This play space is cute and has a lot of toys for kids to play with. But the staff is extremely rude and downright nasty in the way they speak to both children and parents. The space is also very narrow across the entire length of the play area which makes it difficult to get around without bumping into other people constantly. There were two separate women, one blonde and one brunette who were both very unpleasant to my two year old daughter. But even more surprising, the blonde lady spoke to me in a condescending manner, when she barked at me to take my daughter out of the picture she was taking. I've been bringing my child here since Ingrid opened the shop and have to say that the place is a hidden gem. As a single mother with just one child, I couldn't ask for more on a rainy day. This is a space where children crawling through 5 can get lost and play independently for quite a while. I've come here with a book and let my own liddle run her course for three hours. You can order lunch from the local delivery restaurants, or bring your own sandwich. The shop sells snacks, water bottles and keurig coffee for a few dollars. It's almost like you're in your own living room and don't mind the mess. Yes, you have to be "socked" so you will be asked to keep your shoes in cubbies. The women who work there will ask you to pick up after your child if it's busy, and I completely understand and have never taken offense to this direction as another reviewer seems to have. He must not be on "kid duty" too often. As for the size, it is small and quaint. Cozy and perfectly accommodating for all the toys. Puzzles, blocks, booms, dress up, life size doll house for starters will blow your mind away. Pretty much looks like it walked right out of Pinterest. Ingrid, the owner made and decorated the store which is a tribute to her creativity. The ballet classes she holds for the little girls are no less than adorably perfect. The staff is friendly and pleasant, always good for some laid back adult conversation to get lost in while the kids are building forts or playing doll dress up in the teepee. Birthday parties are divine and the staff guides you through the set up process in choosing themes, menu, and decorations. Very helpful. Thank you Liddle Bites! It is a play place I brought my little 4 year old to. It was run by a lady, whom I forget her name so I'll name her Blondie, but seemed like an eagle watching over her nest. I say that as nice as I possibly can. To be clear: -facilities are nice -toys are played and a bit worn -price is fine Overall, it's a decent place if you don't mind being talked/treated like a little child yourself. Blondie sets some ground rules for the place. Which is acceptable. Clean up after your kid and yourself. It's like a gentleman agreement. But should you break it, like if the place is getting a bit topsy-turvy and you forget to put some toys away. Yah, good luck not getting spoken to like a worthless piece of shit, in front of everyone. Fine, I'll take the responsibility of my actions on this one but it should serve as a cautionary tale to the next father that's looking to relax a bit and take your mind of things, even just for an 10 minutes. After such experience and much debate of writing a non-supportive review I feel ambivalent about recommending this place to my friends. There are better play places to patronize. read more

I thought the space was cute and VERY clean and the toys were perfect for my daughter who is just under one. It was a nice change of pace. It was pretty empty. Two other families. But once one of the moms and her kid left everyone took off their masks because they knew each other. I felt very uncomfortable and left. I would consider going back once COVID is really over but until then I will not go. read more

My 3 1/2 year old absolutely ADORES this place. Our first ever visit was for an event- the Nutcracker by Baby Ballet LI when she was only 2 1/2. It was lovely. Since then, took part the Baby Ballet LI classes and also visit often for open play. Ingrid is wonderful, she is polite and spends the day "cleaning up" and putting toys back in there place constantly, so that they are easy to locate for the children and "grouped" accordingly. This place is great for little ones - very calm and very clean, with a nice and attentive staff. And you can't beat the price! We've taken our 18-m.o. to a couple of different indoor play spaces in Nassau County, and this is hands down the best of them all. read more

Very nice place BUT staff wasn't much help in picking out a place to order from.our first choice only took cash BUT we had to find that out ourselves and the second choice didn't deliver til after 4 BUT restaurant staff didn't help at all by giving relevant info right away. The restaurant didn't say no delivery til after 4 which means we wasted a lot of time ordering with no result . The clerk at Liddle bites though friendly and polite didn't HELP us at all in making a selection of a lunch. She pointed to a pile of menus and that was about it! A little direction on appropriate nearby restaurants would have been helpful. We decided to skip lunch and got fast food on the way home. My GS enjoyed the toys but the space seems a little small. I've been here a few times and never had an issue. Currently it's Ramadan and I wanted to offer prayers quietly in the corner, taking only 2 minutes, but the owner wouldn't allow it. I think it's strange, its a nice place with good toys for the kids, for the owner to be so intolerant. I'm not proselytizing. I don't see why, as she claims "Your God is different than my God," is a reason you wouldn't allow someone to perform their religious obligations. I was shaking and crying and really hurt, I didn't know people were like that here in New York. I was born and raised in Long Island, and I don't think I've ever been treated differently because of my religion the way I have today. I don't want to teach my kids the message of intolerance that she's preaching. I would never say no to anyone praying (quietly and not disturbing to others) in my own place of business; and this is a place of business seemingly open to all. The owner tried to comfort me after seeing how traumatized I was but then proceeded to explain how her god was different than my god. But instead of apologizing to me about her intolerance, she apologized to me about how she made me feel. She tried to make me feel better by giving me a free story night for my kids, but the proof of her intolerance is in her actions and her policies not her empty words. read more

Over the last couple of months, my friend and have have been to a few different play places with our children, ages 1-3. This is BY FAR THE WORST. The place is tiny, which I knew. I called ahead of time to ask how many people they are limiting each open play session to now due to covid. The answer I got was 15 children. My friend and I signed up our children online for open play from 2-5. While we were there there were almost 30 children there and 20-25 adults. I asked the only lady working again, do you guys have a limit here? Her new answer was " our capacity is somewhere around 25-30" . As I said before, I counted around 30 children, give or take 2 (they were running around so it was hard to EXACTLY count) and around 20-25 adults. In addition to the amount of people in there being absolutely insane, the lady was walking around with a dirty rag that smelled like bleach, and was just throwing things into bins without even touching them with this "just for show bleach rag". Avoid this place at all costs during this pandemic. I couldn't put enough antibacterial on my daughter and get her into the bath fast enough when we got home. GROSS read more

I'm so happy we have this place in Long Beach. My kids love coming here. Even my 5 year old can play here for hours. The owner is so nice and she runs the business very professionally. Very pleased with absolutely everything! I had my daughters' birthday party there and they had so much fun! They did not want to leave, that's the only bad thing :D but it was such an amazing place for everyone. And the owner was so kind and had so much patience with all the guests.
