This was a fun place for our first foodie adventure in Seville ! Hipster kinda place with a fun vibe and great music and great fun decor . Colorful and vibrant ! FYI Pasqual is a dog ! We were told by the manager.
Found this place while looking for a lunch place online near our hotel. Loved it was a 5 minute walk. They serve breakfast, brunch , lunch and dinner.
With outdoor seating and indoor.
Online it states if you make a reservation online you get a free glass of Cava when you arrive. Done ! Well when we were seated our server asked about drinks and I had to tell her about the free cava! Well she responded with oh ok. Have to say our sever was pretty slack and service was kinda slow considering it wasn't crazy busy.
Anyway. They have a nice varied menu of things you know and some Spanish cuisine. Caters to everyone. I really wanted the Valencia croissant which is filled with orange creme and supposed to be their signature sweet . Well I ordered it and my friend got the Spanish tortilla with truffle, which is an onion and potato omelette essentially but thicker and had this truffle sauce around it. It was fantastic and the tortilla was filled with potatoes! This was just amazing with the truffle sauce. So different and very indulgent. Highly recommend this item !
The sever came back to tell me they were out of the croissant which was a huge disappointment because she told me a solid 30 mins after we ordered. Oh well. She suggested the orange cheesecake, I'm not a big cheesecake eater but I wanted l something with orange as I was in Valencia! So I got it. And yes wow. Glad I did. Unlike your typical cheesecake . Baked in parchment it didn't really have a crust but this smooth creamy orange flavored cheesecake was perfect make. As it sits it gets more loose . Also had a nice glaze of candied oranges . Like all European desserts it wasn't so sweet so you can eat more! My friend and I made a meal of this cheesecake. Delicious.
We kept it mind incase we needed another sweet while we were here !
I also had a side of Iberian ham here and a cappuccino. I love this ham! So fresh and light. The coffee was great too. The cava for free was perfect! Nice and dry!
I went back in a Sunday afternoon when we walked past one day and I saw the croissants in the window! This orange croissant was decadent and the orange crème wasn't sweet again so you can eat it without feeling ugh . So good and perfect crispy layers of dough around it. I enjoyed every bite of this. Btw the service the second time was much better! Well worth just going here just for the croissant and cheesecake !
It can be noisy if busy but I enjoyed the food here immensely!
