It is a brightly-lit, high ceiling building that has a collection of artwork (for sale!) from multiple local talents of various mediums. I went in to look, but walked out with 2 multi-media oil painting-newspaper pieces from an artist named Holly whom I even got to meet! It was incredible to get to chat with her about what inspired her to create this kind of work. Then at checkout, my eyeballs deceived me by wandering to some cool glass-blown plant stick decorations that were made from the last Disney glass blower. So, I, of course, *had* to buy a couple of those delightful beauties! Everyone I met there was friendly and welcoming; there is much to look at and much to do there; it is also a place that has many giftable items if you have a birthday or holiday coming up or need some walls to fill. If I had more time, I would have stayed and participated in the self-paced $10 watercolor painting project that was setup in the middle of the hall. Heck, I could be here all day!

I was familiar with the work of the gallery owner, Julie Dunn from a benefit show at the SLO Botanical Garden. I had gotten several of her vivid landscape tiles as presents for my friends. We were immediately greeted by Julie, who is very personable, and is the perfect person to represent the paintings and artworks on display in the gallery. They depict the lush landscape and creative crafts of local San Luis Obispo artists. The crafts also display a sophisticated level of work, along with a sense of humor that make this the perfect place to come select gifts for your friends, or for yourself! I am looking forward to the upcoming show of floral themes!

It has a small town charm but still has everything you'd need. There are a variety of restaurants, boutique shops, coffee shops, and of course wineries. They are all throughout the area on every block which is convenient if you don't want to visit the estates further away. They're slowly building out more hotels in the area which is great for tourism. Overall Paso Robles is a great place to visit and the majority of people will visit the downtown area.

Every year towards the end of the months of April and October, Art In The Park is held in downtown City Park on 12th and Spring streets. The large grassy, oak studded park offers a nice venue for this free event. This affair draws artists from multiple states to showcase and promote their art forms. All artwork is available for purchase by attendees of the event. A plethora of art forms are available to enjoy - ceramics, clothing, fine jewelry, acrylic & oil paintings, photography, sculptures, glass works, metal artworks, woodworking, and much more. Parking is generally hard to find surrounding the park. Remember to check the parking signs as regulations have just changed again. Register your license plate with the parking kiosk as the first two hours are free and $1/hour thereafter. A few blocks in either direction, there are hundreds of free, non-metered spaces. The Art In The Park show at the downtown City Park is surrounded by a multitude of restaurants for a snack, lunch, or after-show dinner.

We met with one of the winemakers, and he made the experience so fun! Their tasting honestly was probably one of my favorites! Me and my friend couldn't decide which bottle to buy haha; we wanted to get them all but we ended up getting their viognier! It was so light, crisp, and nothing I had before. They definitely perfected each of their wines, so this place is a must try! They waive your tasting when you buy a bottle, so that was an awesome perk! We wish they had a vineyard we can go and become members at; we will definitely come again

The owner Cole immediately got us seated and we started with a tasting of their reds. All of the wine was delicious. The tasting was $25 each, but they wave the fee if you purchase two bottles. I bought four of my favorite bottles. They provide a nice carrying bag that protected the bottles. The location is super clean with lots of parking nearby. I really love their wine glasses too. Definitely check them out!
