I had been seeing the quality of Pasadena Fence Co. work for years in our neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. Our fence had not been replaced since 2008 after Ike. We needed a new strong build. Contacted them from their website and Jayden called back within an hour. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate the next morning. Jayden called when he was heading over. He came over measured the yard and gave me a written estimate. We got 4 other estimates. Pasadena was one of the highest. I talked to a couple of people who had dealt with Pasadena in the past and decided to go with them. Their reputation was worth a few extra dollars. I needed it done fairly quickly because I have two large dogs that need to be in a fenced in area. Came out the morning they said they would be here. Horrible Quality - I had Pasadena Fence out to my office install privacy slats into our existing chainlink fence that is the perimeter of our property. The slats are completely uneven at the top of the fence and vary in length from section to section of the fence. In 85% or the fence, the slats stick up above the actual chainlink itself. It looks like the project is incomplete. It appears that all that needs to be done as a final step is for someone to trim the tops to match the height of the fence. When we discussed this with Dennis Everett, VP of Pasadena Fence and were told on two different occasions that he would send someone out to take a look at it. No one ever came out - the problem was never addressed and he never replied to our final email in which we sent pictures and a recap of the situation. The fence looks terrible and is not reflective of the investment we made with Pasadena Fence. Ridiculously unimpressive!!! read more

We had fences replaced and an electric gate installed across the driveway in 2016. We had several problems, but, there was usually a quick response and repair done. On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, our gate wasn't closing correctly. I contacted the owner, Dennis Everett, he gave me the name and phone number of his "guy" to contact. I contacted the "guy" and he couldn't promise to come out on that day, but, he did show up about 6:30 pm, which was nice. He made the adjustment, advised us that the operator was not installed properly and that the gate was too big for the operator (this is the same thing we have heard from every tech). 30 minutes after he left the weld that holds the operator in place broke. I called the owner directly on his phone and never heard back from him. I did not expect a call or a repair on the 4th of July. On Thursday, July 5th, I called their offices at 9 am, was told by the woman answering the phone that Dennis would call right back. Never heard a word from anyone. At 4:45 pm, I called Dennis, he had been too busy all day and other people were on his call back list. I told him the problem, asked him what he thought of the techs assessment of the gate size and operator size and installation. He said none of those people would have ever said that to me. So, now I am a liar. He would get on the phone with the repair person and get right back with me. This morning at 9 am, I called their offices again, spoke with the woman, asked if anyone was going to be coming. They have people on vacation and Dennis is really busy, but, she would get him to call me right back. He did call and he was really rude to me. Told me that I needed to call his "guy" and that he was doing me a favor by even calling me back at all. Then he hung up on me. Turns out that the "guy" is a contractor and does work for other fence companies other than Pasadena Fence. Too bad for Dennis, I have given them referrals in our neighborhood several times and they have installed those fences and gates based on my referrals. There won't be anymore referrals and I will give people that ask a copy of this review AND the name and phone number of my replacement fence company. read more

Why do we buy fences? Lots of reasons but my fence was specifically installed for security reasons. My husband and I are both senior citizens and I was looking for a fence installers I felt like I could trust. Dennis was a friend of my brothers so I reached out to him for assistance. Dennis installed 313 feet of 6' chain link fence in April/May of 2019. Along with the fencing, a 6' walk through gate and a 26' cantilever gate for the driveway was installed with a 1/2 hp Operator (to electrically open/close the cantilever gate). In February of 2020, I started having problems with the cantilever gate closing. It would progress about 4 feet, do a stutter step and then stop. I would try to close it again and it would go forward and the alarm on the 1/2 hp Operator would sound. I would have to go downstairs, reset the alarm, and try again. I called Dennis many times but without a response. I "youtubed" problems like this and learned it might be the chains that work the operator needed to be greased. I bought Lithium grease but it didn't work. I attempted to call Dennis numerous times again but I either received a recording or the phone simply rang with no answer. It's now October 2020 and I asked a neighbor to look at the gate for me. What he found was that one of the large poles holding the cantilever gate in place was moving up and down at least 8 inches and the 1/2 hp Operator was also moving, bringing the grass up with it, in a chain reaction. So we're talking concrete work. The large pole and the 1/2 Operator were not correctly installed with the proper amount of concrete to hold them securely in place to move a 26' cantilever gate. I paid over $11,000 to Dennis for a gate that needs additional concrete. Why/How would I know when it was installed that Dennis didn't follow the specs? Why won't Dennis even respond to my phone calls or emails? It's all a mystery to me but I do know there are other options available to me to find a solution - both civil and legal. I also know that Texas doesn't take lightly someone trying to take advantage of their elderly population. Shame on you Dennis Everett! read more

The owner (Dennis) sends over a crew to my neighbors house to replace an adjoining fence. One guy speaks English. As others have said, they cut corners and produce a sub standard product. They left a bunch of concrete in my yard after cutting the old posts off and this after having to COMPLETELY REBUILD the entire fence due to shoddy construction and being 2 ft into my property on one side and a few inches on the other. That's right. The fence was diagonal. When confronted, the owner went into a rage and made every excuse, never once admitting any fault, even when forced to redo the fence. Trust me....AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. read more
