This review is based on the friendly customer service I have received from John Taylor over the years, He is a a remarkable individual who has class and extensive knowledge of antiques and objects. Highly recommended.

Probably the most bountiful and expansive antique mall in our Pasadena/San Gabriel valley at least. Beautiful or artfully ugly wares, take your pick because it's all here. Some of our favorite dealers reside in this seek and find labyrinth of treasures, everyone exceptionally supportive of one another, that's for sure. If you can't find one thing to leave with, you haven't been a lookie loo long enough; today treated myself - it is my birthday - to an Italian country cookbook and a tiny vase. Love the eclectic sensibility here- truly something for everyone and whatever floats your boat, you'll find it in here as you meander through all the tiny passages and hallways!

$1 book but they are asking $25

Extremely overpriced! Wife and I came in to look at comic books and books. As I was looking at their selection which is sprinkled all throughout the store I noticed the prices were out of control. Something that is typically .50 cents or $1 was $30 to $40 here! I almost thought it must be wrong, but nope!

The biggest, best and highest quality antique center I've ever been in! Plus, parking is ample and free in the adjacent lot. These antiques are in a class of their own and shopping them will make you feel like royalty. Each item is one of a kind and there is such a dazzling array of treasures that it was overwhelming at first. Be prepared to spend an hour or more if you wish to peruse both floors in detail. The prices are fair given that they are truly unique representations of history from all over the world. Many vendors were present to assist and all were kind and courteous. I will return many times to this feast for the senses.

    This place is huge!!

Be forewarned... this is not a typical antique store, but a massive - as in multistory, get lost for a long time - warehouse antique store. If I understood correctly, various dealers have rooms and spaces under the same roof. I saw everything from jewelry to knick knacks to giant home decor - beds, closets, chandeliers, etc. Came here to show a friend who enjoys antique shopping, and the enormity of this place was surprising. It reminded me of Powell bookstore in Portland, except that here, I wasn't expecting so much from the exterior. Minus 1 star for the lack of organization and the high prices. I would recommend categorizing the place, no idea how exactly, but something according to design style, time period... anything. There randomness everywhere, both good and meh! Ideal customers are those with an open mind, with time to kill, and who possess a high credit card limit. I heard someone say the sticker prices may be negotiated though. So if you are any or all of these, this store/warehouse is for you!

Trying on vintage wedding dresses with Morgan at Cream & Ivory.

My fiancé and I came here a couple of times this week and it didn't disappoint either time. The first time we stopped in, we found a bunch of antique bottles we plan to use as wedding decor for a really great deal! Several vendors had sales going on when we stopped in, so that was a lucky find. The staff and vendors greeted us and made sure we knew they were available if we needed any help. They were all very kind and friendly. One guy was so helpful getting the bottles off a high shelf for us and packing them up. And then the woman who checked us out was so sweet as well! We came back today because I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses at one of the booths, Cream & Ivory. Let me tell you, I have scoured the internet for vintage wedding dresses, and I was very impressed with the selection here. I would have been happy with several of the dresses I tried on to be honest, but I did find the perfect one I was looking for! Morgan, the owner of this booth, was so kind, patient, and helpful with getting me in and out of some of the dresses. (FYI: there's a little dressing area with a curtain in the corner to change, but you'll need to make an appointment with Morgan to try on the dresses, as some can be understandably delicate and she can help you carefully change into them.) As someone that feels uncomfortable and out of place in a traditional bridal shop, it was a lot of fun to try stuff on here and felt very relaxed and chill. Morgan is really cool and easy to talk to. She also gave me helpful and honest feedback and wasn't pushy or pressuring in any way, quite the opposite actually. The prices are beyond reasonable, which is so refreshing both in this economy and in the wedding industry. I love that it's important to Morgan to keep some cool vintage wedding gowns accessible in a city like LA. I'm in love with the dress I went home with today and really enjoyed my whole experience! Thank you Morgan, wishing you lots of success with your shop!

Had a couple hrs to kill and decided to try out this place n see what called to me.. the ladies in there were very kind & helpful n so to them here is a star each!!! The fact that I found such cool items and even had an incredible deal had automatically given this place an immediate 5 stars!! That was until a bald fly or should I say a butterfly fell in the soup... As I turned the aisle *Him forcing a smile while nodding* as one goes about their day.... Him: Auhmm T-shirt!!!? Cashier lady: 0h I got him :3 Despite the fact one is walking around w a closed package and a receipt on hand....

Yes I bought this $32 brass lobster

Such a fun way to spend an hour or two in Pasadena! With the epic Rose Bowl flea and a ton of antique and thrift shops, there is really no shortage of treasure hunting in this neck of the woods. I checked out Pasadena Antique Center this past Saturday not quite know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised and he added this to my rotation of spots to shop in the the area. Most (all?) items here are sold in booths by individual vendors, so the selection and prices vary throughout the store. I was pleased to find that prices weren't totally outrageous--this is definitely a place you could score some cool items, even if you're ballin on a budget. Some booths have sales as well, so keep and eye out for those! I scored a cool 70's brass lobster that's now one of my favorite conversation pieces. Parking was easy and free and if you're in the mood to thrift, there's a Goodwill and Salvation Army super close by. There are clean restrooms here and the staff was friendly and helpful. 100% worth a visit!

One of the best parts is that there are over 70 different vendors, so you're really supporting a community of small businesses all in one place. Given that there are a number of dealers represented it should come to no surprise how wide a variety of items can be found here. It ranges from housewares like ceramics and lamps, to clothing, to books to jewelry. You could browse here for an hour and not see half of what they have on offer. I like that, unlike some other antique stores, while there's a lot of things for sale, you can actually navigate the store pretty easily. Big plus in my book. As far as price goes...it's very hard to say. The variety of items is so large, that I'm hard pressed to say whether what's on sale is priced reasonably or not. Definitely a place to explore for an hour.
