As a single mother with just one child, I couldn't ask for more on a rainy day. This is a space where children crawling through 5 can get lost and play independently for quite a while. I've come here with a book and let my own liddle run her course for three hours. You can order lunch from the local delivery restaurants, or bring your own sandwich. The shop sells snacks, water bottles and keurig coffee for a few dollars. It's almost like you're in your own living room and don't mind the mess. Yes, you have to be "socked" so you will be asked to keep your shoes in cubbies. The women who work there will ask you to pick up after your child if it's busy, and I completely understand and have never taken offense to this direction as another reviewer seems to have. He must not be on "kid duty" too often. As for the size, it is small and quaint. Cozy and perfectly accommodating for all the toys. Puzzles, blocks, booms, dress up, life size doll house for starters will blow your mind away. Pretty much looks like it walked right out of Pinterest. Ingrid, the owner made and decorated the store which is a tribute to her creativity. The ballet classes she holds for the little girls are no less than adorably perfect. The staff is friendly and pleasant, always good for some laid back adult conversation to get lost in while the kids are building forts or playing doll dress up in the teepee. Birthday parties are divine and the staff guides you through the set up process in choosing themes, menu, and decorations. Very helpful. Thank you Liddle Bites! You are just what Long Beach needed!

The worker has to check with the manager to see if they will be open and what the hours will be. Okay fine. Wanted to take her here this morning as they did not have a full July 2026 calendar up on the website BUT says Friday July 3 open play from 10am-5pm which is perfect considering it's so hot outside. Thank goodness I didn't pre- purchase a pass. We get there...It was CLOSED! So annoyed with this place. Not sure how they can stay in business operating like this. Hopefully they fix things going forward.

Follow the signs. Thereis parking to the side of the main house. This visit had a tour of plants . There is a pond, fire pit and picnic tables throughout the area.it is a nature preserve park with many native plants along with some for sale. I suggest wearing a hat and sunscreen. While there are paths, sturdy shoes or work boots are good too along with a bottle of water. I did sera sign for bathrooms as well. They have a compost pile on the side.if you happen to have peelings from vegetables feel free to drop them off on your visit and learn how they make black gold for the soil.

We had a group of about 15 Cub scouts there finishing the ferns and animal related topic badge. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

The facilities are clean and the play area is well setup for parents to enjoy a cup of coffee without worrying about the kids. Parking lot outside the door is super helpful. I hosted my son's 5th birthday party at The Children's Social Club on Saturday and could not have been more disappointed. I purchased the Soirée party package, which included all of the bells and whistles and was intended to provide a seamless experience where my family and I simply needed to show up and enjoy the celebration. Unfortunately, that was the complete opposite of what we experienced. My party was scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM, and when I arrived at 4:50 PM, setup was still incomplete. Jacqui, the party planner/manager, was frantically trying to finish the balloon garland, the children's table was not set, and the overall décor was unfinished. My photographer intentionally arrived early to capture photos of the decor before guests arrived, but he was unable to do so because the décor was not completed until approximately 5:30 PM. Guests began arriving promptly at 5:00 PM and were met with staff scrambling to finish setup, including assembling the dessert table that should have already been completed. Rather than apologizing for the delay, Jacqui became defensive and repeatedly told my husband and I that she had planned "million-dollar events" so a party of this size was a piece of cake. She also blamed the party scheduled before ours, stating that they stayed longer than expected and delayed setup for our event. Regardless of the reason, the lack of preparedness was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was also a significant delay with the adult food service. Jacqui immediately blamed the owner for not correctly placing the order and then left in a frantic state to purchase additional food from the restaurant. As a result, my guests did not eat until after 6:30 PM, which was actually when the children were supposed to eat. The owner ultimately extended my party by 30 minutes to accommodate the delay with the food and the fact that the children still had not eaten by 6:30 PM. However, Jacqui presented the extension as though they were doing us a favor, despite the circumstances being entirely caused by poor planning and execution on their end. To add to the frustration, we then felt rushed through key moments of the party, including singing Happy Birthday, cake cutting, and taking photos. One of my guests even commented on the poor level of service, noting that Jacqui appeared visibly overwhelmed and in need of additional support. I have never experienced this level of disorganization and lack of service while hosting an event. Instead of enjoying time with my guests and celebrating my son, I spent much of the evening managing issues related to décor, setup, and food delays. This was not the seamless, stress-free experience that was promised or expected, and it was incredibly disappointing.
