This is the best Persian food I've ever had. My friend introduced me to this place and we each ordered a meet dish. Presentation is very impressive, and the taste surprised me. The room is decorated with delicate rugs and glassware. Such a great experience I will definitely coming back.

We were craving Persian food, found a gem of a restaurant in Coquitlam. The ambience is a 5* hotel worthy shout out! Jumping directly to the order. The hummus was delicious and so flavorful! The beef kebab (Koubideh) was juicy, light and scrumptious! Surprise dish was Ash Reshteh - noodles, beans, herbs, fried onions with lentils - it was a vegetarian delight! Overall, such an experience that I would highly recommend anyone craving a fresh, decadent and luxurious treat!

It's a great place to have a good/decent Persian kebab. We didn't like the stews, nothing wrong with it, It's just a personal preference. Overall little bit pricey, but they give you lots of food. Would definitely go back for the kebobs!

Went here with my Persian friend, was surprised with the amount of serving. Ginormous kabobs. Not dry and quite tasty. Way better than food court ones. Price I can't complain cause he paid for it Can't go wrong for free food. Glad we went here. Was worth my time highly recommend

I've only eaten Persian twice and definitely not familiar with the cuisine so I relied on the food delivery website's recommended dishes based on their customer's favourites. It was also a bit pricey but I decided what the heck as this was one of the restaurants I wanted to try before the pandemic. I ordered Vaziri (a combo of chicken breast and ground beef skewers served on rice) and although not much to look at when I opened the containers, the aroma was so enticing. I was confused with the triangular cut pieces of pita and butter and, cut quarters of raw red onions on the side. I wasn't sure how to eat them together(?) There were also thinly-sliced raw white onions in the container so I'm assuming Persians like onions with their meals. There was also a giant grilled tomato that I mistook for a potato (sorry, I thought it would be like a Greek potato!) The beef was juicy and very flavourful and would definitely order again. The chicken breast skewer (sans skewer sticks, yay!) was a bit dry but still delicious. Although there was plenty of rice, it was rather bland and dry. I tried to mix in the butter to the rice but it didn't do much to jazz it up. Overall, although I liked the flavours, I thought it was lacking in vegetables and moisture. Was I supposed to order some kind of sauce or condiment to go with my meal to add a moist component to my meal? Or was the onion and tomato supposed to add that missing texture? I need to do more research on how to eat Persian food. I'll probably visit the restaurant and watch how the other patrons eat their dishes (without being stalky, of course.)

Amazing food! Their portion size is good and the aroma is amazing. The texture of their meat is good and tastes delicious. A bit on the pricier side but I'd say it's worth it. I've had kebab in other restaurant for about the same price if not a bit more expensive, but their food are not as good and less portion too. There's definitely good and cheaper options like Caravan Authentic Cafe or the one in the food court, but Pasargad is going for the slightly higher end side of the restaurants. The staffs are friendly and the place is nicely decorated. Nice atmosphere and spacious place with lots of tables. Parking lot right outside and walkable to the bus stops. The place is clean and the smell of that place is just irresistible. I would recommend this place! Available for delivery, takeouts and dine-in.

You can always count me in for Persian food, but let me tell you about this place.. you WILL NOT be disappointed, by far the best Persian food I've had in the lower mainland. Had a group dinner and was able to try a lot of appies which I love. Everything was spectacular. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This place has a good vibe, friendly staff...from the cashier to the bakery, to the deli counter ending at the restaurant section...we received warm attentive service. Love their fresh meat section and their ground lamb was wonderful. Their grocery deli section is decent but could have more variety. We tried their cream puff and coconut rollette ....it didn't taste fresh. It didn't taste as if it had been freshly baked that day. Perhaps had been previously prepared and refrigerated. The pastry had collected moisture instead of it being flakey and crisp, which indicates pre-refrigeration. I guess my standards for a bakery are quite high. Fresh baked goods daily. The restaurant. Even though the portion size and quality needs improvement....I have to be fair and acknowledge their affordable and reasonable menu pricing. You get what you pay for. Yup. That pretty much sums it up.

The inside of the kebab was completely raw and they brought a vegetable stew without meat that is added with meat salt. Ultimately, their food is terrible and their products are very expensive. I shared the Qabuli Pulao (27.99) and we even had some leftover since it was very rich and hearty! The rice was buttery and despite not being a big raisin fan, the sweetness of the raisins complemented the dish very well. The lamb shank was tender and easily fell off the bone as pictured, and was in some sort of slightly heated tomato sauce. I'd want to try the Uzbeki Pulao next time. As for the pot of Turkish tea (3.99), it came in a nice set with sugar cubes, definitely a bit on the strong bitter side but very pretty and great for sharing. Same with the pistachio halwa (6.99), I found it to be quite bitter and am not sure if that's the norm or not.. didn't love it. But overall, I liked the ambiance and the service was good, the server answered all my questions! Bonus points for the jazz playlist they had playing during my visit.

I walked in to the restaurant and noticed how clean the place is. The restaurant had a few customers at the time, one doing a pick up and another couple who dined in, et moi. Anyway, let's talk about the food. I opted for the Lamb Shank and Dill Weed Rice, which to my surprise had a gigantic serving. I wasn't expecting the special to be this huge, I would even say good for two. The server said that its the same portion as the dinner platter but with a cheaper price tag. For an $11.95 special though, I'm not complaining, however, the lamb was a bit chewy and could need a little more salt.

They seriously need a new menu or a new cook. The bread felt and tasted like it was microwaved before they served it. It was chewy, hard and tasteless. The prices are above average, I expected a variety of different ingredients on my plate. We will not go back until a change in food and possibly menu, and can not recommend it to anyone.
