lot of salons especially high volume struggle with cleanliness as even if a customer noticed one little spot or a baseboard that's dirty they will think the whole place is like that. I would love for businesses even beyond salons to get periodic deep cleaning especially for base boards or floorings, and even during COVID as there is huge need to keep things clean and replace the makeshift sneeze guards to something professional. Overall they have spruced up over the years, although the 90 hairstyles are there as a reminder of their legacy, they've been around and I hope will still stick around - Passion Salon Forever!!! read more

If there was less than one star I would give it to them. The manager Jessie is very rude and have NO sense of customer service. She has a short fuse. I have had appointments in the past and had to wait in many occasions. In one occasion i had an appointment on Saturday with one of their staffs which was a no show. I reached out and they said there was a confusion, but I gave them a benefit of the doubt without being upset about the situation. One time I was late for an appointment myself and could not inform them in a timely fashion because my phone had died and had to be charged. I called her later after chagrining my phone WITHIN 10 mins and she went ballistic without trying to listen to my explanation. I had to fire back and her and remind her about the past appointments when they were late and a no show. After that she advised me to call the person who I had my appointment with. By that time I was done with her and I even made sure my wife stopped going there as well. We had been their clients for many years. You never treat your long standing clients like that. There are so many saloons out their with better pricing and more importantly way better customer service. In fact it was a blessing in disguise as I found a much better place. I would NOT recommend ANYONE AT ALL to this place, NONE what's so ever. read more

Old review - I walked in for the first time this week for root touch up and hair cut. $35 for root and $20 for A-line bob. Sure! I'll try it. I had michelle and she was very professional. My roots were nicely color matched and she added plenty of layers for my cut, which I asked for. The salon seems busy all the time and I feel there were many regulars. Got an appointment right away w Carly. Looking for new nail person as mine retired after 40 years. On referral went here. Another of negative reviews but I trust my friends referral. Salon not luxurious. But cozy. I didn't sense any negative vibes, and asked for a basic pedicure. Carly was attentive to my cuticles and my preference of how I wanted my nails cut. I was very pleased and may have an upgraded pedi next time. I watched two men, one young adult and an older gentleman get hair cuts. Ladies were very thorough and these guys looked great ( one hadn't had a cut since before COVID). Hair mopped up right away. Noticed foot baths were very clean and inserts were used. Good experience. The worst service ever. Don't go to them for a hair cut. You will be really surprised how you will end up looking. In fact in my case I wanted them to slightly trim and also gave them little detail and the lady ended doing the opposite. The best part is that they will ask you how you would like it done, but end up doing what they like. The management needs to recognize people coming there should feel and look good. This isn't the first time me or my family having had this level of bad experience. The only reason we even went to this place was that they were close to where we live. The customer service here is so fake! I have been a regular here for a very long time; from haircuts to waxing, to mani/pedis. They always seem to have something bad to say about the customers; they are VERY judgmental and rude. We come in knowing what we want done, but they ALWAYS try to force us to getting something else done, when we say no, they make us feel bad, or never stop bugging you to do it; on top of that they keep talking about you in their own language! A friend had recommended this salon, so I decided to call in and see when Jesse was available. Luckily, she was able to see me within the next hour. She had me seated as soon as I arrived. Jesse really paid attention to what I wanted and gave me her input. She made sure I liked the length and angle of my bangs too. She also made extra touch ups once my hair was blow dried. I was very happy with my haircut. This is not a fancy salon, but they listen to what you ask for. I'm used to paying a lot more for haircuts and trims so you can't beat $10 for a haircut! I came here because I had a coupon and wanted to try a new place. Bad idea, you get what you pay for applys here. First off the place is a mess crap and people everywhere. The massage chairs were broken and then they tried to apply an insert massage pad on the chair that was stabbing my back. They also have haircutsand waxing, so screaming kids in front of me no fun! They were slow and just not professional at all. After about an hour and a half of torture I ended up paying only about 10 dollars less. So not worth the mess and noise. I don't get my nails done super often, it's a bit of a splurge for me. However, I absolutely know the difference between good and bad service, and it couldn't have been better for me!! The lady that did my nails was Julie, and she was awesome! She did nick my cuticles once, but it was because she was getting her hair colored at the same time as doing my nails, and I thought that was pretty awesome of her. She was already getting it colored when I came in, but she jumped up as soon as I said I needed my nails done. It was reasonably busy at the time, but she took the time to do a fantastic job on my nails! I was getting a fill, I'd previously been to Sparkle Nails (which is in the same parking lot) kind of by accident, and we were treated EXTREMELY poorly there. Anyway, Julie took great care of me, and was REALLY friendly. Kept a conversation going nearly the whole time and apologized (sincerely!) when she nicked me and was careful thereafter. read more

So after getting a coupon in the mail, we figured we'd try this spot out & when I say we, I mean 2 adults & 2 girls. Lets start off with saying that we called in advance to let them know we were coming in for 4 pedicures around 630... we pull into the lot & start to walk through the door & see 2 pedi chairs squished in the corner a foot away from someone having their hair cut, which didnt look so sanitary as the lady tossed hair to the side of her, which falls between the 2 pedi chairs... as much as us we wanted to run (which I should have) they already had their hooks in the kids & sat them down for their pedis. Their took about 15 mins on both the girls, rushing them to try to fit us in too... we opted NOT to stay after watching how they handled the girls. My daughter sat at the edge of the massage chair with no kind of back support the whole time, which I'm sure wasnt the most comfortable situation. All in all, we paid $20 per girl for the pedi, polish & design, then got the heck outta there. If you're looking for customer service, this place isnt really for you with them pushing you to do "extra" services. If you're looking for a quick & cheap mani/pedi or cut in a place that isnt the cleanest or friendliest, look for the flyer in the mail & stop by. read more

I happened to be mailing a letter at the mailbox in front of this place. The lady who wks tgere was standing halfway in and halfway out if the door of the salon. She was looking for customers. My friend who was w me said he gets his haircut here before. I asked her r u open to cut hair? The lady said yeah if u want a haircut u need to come rt now. I asked how much is it. She said it went up to $20. I said why does it say mens haircut $15 in the window. She got annoyed bc she got caught trying to quote me a higher price. She said if wanted a cut then come or leave.
