We had high expectations for this place, having read the reviews and knowing it's very central in the heart of Old Town Valencia. We ordered poached eggs, but they were undercooked and very slimy. My husband ordered the American breakfast, which was far from American. The pancake was unusual... it had a corn-like consistency instead of being fluffy. The coffee and drinks were good. Maybe it was just the items we ordered, but we were not impressed. Also, the service was not the best; the staff seemed a bit rude. Love all three locations of BRUNCH CORNER. They have nice outdoor seating, cute interior AND good food! We have stopped in for coffee, matches and chai tea. So happy find they offered oat 'milk' for my latte. My husband enjoyed his David Rio Spiced Chai tea. And an onion bagel avocado tomato sandwich. Very fresh and yummy. The avocado tomato toast is very good and a great value. I also enjoy the bagel with avocado & tomato and creme cheese. Everything was perfection. Lots of options for vegetarians. We came to this breakfast place based solely on its availability to seat us, but we walked away with the biggest, most unwelcome sugar rush possible. First and foremost, this is not a breakfast joint, at least not one for adults or people who want to keep their blood sugar down. The only items that are not sugar filled are runny egg options and two or three vegan bagel options. Don't get me wrong, the bagel options were good but I could have eaten three of them (they were tiny). They also had weird waffle selections. Waffles stuffed with ham and cheese, waffles topped with ice cream and chocolate, and other sugar coated waffle options. The food was not what we wanted and not breakfast material at all. Additionally, they had a brunch menu option for €15 that included carrot or apple plum cake, more sugar for breakfast guys. On a positive note about the sugar side of things was that the ice cream is homemade and they give you a ton of it, so go nuts if that's your thing. I was baffled by the staff. All around me where customers who seemed agitated and disgruntled. One table simply just left after being there for 10-20 minutes. It appeared that the place had one person cooking and one person serving. I felt bad for our server. She seemed overwhelmed and irritated but tried to keep it together. Nevertheless, she mixed up our order and didn't bring us a few things we did order. I could also see that she did the same with other tables via the customer's facial disapproval and personal conversations. Either the management is horrible and no one wants to work there or the management is cheap and do not want to hire more people, or the other potential issue is that the staff is plentiful but didn't come to work that day. Either way, this place has a problem. Overall, the place is not gross there is just too many sugar options and the management/staff need retraining. Also, for this experience we paid €57, not worth it. If you go, be warned about the loads of sugar you're about to consume because that's all they have. read more

We visited this restaurant yesterday morning in hopes to see what all the good reviews were about. It was a little busy but we were able to be seated in the outdoor seating area in under 10 minutes. The waiter was at our table within a couple of minutes of being seated and promptly took our order. 2 Cappuccinos, 1 avocado toast and 1 grilled cheese. The cappuccinos came to the table within a couple of minutes and were quite good. We continued to sit for a good 20 minutes without food while the people around us, even some that came after us received their food, ate and left, while we still didn't have our simple order delivered. We caught the attention of one waiter (not the one that that took our order) and he said he would check on the order. Another five minutes went by with no food, no update, and we finally were able to catch the eye of the waiter that took our order. He seemed very confused when we asked where our food was and when we pointed out that the people sitting next to us, that had arrived after us, had eaten and left. He went to the kitchen and came back saying there was a mix-up and that the food was on its way. Clearly he forgot to put the order in. At this point we had been waiting for over 30 minutes and decided we could not patronize a place that employs people that can't follow the simple task they are hired for, like making sure the customer's order gets to the kitchen and they receive their food. With an abundance of other nice restaurants in close vicinity, one would think you would make sure you have capable people on your staff. In any event, we did find another great restaurant around the corner and spent our money there. read more

The ladies that run this cute little cafe are fantastic, friendly & super efficient and speak both Spanish and English fluently. And their food, oh my it was so delicious. I did get extremely lucky and scored a fresh out of the oven and newly iced piece of probably the best carrot cake of my life. Thank goodness it was ginormous because my hubby's fork kept flying over to my plate. My husband ordered a much more traditional breakfast than I did and his was incredibly tasty but, my carrot cake with a side of fresh fruit clearly won. Oh and their coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice are spot on, as well. The cafe is located on a quiet corner well into some side streets. My favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Valencia. The food, coffee, fresh squeezed organic juice, and the mimosas were amazing. A few meals are 14-16€ but come with orange juice, coffee, a yogurt, and a pancake. You get a lot of food with your meal and it is all amazing. This spot is perfect to go with friends and is usually filled with people! If you go in the weekend, I recommend having the Eggs Benedict! read more

The food was delicious, high quality, and the amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable. Got the pancake and egg Benedict brunch which comes with coffee, orange juice (fresh, a little sour), yogurt with fruit and granola (one of the best I've had) or cake (we got carrot cake, which was ok). All that food came out to 30 euros only! I loved the pancake, yogurt with fruit, and the potatoes the brunch came with! Highly recommended and will definitely come back again! read more

This is a place that is close to some major attractions in Valencia and has food at a great price. The food is delicious and comes in a good portion size, along with the staff being very nice and personable.
