This company will take advantage of you. Our kid hydroplaned and went off the road down an embankment and had to be pulled out. Paso towing showed up to the call with two tow trucks (the second was not needed). My girlfriend told him to just tow it to our house (only a mile away) but he refused. Saying it was a liability to leave it with us. There was luckily no damage to car. He said it had to be towed all the way back to his yard and we should have the auto body shop right next to him who Im pretty sure in some sort of, rub my back I rub yours, look at it. Mind you she is 16 and her car does not have full coverage so we were not going to open a claim (her insurance is high enough as it is). We went to pick it up had to argue back and forth over his actions and lies only for him to charge us $1300 (two trucks for two hours). Do not whatever you do use this joke of tow company. Paso robles towing consists of purely criminals. I parked in a "no parking zone" which is beside the point - i didn't see the sign whatever. I figured it would be a couple hundred. To my surprise it was around $1000 dollars for a couple hours ( it got taken at 8pm and i was calling about it around 10pm). They charged me for 2 hours of towing - it was a 5min drive to get to this place from where i was towed. when asked why it took 2 hours, raymond threatened me and then told me to commit fraud to my insurance company so we could both be payed. someone needs to take these guys to civil court. they are all criminals and if you ever have your car towed by them- good luck. read more

Was travelling from Los Angeles to Paso Robles for a family event and had the unfortunate circumstance of having our family vehicle break down. Past experience suggested the situation might be an ordeal, but we contacted AAA and were referred to Paso Robles Towing to handle the nearly 200 mile tow. Within 30 minutes the tow vehicle arrived and within a short time the vehicle was loaded and we were off. The gentleman who took us and our vehicle back to Los Angeles shared many things to see and do in Paso Robles in the future and we had an extremely enjoyable trip home. We also had a most enjoyable conversation about family, friends and life experiences. Here are a few takeaways I feel it is important to know... The Paso Robles Towing vehicle was new and Sergio, KNEW what he was doing. Regrettably, my experience with being towed and towing companies is somewhat greater than I'd like to admit, but it has provided me a perspective I believe might assist others. Specifically, I knew where I wanted the vehicle to be placed when arriving in Los Angeles and how the vehicle needed to oriented to allow ease of access to troubleshoot the situation and also make it easy should the vehicle need to be towed to a repair shop. I also had the issue of having to move a vehicle which required a great deal of cooperation from the Paso Roble Towing driver. In the end the towed vehicle had to be piloted while unpowered down a steep hill and onto my driveway, which had little room for error. This was done with care and CONSIDERABLE SKILL. I am VERY rarely complimentary in my evaluation of vendor-partners. In this case I found Sergio to be extremely experienced, knowledgeable and helpful. In my opinion this provider can be trusted and provides VALUE beyond measure. At another time, in past situations, I have run into unforeseen circumstances which cost a great deal of money. In this current situation Paso Robles Towing dispatched their BEST operator, almost immediately, to handle what had to be an 8-10 hour tow - round trip. We will be sure to tell all our friends in Paso/SLO about Paso Robles Towing, including anyone reading this review, that in the unfortunate circumstance where you NEED a tow, this business is a trusted partner for us, now and in the future. read more

I want to say I got stranded on 46 the cops made me call for towing. Next morning I go to pay the towing company and in less then 24 hours they charged $6.16 per minute for my car. I could not believe I paid 1,000 for less than 2 days to get my car out. The worker from the tow company told me do you want your car or not, like their doing me a favor. I paid them $744.00 so I could get my car. As soon as I paid my car they moved it out of their yard to a public parking lot and more or less said here you go. I called for a tow for 4 miles to a repair shop and they refused to do it. They lied saying I was a threat or they felt threatened so my AAA could not be honored. They wanted a $100 miles to tow but I only need 4 mile tow. Who does that. I have a 200 miles tow so they must of not wanted to work. I would never ever recommend them to tow a car. So last night we had the pleasure of having our car impounded by the Paso robles Police department over a license issue. The cause was besides the point. The reason I am writing this review is to bring to the owner or manager of Paso robles towings attention that his drivers are lying about how long it takes them to tow a car. The driver was informed the car key was in the car but we weren't sure exactly where but the car would start and drive onto his truck. We were at the Albertsons on Niblick, so either the drivers at Paso towing are the slowest on the planet or they are crooks. Because we just picked up our vehicle and had to pay for two hours of loading driving and unloading time. For a car that drove on the bed and drove off the bed and definitely wasn't even 30 minutes from their tow yard. Look I drove tow truck for 16 years and I know exactly why the driver did what he did it was out of greed, you see police rates pay the most money somewhere around $250 per hour, so even though the job could have been done by a monkey in 45 minutes this nice gentleman greedy driver who probably makes 35% commission decided $90 wasn't enough for his hour of work so why not charge us for 2 hours so he would get $180 and apparently Paso towing condones this type of behavior most likely because they make $400 plus storage instead of just $140 after paying their driver.The driver arrived and was gone in less than 30 minutes with a car he could unstrap and drive right off of his bed. He just took advantage of the fact that we have to pay whatever they ask of us in order to get our car back. So for a tow from Albertsons on Niblick to the Chevy dealership on theatre drive and less than 24hrs storage we were charged $790. Again our car drove on and off of the tow truck. Our car is an SUV with plenty of clearance. Theres no reason it should have taken two hours. You and your drivers are a bunch of thieves and I would never recommend you to anyone. I am going to right a formal complaint to the CHP and the better business bureau and inform them of your practices. It's absurd of you to even try to justify 2 hours of service for a 4 mile tow. Crooks is what you are.I gave you one star because zero was not an option. I'm sure you'll have some condescending answer or should I say lie as to why your monkeys aren't as fast as normal monkeys or some other made up reason as to why it took your driver that long but you can save it because anything short of our money for the hour your driver didn't work being returned to us is just a slap in the face read more

Our trailer de-coupled from our truck on the freeway, and Bruno was on the scene within 10 minutes, I can not even explain how grateful I am that Bruno was the one to pull up to the scene. The trailer was wedged underneath the truck, and we had no idea what to do. When BRUNO showed up, his out of the box mentality was able to unwedge the trailer in less than 5 minutes. NOT recommend. Suspicious activity, and non responsive. I had originally booked a tow through AAA in Paso robles. I was told by Pete Johntson that they were booked solid for 2-3 days but they could give me a tow in town. ... (Red flag: They could charge me a tow AND storage fees through the weekend?) Secondly, they went back and forth and gave misinformation with AAA. So it took about 5 hours just to cancel their towing booking. I was left in the dark and AAA never comunicated with me and I had to contact both their company amd AAA directly. Waste of my time. Finally, the next morning AAA booked another tow service with a different company and they were on site in 20 minutes. I recomend C&D Towing service. He called to let me know he was on his way etc. so glad this young man is on staff. I've dealt with a person in the last who was so negative this was definitely a nice change Today, my daughter drove home on a flat tire. Again we called AAA to get hep putting on the spare so we can drive to get some tires. Hootie was dispatched again and I told my husband, this kids so nice glad he's coming. After working with Hootie for a bit my husband came in and said we didn't have the part to take off the tire off. Hootie said he may have one at home and ran home to get it. He returned shortly, changed the tire and said to keep the tire tool. My husband came back in and said. "he's not a nice kid, he's more like and angel" another great service provided. I am so disappointed called in for a tow. I have an H2 Hummer I gave them size of vehicle including the weight and over sized tires. The owner said no problem! Driver came out an hr later in a 4 door huge diesel flat bed! He then proceeded to tell me my truck is too big and he could not take it! He said sorry and best of luck! I asked if they have a bigger truck the could send out and he said no. I would never recommend this company to anyone as I am stuck on the side of the rd with 2 small children waiting for another tow. This is the tow truck that came out to tow my H2 Hummer and he said it weighs too much. As you can see this is a Duramax that weighs 10,000 lbs! My H2 weighs 6400lbs.
