Although the stars didn't align - they are booked with weddings, staging, etc. - she made some excellent recommendations for other rental companies. The furniture items they offer are beautiful: furthermore, the rental packages are competitive for the Chicago area (in some cases, a better deal). In hindsight, I wish I would've reached out sooner: but, I feel as though I've gained a wealth of knowledge in speaking with Katie. I would recommend Bowery & Bash for rental needs! Keep in mind, their work speaks for itself and they do book out. If you intend to rent for a home or event, reach out as soon as possible.

From the very first call to setup and subsequent pickup of the tent, chairs, linens, etc... after the event... Everything was flawless. Chris and his team had it all covered from start to finish. A few things to note since this was being setup in a back yard of a home... -They use barrels of water to secure the tent if spikes are out of the question. This did matter since some competitors use cement blocks that we did NOT want transported over grass for fear of "ruts". As it turns out we did not need weights so it was a moot point but again could have been an issue with competitors. -They will place the order for underground location of utilities (Julie). We jumped the gun and placed the order with JULIE ourselves, but this is part of their standard operating procedure when needed. All equipment was clean and in perfect condition, delivered. and picked up on time. All instructions communicated clearly and concisely. This company is run professionally by good people who really do care about their customers and their guests. Highly recommend heartland. You will not be disappointed.

I wanted to rent an 8-person table and chairs for a dinner and Tablescapes was the only place with…read morea small enough delivery minimum ($175) that I could make it work. Going in person to view the inventory was easy. The delivery drivers were very friendly, willing to wait 10 minutes since we weren't home when they arrived. The table looked great, the chairs were reasonably comfortable for a rental, and the tablecloth was really fun and interesting. My only challenges were COVID masking at the main location (delivery drivers were great) and long delivery windows. In October of 2021, so when breakthrough cases were known but not quite pervasive, the staff declined to wear a mask even when we asked if they could. They did say they were vaccinated, but I felt uncomfortable. For the delivery window, they provided a time of 9am-3pm. I called the day before and was told we would get a shorter delivery window the following morning and a driver would call 1 hour out. But I only got my revised delivery window of 10am-2pm at 9:30am the next morning and the driver arrived at 9:52am and hadn't been told told to call ahead, so it was stressful racing back home.
