This is a nice relaxed place to meet friends and unwind ( or should I say, unwine!) Sit on the deck outside, order a cheese plate and share a bottle ( or 2!) I enjoyed their Red blend and their Syrah. My girlfriend really likes the Rose. Will definitely be back! read more

I really like this Winery. The selection of wines is vast and very good. It is a good place for groups are there is lots of room and the tasting room has lots of charm. There is a large deck that you can sit out on overlooking the vineyards and ponds. Very scenic area. Staff was nice, not very personable but overall friendly. If your not an animal person you may want to steer clear or sit out on the deck as there is a cat and large, but very friendly, dog that roam the grounds and tasting room. Being from wine country in California I was really pleased with the reds I found at Paschal but what stood out the most was their Voignier Port which was so unusual that I had to try it. I knew it was coming at some point in my flight but the lady in the tasting room didn't inform me that she had poured it for me until I had already choked on it because of it's much higher alcohol content. The reds were great but the tasting room lady was distracted and snobbish at best. She got a little snooty when we said we were from California's wine country but even her bitterness didn't taint the beautiful Syrahs we tasted. I did however make sure to eat all of her oyster crackers. read more

Sadly dissapointed. I've visited a few times before and enjoyed it. Seems the new owners have replaced some of the finer Dobbs vines they used to pour and brought in some wines from the Sierra Foothills appelation of California, which had a harsh vegetative aftertaste that you get when blending an under-ripened cab. Stick to Oregon wines, thats what folks visit wineries in Oregon to taste. The Pinot Gris was nice. hint: 2 parts good wine plus two parts bad wine equals 4 parts bad wine. read more

We went to this winery and vineyard on 9/12/2010. Both my partner and I are fans of wine tasting and have visited many vineyards. I've never experienced such a weirdly apathetic service at the tasting bar, nor have I ever had someone not offer at least one free taste (they actually have 2 free tastes, but she never bothered to mention that). I thought maybe this was just a new employee, but it turns out that she was one of the owners. Additionally, of the 5 wines I tasted (I did the red flight), only one remotely stood out, 3 were medicore, and 1 was actually bad. Not "not within my palate," but almost turned. I had the money and desire to spend on a couple of bottles of wine and a good experience, but not here. read more

Paschal Winery has beautiful views, good food, and good wine. But their prices per glass seem very high, and you get a pretty stingy pour. Will not be returning as there are much better deals at other, nearby, wineries and they are also beautiful. read more

The ownership changed recently and I had hopes that the wine would improve and maybe it has. I only go to the winery for concerts; it a great small venue. In December we went to hear the amazing Jodi French on harpsichord and a cellist who was also trying to play the viola and violin. I tried the syrah (overpriced) after overhearing someone say it was good. It was better than previous red wines I had here, but it still needed to be cut with water. read more

Excellent wines with the tasting. The reds are so rich and complex it almost takes your breath away. The tasting room is large and airy with artwork surrounding you. If you aren't into artwork, the view is breath taking. If you are lucky, you can make it to the Wednesday "Cork and Fork", a catered meal. The "flights" or tastings are ten dollars and I have yet to depart without a bottle or twelve. The staff are knowledgeable about the wines, winery, and grapes they use. As a local resident for the past 24 years here in the Rogue Valley I have been a big fan of Paschal Winery since they opened. The venue went through a change of ownership for several years and is now back with the original owner and management. Aga & Sylvia do a great job making folks feel welcome and are very involved in the community, hosting concerts, art shows, local nights, etc. It's got one of the best views in the valley and is a great place have a picnic on the deck with a glass of wine or catch one of the great performances that they feature there monthly. I read a couple of the negative reviews here and wanted to let people know that this is a great locally owned family run establishment and is worth checking out. "Devilishly Delectable Civita Di Bagnoregio" Having visited this winery three times in the last four months, the peacefully sylvan setting (hilltop territorial views, a pond replete with feathered friends, well-tended vineyard, etc.) alone along with the sweetly knowledgeable guidance dispensed by the hosts (Aga and Sylwia) would have entice me to return "sometime." But, once I tasted the Civita and then the Tempranillo (I have to admit an almost irrational bias to the full-bodied red wines of from the vines of the Tempranillo), it was a foregone conclusion that I would become a frequent imbiber of Paschal Winery's ambrosial offerings. Note: On my most recent visit, I was privileged to enjoy a glass or two of their now sold-out Merlot ~Tempranillo 2008 (A lovely blend!), but am eagerly awaiting their new wines from their nicely stewarded cellars! Went to cork and fork on a Wednesday night. Wine was good at $10 a glass. Dinner was unremarkable, dab of guacamole with 2 chips, cold rice, 2 fish tacos that needed salt, a vegetarian meal consisted of cabbage on tortillas in place of fish even though they were informed ahead of time and said they could prepare a vegetarian dish. We went to 4 daughters after because we were still hungry, way better! Update: thank you Paschal for your comments. We did make sure when we made the reservation that you could accommodate a vegetarian is why we were disappointed. We still like Paschal as a winery and if we have the opportunity will take you up on your offer. Thanks! read more

Great place! Excellent wines served in a unique ambience with a great view. The lady in charge was one of the nicest we've met in a winery.

This is one of my favorite wineries in the area, I saw that someone said that their tastings were $25.00 and I think they were at the wrong winery, tastings are $10.00. All of the wines here are great and the people who work here even better. On Wednesday nights they have a Cork and Fork dinner, each month the food is from a different caterer, so myself and eight friends usually try to make it for a great meal, some fabulous wine and a lot of fun. read more

I am so amazed at this wonderful little winery. The food, the wine, and the homey atmosphere is the reason why I go to the Cork and Fork dinners almost weekly. The live music and the welcoming atmosphere makes this place a must go. Besides the wine tasting and delicious dinners, Paschal Winery is extremely beautiful and angelic. The colors of the vineyard and the romantic setting exceeds beyond any expectations of a local winery. I've been to many wineries and tasting rooms over time. This was one of the best. Spectacular views, a quiet relaxing atmosphere but best of all terrific wines! Generous pours and when I added a fruit/cheese plate it was the perfect combination. Aga, as she's known to locals, is a great hostess and she really knows her wines. Paschal has become a home away from home for my family. We frequent this establishment often. Since the change in ownership about a year ago, the tasting room has become the warm and inviting environment I remember from when we first moved here 8 years ago! We have a one year old daughter and have other friends who have children and this place is warm and inviting to families! I will start out by saying the wine is enjoyable... However, I would never recommend holding an event at this location. I just had my daughters wedding there, and Donna, the owner was VERY difficult, rude, forgetful, and greedy! Even going so far as to approach me about additional money while the reception was still going on. I could go on, but whatever you do, please think twice before holding an event there. I lived down the street for almost two years and shamefully never made it out here. When my mom came to visit shortly after I moved, we spent an afternoon wine tasting and finally came to Paschal. We loved it! We were there on Easter Sunday and found the location and atmosphere very pleasant. The woman behind the bar, who seemed to be the only one working a fairly busy room, handled all guests excellently and we found that she poured our flights at a good pace and was happy to talk to us as we sipped. I am a die-hard white wine lover but was so impressed by the Jill's Rose. The woman even allowed me an extra sample of this instead of the dessert wine as part of my flight. We were so happy with the wine and our experience that I opted to join the the membership club ($1 for a bottle of the rose and both of our tastings comped when I joined! Fantastic value!). It seems like this winery holds a lot of fun events and dinners too... I can't wait to come out to Paschal again and bring friends! read more

This was my first time to the winery, and sadly I will never ever go back, nor with I ever buy their wine or recommend it to my friends/family. I visited this winery with 6 of my friends for my 30th birthday party. We rented a limo and were doing a tour of some of the wineries in Rogue Valley and this was on the list of recommended wineries from the limo company, so I decided to give it a go. It's a beautiful venue with nice deck and large tasting room but when we first arrived the limo driver introduced us and the lady behind the counter, Donna, was very rude, acted like she didn't know we were coming (they made an apt) then looked at her calendar and said "oh yeah, we did this as a last minute favor." She was rude, no personality, no smiles, and we didn't feel welcome at all. She then started pouring our wines and had poured me a glass of white, and I reminded her I ordered the red flight, but that I would try this one first. She then took the glass from me and THREW THE WINE IN THE SINK!! I was appalled. First of all, if it had already been poured, no need to waste it, second, she could have been nice and said Happy Birthday, enjoy. HORRIBLE SERVICE. She should not be behind the counter "serving people". She then told my friend she could not sit on the side of the bar area because that was for passport customers only (we were the only people in there), she also told us we could not have any of the food that was laid out because that also was for passport customers only. Then, as we were leaving she told us to straighten up the deck and put our seats back!! What?? Seriously this is the worst winery experience I have ever had. We were a fun bunch of girls and could have spent some money there on wines, but Donna was so awful all we wanted to do was leave. read more
