During my most recent visit, I asked Hannah if she was one of the owners. Her knowledge of every stone, every style, care of the stones and alternatives when necessary. Hannah knows where every single stone is located in the large, clean showroom (also second to none) and every sample. Hannah's personality was very kind, warm and welcoming and when my kitchen is done, I hope she will visit in person to see how beautiful her vision was. She cared as much as I did that every detail was perfect and every question I had was answered, patiently and without pressure. If you are looking for tile or stone, save yourself the trouble and go to MSI first. You won't be sorry.

Michigan Hardwood Distributors (MHD) sold my installer defective prefinished hardwood. The defect…read morebecame apparent post installation, that there are white lines running along the seams of each plank of wood. Please see attached photos. Only after we made MHD aware of this issue did they inform me that this is an industry standard with the particular product they sold us. I checked the National Wood Flooring Association Guidelines and Standards, and have found 0 evidence to support their claim. They never once warned me that contrary to sample boards and photos online, my floor would have white streaks running along the seams. My installer made multiple efforts to reach resolution with MHD, but they have failed to properly help him fix my floor. They don't seem to care for their customers, and certainly not for the end users of the products they sell. One star is overly generous for this company. They are grossly negligent at best, and fraudulent at worst. I would strongly caution all customers from working with Michigan Hardwood Distributors.
