Ron was very helpful and patient as he explained the different grades of cabinetry available (I believe his company carries 9 varieties of kitchen and bath cabinets) and helped us choose the right style and color of cabinets for our project. Ron was also very helpful in addressing a number of questions we had, both before and after our cabinet selection, and always responded promptly to our emails and calls. He also came to our condo at least three times (and probably more), first to offer his input on design, which proved to be invaluable, and later to work out details, make changes, etc. and to participate in the delivery and installation of the cabinets. He also worked with my wife, who wanted to add a feature as a surprise to me, locating what she wanted, changing the plans as necessary to install it, etc., all without disclosing her surprise to me. Now that the cabinets have been installed, some adjustments/corrections/additions will be necessary. Ron has cooperated fully and promptly, including offering to do some work that is really the responsibility of the installing contractor, and we are completely confident that all final matters will be fully and fairly addressed/resolved as promptly as possible. Finally, this company's prices were highly competitive. We "price shopped" the cabinetry at other well known suppliers in Metro Detroit, and no one else even came close to matching, let alone beating, the price and quality Whole Builder Supply offered. In summary, we cannot say enough good things about Ron Bonner and Wholesale Builder Supply and recommend both without reservation.

Our builder and tile mason suggested we head to Dwyer to see some stone slabs. The selection was…read moreoutstanding, and the showcase and viewing of them was easy and accessible. Our consultant was Jacqueline. With her interior design eye and knowledge, it was easy to wade through the options and make decisions. We weren't aware they also carried tile and were thrilled to get that coordinated too. Way easier than our experience at a major tile store that was overwhelming and we had little help. As first-time builders, Jacqueline's guidance was so appreciated and we are thrilled with our choices. A class operation, that we highly recommend. Doug and Connie C.

It honestly felt like the shopping scene from Pretty Woman--as though she had decided, based solely on our appearance, that we could not afford to shop there and were not worth her time. For the record, my daughter is an accomplished paramedic with a master's degree, pre-med student, and I am a business owner. We had both the means and the intention to purchase a slab for a large custom bathroom remodel. We simply did not find a slab we liked. Of course, none of those credentials should be required for a customer to receive basic courtesy and professional service. The experience angered me, but what bothered me most was seeing how deeply the salesperson's treatment hurt my daughter. No customer should be made to feel small, embarrassed, or out of place because they arrived at a stone warehouse wearing shorts and T-shirts. We will purchase our slab elsewhere. Dwyer lost our business because of the way we were treated--not because of its prices or inventory. Management should seriously examine how customers are judged, greeted, and treated in this showroom.

We looked at several available products available at the shop and decided on a clip together tile that the shop would install. The owner stopped in to measure an also offered to cover a limestone step into the addition with the tile. The finished job was not the cheapest product we had seen but the professionalism in the total purchase and installation of the flooring is one of the best values we have acquired in many years. We are extremely pleased with the look and the obvious quality of the tile. Thanks David. Good to know we still have quality products and installation still available when you look for it.

So the Tile Stop is an incredible selection of just about any kind of Tile you can think of, but…read moreman -- customer service is quite low on their priority list. I came in with an obscure color and size of tile from a broken bathroom and they matched it up rather quickly. We ordered what we thought was the right color in the right finish, and it was ordered within minutes, shipped in two days. The only problem was that it differed with the sample that we agreed on. Now I only have a bachelor's degree, and Lord knows I've never worked at a tile shop before, but the man patronized me for having the audacity to try to order the correct tile. On the receipt, Tile Stop had the right number, but had the wrong name, and we probably argued about the stupid $7 worth of tile for about twenty minutes until his coworker came in and said, "Let's try to make the customer happy. He's probably wrong and I'd put money on that, but worse comes to worse he'll have twice as much of the wrong tile." And I reluctantly agreed, but it was too late to call their distributor for the random tile. So they said they'd call the next day. About two weeks later I had assumed they either forgot or didn't want to order it again. So I called The Tile Stop and they, indeed, had no recollection of the reorder... So, I paid twice as much for the right tile and shipping with their distributor (Beaver Glass and Tile) 40+ miles away and guess what? I was correct. Who knew the customer could be even occasionally right? Wouldn't go with them again outside of convenience to match the tile. Incompetence aside, no customer should feel attacked for wanting to get a product. In fact, I would put money on the fact that they still have the wrong style of tile somewhere waiting for someone to pick it up. Maybe I'm an isolated case, but maybe not. Happy hunting!
