I would never return to this bakery after the experience we had with our wedding cake. We placed our order in person months before the wedding and went through all the details of the cake. We wanted a simple cake for the two of us in a heart shaped (pictured here). We picked up the cake and it looked completely awful. The lettering was massive and not centered and nothing like what we were expecting. The cake was also totally slanted. We asked the man up front if we could have the lettering fixed but we ended up just having him remove the lettering entirely since he said the baker was gone for the day and we wouldn't be able to fix it in time for our wedding. We didn't use the cake because it looked terrible even after the lettering was removed. We went back for a refund and the baker told us it was our fault it was slanted, even though we left it out on the counter exactly as instructed. She was completely unsympathetic and couldn't see what the issue with the lettering was. Or the fact that the heart was massive and uncentered. She reluctantly gave me a refund and said it's my fault I should've brought it back sooner even though the bakery is closed Mon-Wed and we brought it back Thursday morning. She told me she didn't care if I left a bad review because she's been in business for 26 years and one bad review won't stop that. Don't waste your time on this place.

We stopped in Pasqualini's to get some cupcakes. When we arrived, there were no cupcakes out so we had to ask if they had any available. The employee was very friendly and checked in the back since they are made to order. The employee unfortunately had icing on her fingers and got it all over the box though and also taped it sloppily so it didn't look very presentable. We were giving it to our friend for her birthday so we were disappointed with the sloppiness. We ended up getting 4 chocolate cake with chocolate frosting cupcakes. We didn't eat any of the cupcakes since they were gifted, so we are not sure how they tasted.

Wedding Cake

We had a small wedding and ordered a cake from here for 25 people. We ordered vanilla cake with raspberry and custard filling. It was AMAZING!!! And super affordable! It was also last minute, and the bakery was so accommodating and nice to work with. They also gave us a small cake to freeze for the 1 year anniversary. Everyone was saying how delicious the cake was for a wedding cake! Highly recommend!

Call me crazy... but I did it. I ordered a cake from this place even though the reviews of cakes are nooooot shining. It was my dad's birthday and we were in Rehoboth Beach for an extended family vacation. The morning of his birthday we realized we needed cake! There aren't really bakeries around other than coffee shops. We weren't looking for pastries. Soooo I called and the lady who answered was super happy to make me a cake. Whatever I wanted. I requested plain vanilla with whipped cream and strawberries of some sort. She offered whipped cream or buttercream topping. I opted for whipped cream inside with the strawberries and buttercream on the outside. She offered decoration themes and I said beach theme would be fine - but to add a '61'. I braced myself before everyone took their first bite. And guess what? Everyone enjoyed themselves! No catastrophe and a happy birthday boy! Was it the best cake I've ever had? No. But it was good enough! Was the service and interaction with the bakery great? Yes. Don't hate on this place if you need a cake in Rehoboth. Beggars can't be choosers.

a blue and white cake

I needed a cake for a beach-themed baby shower during our family vacation in Rehoboth. We were so pleased with the beautiful, delicious cake we got from Pasqualini's. They called me back quickly after I submitted an online order request, and all the staff we spoke to, both on the phone and at pick-up, were so friendly. I told them I wanted an aqua-blue beach-y yellow cake with buttercream frosting. We loved the simple but elegant design with white chocolate shells and glitter sprinkles. The cake was so yummy and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back for some of their other baked goods next time we are in town.

Our gorgeous cake:)

Crumb cake was good but sticky buns were stale, at least 2 days old. Certainly not worth the roughly $20 price.

I was recommended to come here by a friend. I am an executive chef who has dined a lot of different…read morerestaurants. If I'm being honest, I wasn't expecting much but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of pastries and everything looked legit. I got the ham and cheese croissant, a sticky bun and a coffee cake. Let me tell you, all three were stupid good. The croissant was perfect and you could tell the ham and cheese used was high quality. The sticky bun was yeasty, well balanced and had a ton of pecan goup on it. I also got a cold brew with a shot of espresso that was exceptional as well. I do wish they offered more sizes on cold coffee but I can live with what they offer. Parking is tight but who really cares about that, you know? I'll definitely be coming back in the future. The service here is perfectly fine, everyone was professional and quick to do their job. They are a very busy business, they're not going to rub your back while you take your time ordering your food. I looked at some of their lower score reviews and I only imagine they're coming from miserable, whiney people.

Absolutely LOVE this bakery! Went in the summer and got the blueberry lemon basil tart, blackberry…read moreand apricot opera cake, and potato focaccia. The tart had a buttery crisp tart shell filled with almond frangipane with blueberries, topped with lemon creme and a basil cremeux. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, truly one of the best things I've ever eaten. Loved the variety of flavors and textures, everything worked well together. 11/10 The sourdough focaccia was topped with perfectly thin and crispy potato slices as well as some italian cheese and chives. Simple but well executed. Will say it was a bit too chewy for me. 9/10 The blackberry and apricot opera cake was also phenomenal. Tender layers of vanilla cake with blackberry and apricot jam and white chocolate mousse. Another wonderfully balanced dessert. 10/10 Went back in the fall to try some of their pumpkin pastries and they did not disappoint. I got the pumpkin loaf slice, the pumpkin tart, and the chai doughnut. The pumpkin loaf slice was good but a bit dry and could benefit from some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. The torched meringue on top complements the loaf nicely. 9/10 The pumpkin tart was fantastic. Crisp biscoff cookie crust filled with a rich and dense pumpkin custard and topped with vanilla diplomat cream and pumpkin seeds. Best rendition of pumpkin pie I've ever had. 10/10 The chai doughnut was fried to perfection with a golden crisp exterior and a soft interior. The doughnut was stuffed with a light and airy chai mousse and rolled in cinnamon sugar. Absolutely delicious, the airy mousse perfectly complements the fried doughnut. 10/10 Also had the butternut squash soup and turkey melt at their cafe. The butternut squash soup was insanely velvety and creamy with a literal torched marshmallow on top as well as dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. Best butternut squash soup I've ever had. 10/10 The turkey melt had cranberry cream cheese, roasted turkey breast, apple slices, mozzarella, gouda, and arugula on perfectly toasted country bread. Fantastically balanced sandwich, loved the variety of flavors and textures. 10/10
