I was desperate looking for an alterations shop to sew a patch on a beret for my stepfather's funeral later that day. There was nobody from Savannah to Statesboro that was either open, or was willing to do this on such short notice. I stumbled upon The Embroidery Shoppe's phone number in the phone book and as a last ditch effort called them to see if they'd be willing to sew this patch on. I spoke with Christy and she said it's not what they usually do but to come down and she'd help me figure this out. I went down to the shop, and Christy sewed the patch on in a matter of minutes. She was such a lifesaver, and so friendly and helpful. I grew up in Brooklet, but moved to the West Coast when I was 18, so Southern Hospitality is something I really miss. I experienced Southern Hospitality at it's finest with my experience at The Embroidery Shoppe. I can't say enough about this little place. If you're ever in need of Embroidery services, please give this little shoppe business. https://www.facebook.com/TheGreekEmbroideryShoppe

They did not have the part in stock, because it was a fairly uncommon part. TheY offered to order it, but they also called a local competitor firm and found it for me in-stock. I did not ask them to do that--they just offered without being asked. When I ever need anything plumbing-related--they are the people I will always go to first. Thanks guys for the GREAT SERVICE!

I'll start out with three tips…read more 1. Bring gnat bug spray. If you're sitting around the pool area, they'll start to eat you alive. 2. Buy your tickets online. The line can get pretty long at the front, but the online ticket line takes 30 seconds. 3. Bring sun tan lotion of something to cover you from the sun. If you're staying for longer than 3 hours, I'd highly recommend looking into getting one of those cabanas. My 2 year old had the time of his life in this place. There was a lot of things to do there for kids his age. He enjoyed the wave pool, the little kid slides, the kids squirt area and of course the lazy river. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here with kids. They don't allow outside food or drinks, but they do allow one "water" bottle per person. The food is priced average and it's not too bad. The pizza slices were like $6 or $7 per slice, but on slice was about a quarter of a pie. This seems like it'd be a great place for a little kids party. I wish they had more shaded areas or pools that were shaded. With a newborn it's important to keep them out of the sun, so a small area for them would be nice to play in a pool.
