This man has made my wife so uncomfortable, that even after going to the manager and having been told (after a small exchange of words) she would "have a conversation with him" over some very inappropriate comments, my wife does NOT want to go back. This man has hit on my wife on several occasions, attempted to flirt with my wife on several occasions and gone as far as to gauge her reaction to the possibility of him even calling her outside of business using information obtained for strictly business reasons. This man knows very well, and has known, she's married and knows the information given to him was strictly for business and he obviously doesn't care one single iota. When I spoke with the manager, the first response I received read like she was trying to pass the most recent exchange off as a parlance around their loyalty program. It wasn't; and even if it had been, the comments shouldn't have NEVER left this associate's mouth or even entered this associate's mind. That parlance he initiated had zero to do with the loyalty program. I had to have a small exchange and point out specific parts of the conversation and went as far as to let the manager know this is NOT the first time he's done something like this, that he has gotten severely inappropriate SEVERAL TIMES, and this was just the first time I wasn't able to shake my anger at the situation, and only then did she agree the latest comments were inappropriate. Beware ladies; do not give this man that works here your information! I wouldn't ever want to see the same thing happen to you that happened to my wife! She is so uncomfortable with this man and the way some very serious concerns were handled, she doesn't want to go back. Ever. It's a shame the situation was handled, in our opinion, so poorly. There is nothing okay with giving a representative of a company your information for strictly business and them using it (or pretending to joke about using it) for personal reasons without your consent and especially after you've shut them down over it (and them acting like you didn't just shut them down). There is nothing okay with being harassed like my wife was by this man, and very little being done about it. There is nothing okay with getting so very, very inappropriate (as this guy has been) with customers by a representative of a company you're trying to do business with, and essentially being told by a manager that it's okay for them to do. That's what we feel happened in our case. Ladies, please be careful. He appeared to try to use discounts to almost justify, in a weird way, this gross and inappropriate behavior. Example, at one point he had even told her he would give her discounts if she would follow him on twitch, which was also inappropriate from a business perspective at bare minimum, and both her and I felt really super weird and uncomfortable with it. If he's harassing my wife like this, we can't help but wonder if he has harassed or is harassing other ladies like this too. This one associate aside, and it's a shame that one bad apple can spoil the whole barrel, the store itself we enjoyed. It's a nice store, quality products at a reasonable cost. However, given the events with this one associate and all the comments and things he has done and then how it was handled, we won't be returning.

What a nice people work here just been lots of great people that are very friendly and talkative…read morethat helped me and a very helpful Abigail most recently generally, everybody's been great. One note of caution, just be careful make sure that you look at all your items, now that they're offering add-ons just wanna make sure you get what you think you're getting. I didn't buy any this time but in the past I did and I explained that I don't smoke but then I got joints which I just keep me up in glass jar because I don't smoke but people are humans and humans make mistakes so you know it's easy to get upset but even before I left and remind you, this is a couple times before they wouldn't switch it out for me even though I showed them hey look I don't smoke. She gave me the joint. I said that as soon as I walked in the Place and they made me take the joints the add-on for six bucks that they proposition me with. I said, I'll take the gummy cause I don't smoke. I made that abundantly clear. And then when I was leaving two of the girls ganged up on me and made me feel sad like I was trying to get I don't know my dad's senior citizen, discount or something. I don't know. It seemed really cheap and petty like as if I was trying to do something wrong or they're tired of dealing with the fact that their computer system had a problem with my phone number when have you no one ever gave me a solution except today when I dealt with Abigail and the other manager, Abigail actually gave me a card. She didn't pressure me to do it right then in there, but she said hey if you do it now you might get a discount and so I just use my Camera for the picture thing clicked on it and boom it's set up a ticket so it had to wait for the general manager, I believe or one of the supervisors he took $five dollars off my bill that's a lesson for everybody. You can't have unreasonable expectations for people if you offer them a solution and they don't do it then that's on them, but you know it's childish to gang up on a customer ridicule them and then give them the wrong product that they made clear that they didn't want so I called him out. I called him an effing liar and that was extremely rude and I could've called and complained to the manager, but I didn't. I just went to a different dispensary. I'm trying to keep my energy levels high and clean and full of positivity. My dad has cancer and these edible gummy's are the only way he can get somewhat of relief once in a while instead of feeling embraced and loved I felt ridiculed and hated on. I don't know if there's something else going on or what but I did not feel a part of the community that supports the local dispensary one month ago but today I did Abigail and a couple of the other people are very nice and I consider that small hiccup and hope for better times to come keep it short. Keep it simple. And here's another thing always look at the ingredients. I don't like to have seed oils and corn syrup all that garbage that they try to stuff down our throats as we grow up as kids and a lot of these they show off the product, but they don't show the ingredient list which is bogus that should be listed on the website so you don't waste everyone's time when you're at the front desk and I need to look at the ingredient list which makes the most sense you're consuming something you should know what's in it

Two service calls and received excellent service both times…read more My most recent service call was yesterday, February 18. As you know, temperatures were close to zero. Around 4:00 I determined our Amana furnace must not be working. Placed a call to Farley's at 4:12. Service man came out, diagnosed the problem and had to return to the shop to get the part. By 5:30 the furnace was fixed and working properly. Office personnel and service man were very helpful and courteous. I'm sure the service call will be costly, however, a small price to pay at the end of the day with subzero temperatures. Any service call would be expensive. The other service call to Farley's was around 1/23/25 regarding my Maytag washer. Because we like to shop local, we purchased the washer & dryer from our local dealer Knie Appliance, you know the one that always asks you prior to service, "did you buy the appliance here"? Very annoying. You either service or you don't. I told them the code and the issue I was encountering. Because Knie had already replaced a part in October, I felt it may be the same issue. (This call to Knie was around 1/21/25.) Knie told me they would not be able to schedule a service call until the following week. (What?) I was leaving on vacation that weekend for two weeks and could not leave family members here without a washer. I called Farley Appliance and they sent a service guy out. He actually tested the bad part and removed it from the washer but did not have a part with him, and had returned to the shop to check stock. Before Farley's were able to get back with me, my husband called Knie himself and they ultimately came out same day, tested the part that Farley's removed and confirmed it was bad, and fixed the washer. I'm not sure what my husband said but I could tell that the service man that came, who also had come in October and was very pleasant, was not happy this go around. I had to call Farley's back and say it has been fixed by their competitor. Mind you, the office staff who took the call was very understanding and again, courteous. Farley's is actually located about 12 miles away, and although I told them it was okay for them to bill me for the trip and work they had already done, they never sent me a bill. This whole situation was uncomfortable for me at best but Farley's made it less uncomfortable and it is appreciated. This is service as I remember it should be. We already had some dealings with Farley's in the past as we had replaced the microwave that was purchased with the house. At some point in the future, I will be buying a new refrigerator and I will be making the purchase at Farley's. I anticipate we will also be investing in a new furnace and A/C, and plan to shop at Farley's as well. We now have to consider the service aspect in all purchases because, unfortunately, material things no longer last for any extended period of time. Farley's provides great service; we have had nothing but a positive experience with them.

We recently moved back home to Dixon from Los Angeles and were very turned-off by the dispensary…read morehere. I'm not paying $60 for a quarter-ounce of shake hidden in the back of the store that I can't even touch, see, or smell before I buy - and that's after having my identification scrutinized and the information uploaded in their computer to god knows where. So, I've been utilizing an "alternative source" for my marijuana needs. Then, I heard about Smoke Lab in Sterling. I used to drive to Sterling from Dixon for bud in the 80's, so it was a drive I'm familiar with, and I can tell you without any hesitation that it was well worth our drive. Smoke Lab reminded us of the dispensaries in Los Angeles, where we could examine the product before we bought. The jazz-cabbage is all clearly on display and the bud-tender knew exactly what she was talking about. We got a fantastic deal on quality flower & we will be driving to Smoke Lab from now on when we're in the market. This is what I'd *hoped* the smoke stores would be like in Illinois when marijuana was legalized, but in true Illinois fashion, the criminals in Springfield priced the licensure where only the same parasite-class who'd kept it illegal for a century could afford the license to open a dispensary - and the dispensary in Dixon is a perfect example of the over-regulated, corporate-controlled result. Smoke Lab gives me hope.
