The crew who hit our vehicle did not speak English therefore we contacted the owner who asked if we had video proof right away. Since we did not, only still images, he told us he would do nothing about it. We requested a copy of his insurance which he refused to provide. I would never do business with someone who runs a company like this. There are plenty of granite companies that would never treat a customer like this.

A call to them indicated a lack of professionalism and process where apparently the service rep had and took the option of not coming to the appointment, or calling to cancel. Such geographic discrimination is ridiculous, especially since they are located in Southfield, not exactly a tony suburb to flip their noses at business in Detroit. Exceptional customer service from the start! Justin was very informative, educated us about the process and gave us an approximate quote based off our measurements right away. I came here because of the reviews and I am glad I did! I've had less than acceptable experiences working with various contractors and I wanted to work with someone who was timely, cost effective, great customer service and good quality. I expressed that to Justin and he was so understanding and assured me they are all those things. He was right! The next day Jorge came to my house to take measurements. He was very polite and knowledgeable about granite and overall experience. They say it takes two weeks from the date they receive the slab order you pick out. That is indeed true. I had a very specific granite vision of what I wanted. I went to a few suppliers and found the one I wanted. However, when it came in, the slab was cracked and MGE did not want me to be disappointed as they genuinely cared about the finished product and quality. We sent it back. Then, Kleopatra called me and offered to come with me to the suppliers to help me look at the granite and inspect it herself. I was so relieved and was blown away with how she went above and beyond to keep me informed of everything and to ensure I chose the granite we would be satisfied with long term. We ended up picking Avalon White from MSI. She inspected it and showed me which part of the slab they would use. I was reassured and so excited! Their prices are competitive and cost effective for their customers. The install team was outstanding. Our home is a historical home built in 1884, so the ground isn't as leveled. They stayed for 6 hours reconfiguring until it was perfect. They wanted to ensure it looked pristine and they do!! We love them and would highly recommend MGE to anyone.
