Hello I went to passion eats on a Saturday to grab a bite ,let me tell you the food was awesome I ordered chicken Alfredo (to die for) and beef short ribs with Mac and cheese, greens and a cornbread muffin,it was delicious and when I tell you I went back the next day with a couple of my family members, and we were All raving about how good everything was ,,,,but here's the best part when you order anything on the menu that's fried there's a maybe 10 to 15 minute wait ,and I love that because that means HOT AND FRESH,now you gotta go try it for yourselves you definitely won't be disappointed. read more

TODAY I ordered fried turkey chops and two sides. I had to wait 20 minutes for my order to be filled. I would have ordered something else. If I knew it was gonna take that long. Secondly, the chops were very hard and salty. Wouldn't recommend the turkey chops to anyone. read more

My Mom, daughter and myself dined in today. My daughter loves mac and cheese. So we decided to try this establishment. The young lady took our order. She was very friendly and professional. My mom had the catfish dinner. I had the pork chop dinner. My daughter only wanted mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back again. read more

I took my family of five here on a Sunday afternoon. The service was incredibly inefficient as it took as about 40-50 minutes just to order our meal. The fried chicken was under cooked and the catfish was very average, as were the yams. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal as were the green beans. The dressing and red beans/rice were average. If I had been left with undercooked chicken, underwhelming catfish, and decent sides, when combined with the extremely long wait to order (in addition to the 30 minutes waiting for the food) then the review would have been a 2. However, when we were sitting a family was allowed to blast mucin through a speaker, which for me took the review down to one star. I won't be going back, but I do hope they improve on a few things because I really do like to support black owned business. read more

Let me be the first to say Passion Eats is ! This is soul food that reminds you everyday is the day of Thanksgiving!! The customer service is top tier from the owner to the servers to the cashier! I would say which dish was my favorite but I can't because everything was delicious! It's buffet style but fried meat is made fresh which is also a plus! Trust my family and I will be back!! read more

Went there to eat last week, the owner was cold and rude. And she was dismissive to one of her staff. Her employee asked if she needed some help, she told her, I Own This Place, I Don't Need Your Help...I asked about a Side that most Southern Restaurants Have, I have never heard of it, just because U haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I would not recommend this Establishment to anyone. Piss Pout Customer Service By The OWNER. SHE NEEDS TO BE TRAINED In Customer Service. I understand why she received 3 Stars, they were being GENEROUS. read more

Call me Old School, but I grew up when your word was your bond, and there was this thing called "truth in advertising". If your establishment claims to offer on its menu a certain dish or side on a specific day of the week, it should be available. I came out in the rain with my appetite ready for a catfish fillet meal with a side of spaghetti. Lo and behold, no spaghetti. Tough. I realize this is a thing prevalent particularly among many so-called Black owned or operated businesses unfortunately, but not exclusively, having been left hanging many times on a milkshake run to McDonald's. But I went on and paid my funky $22 for a meal listed on the menu card as $17 - (we live in inflationary times, right? The program is always subject to change without notice) and went on my wet merry way. I've had meals from here about a half dozen times already, so I'm just venting. We all know this isn't the only soul food show in town. I passed a bunch of places just to come to this place. When mo' better presents itself, I'll probably go there, and this place will then be in my rear view, too. Good luck. read more

This is my 3rd time patronizing this establishment and hands down this is by far the best Soul food restaurant I have had in awhile. The service is amazing friendly welcoming and family oriented. The atmosphere was clean sanitized and vibrant. The food is cooked to order so I enjoy the mouth watering Turkey chops fresh out the grease. The Red beans and rice and Yams are my favorite side dish. Today I was able to catch the Jerk Chicken bowl which I have been craving for some time now but my schedule didn't allow me to get in while it was being served. It's a special item that's made on a certain day of the week and when I tell you I rearranged my schedule today just to purchase it. I am not disappointed as I knew it would be delicious. This is a must try restaurant if you haven't already. Black owned and operated and that alone is a heart warming experience! Thanks Passion Eats I will be back read more

Food was amazing! Cooked when you place your order. So you will have to wait a little. But I can assure you the wait is worthwhile. It is not like other Soul food restaurants where they have the food sitting in pans and you don't know how long it's been there being over cooked. Your food will be guaranteed freshly cooked so I didn't mind the wait and it is usually very crowded. You can also order ahead of time to cut down the wait time. I will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

No, please do not do business with this lady. She will nickel and dime you to death and her word is not her bond. We had a set up floor plan and she ended up making a room in her banquet hall but after we had already made the floor plan. I talked to her employee twice because she wasn't there and the employee was even confused about where the tables should have been from hour initial meeting. Then the owner comes in later and says we didn't tell her. She needs to stop having her people to to the clients first because she needs to talk to the client first. At the end of the day this lady is bad business. read more

Everything was excellent and delicious! The customer service is Beyond incredible and the food I have no words to describe just how delicious every single item on the menu is. I will be back over and over and over again. You will not be disappointed everything that you order is worth the wait. read more
