The course was in great condition, staff was friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great as well...no complaints.

The course is great but don't expect good service. Our cart was broken when we received it and when we returned it they really didn't care. No help with bags. No service at all. We paid for practice balls but had to get a refund because there was no room to practice. And the Marshalls came out regularly even though we were keeping up with pace of play. We felt harassed. Played 18 at this course over the weekend. Had a nice experience from start to finish. Starter was a Friendly gentleman: gave us some tips on the holes and was an overall good guy. Course was in nice shape. Fairways were clean and greens were groomed. Lots of water hazards and sand so hit them straight! During a week long stay in Paso with friends last week we are steered to PRGC for our round of golf. The course is nicely maintained and worth the cost FOR RESIDENTS of SLO County. Skinning out of town golf enthusiasts with a $91 green fee (w/cart) is shameful. This is not a public course supported with tax money. No equity among golfers. Every staff members tag line was you will find the course worth the money. It is not a $91 course. Also being from out of town we were told the greens roll pretty straight. Played 18 holes mid day on a Friday, the round took almost 5 hours. This entire course plays through tract homes, not a very inspiring layout....especially for the price. The greens were in good shape, but extremely slow. The bar and restaurant was jumping though. read more

We played yesterday and what a hidden gem, we are on vacation and played three other courses in area that have gone down hill (Pardon the pun) as far as condition and played Paso Robles golf club and wow great staff very welcoming course in fantastic shape had to leave after round so we could not try the Resturant but it looked great. We will for sure be back next time in the area the only thing we would like if the Resturant could serve breakfast on week days but Iwe understand. read more

Don't think I've ever met a marshal as rude as Dewey. It's a bit comical how rude and disrespectful he is. Halfway through the round you might say "hang on, am I in 1942 Berlin or Paso Robles?" But even with Dewey doing his best to ensure you don't enjoy your time here, it's still a great spot. Pro shop staff is always friendly and awesome and Deeds is a great food spot. read more

Thank God for mailing lists. I got an email that said they were now serving brunch until 1:00 p.m., so I had to give it another go. They have some new friendly servers. Garrett was quick and efficient and the bartender had the drinks out in a flash. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas did the trick. I'm so happy that my neighborhood bar is up and running again. It's like it's back from the dead. The brunch menu is simple and good. Not going to critique the food too hard because the fact that they serve late on weekends is fine with me. If I were going to add anything though, it would be nice if they offered hash browns as an option in addition to the big chunky potatoes, but NBD. So much better. A few years back I left a review because of a less than good experience on the golf course and involving the golf course staff. Time has past and I have been on this course many many times since then. The golf course plays excellent and is a blast for the price. Good water features, fairways and greens. Its the end of the summer so some of the rough is getting very dry but that is to be expected but the fairways have no sign neglect. The restaurant is fantastic. They just completed another huge remodel on Aug 1 and it is a blast. I am excited to go back for dinner very soon. We had breakfast there this morning prior to golf and the food look and tasted amazing. Keep up the great work Paso Robles Golf Club. read more

Food was good, cocktails fairly good, service very good. Prices appropriate UNTIL a small charge for 'condiment' , really? A couple tablespoons of ranch for my fries and this is a line item on the bill? I didn't ask for ketchup but it came with the meal so that hit the trash. I don't like nickel and dining. Ate breakfast at Deeds restaurant as we wanted to take my in-laws we were visiting out to breakfast. Deeds is recently renovated and was beautifully done. It was so nice sitting out on the patio eating breakfast. They are pet friendly so our cockapoo Sunny was able to join us too! The cinnamon French toast combo was delightful. Nice thick delicious bacon as the meat side for me was cooked perfectly. My hubby got ham as a side and it was a nice thick crescent piece full of flavor. We will be coming back to spend Mother's Day with my in laws and didn't leave without making a reservation for then! See you in May and job well done Deeds! read more

This review is for the Banquet Room, Catering & Bar --- I have hosted my company Holiday Party there for the last few years and each and every year it seems to get better and better. The food was outstanding and the room was decorated beautifully. The service staff were very accommodating as was the excellent bartender Fred. All in all a Homerun!! We will be back for sure. I gotta say, I'm a bit intimidated by this place, but I finally decided i want to learn to golf at age 45 and purchased lessons through PRG with Mike Brabanec, the course golf pro. I really like coming here and Mike is FANTASTIC to work with. So much that I've purchased lessons for friends too. The course has recently changed ownership, is in great condition and is certainly building steam with the local community. Their carts, greens, putting area and restaurant are all exceptional quality. They even resurfaced the parking lot and new landscaping. I'd say in comparison to other courses I have now played, the pro shop could use a little work... But then again, you don't "play" the pro shop. Overall as a new golfer I really like this place. I hope they continue to find ways to attract new golfers and make them comfortable, because this is the one thing I think they lack and need work on. Overall I give them a 4.85 as it appears this course is certainly making big progress and I plan on continuing to play and support this local course. read more

Nice little neighborhood golf course. Nothing against the golf course, but did have an incident with one of the homeowners on the course. Greeted by crazy barking dogs while looking for our ball that was on the fenceline. Homeowner yelled from inside her screened back door, "you're ball belongs to me! Your on private property!" Seriously! You live on a golf course, understand that some people may be inconsiderate in attempt to find/retrieve their ball, but we were respectful and wouldn't have tried to retrive it if it weren't near the fence. We come here regularly for breakfast on weekdays. Always greeted with a smile and a bowl of water for our dogs. Great views and they don't rush you. read more

What a reasonably priced, fun course to play. The elevations are challenging,the oak trees are beautiful and the greens are very well maintained. The water elements and the traps mixed it up a bit. The pace was great this am as we got in 18 holes in under 4 hours walking. The staff was also very friendly. We'll definitely play here again the next time we're in Paso. read more

A group of coworkers have been frequenting the club for years. We have always enjoyed our visits and we're very excited about the change over to Deeds. We've been to Deeds a few times and it has been very pleasant. HOWEVER, we returned today. The items on the menu read the same, but the food was different. The hamburger was tasteless and the onion rings could have been from a frozen bag. Horrible. The service was absolutely deplorable. When a colleague ordered a soda with bitters it came w/o bitters. The server argued and said bitters were added. They weren't. Then the bar tender proceeded to the table and said, "No one drinks bitters because it's disgusting." Uh......Then he returned and stated his opinion again. The server was completely incompetent. We were loyal costumers who were treated poorly today. We will not return. By the way, we spend bank! I only give this course a 2 star because the course is in good shape. However, the staff are extremely rude and greedy and selfish. I would not support or give money to this course if you can go somewhere else. They also need better covid protocol. Their bar and restaurant have no spacing. read more

Fun place to play golf in between wine tasting. Staff very helpful. Even took time to show us wineries and breweries to go to. Really nice people laid back no rushing at all. Course played fast was challenging and fun. Finished in 3 hrs. Love it up here beats the heck out of 5 hr rounds in orange county. read more

Nice venue with excellent service, though the menu is quite limited with zero vegan or vegetarian options save for a salad or two. Add some healthier options for sandwiches and or meatless burgers and this place would be much more popular. read more
