I was desperate looking for an alterations shop to sew a patch on a beret for my stepfather's funeral later that day. There was nobody from Savannah to Statesboro that was either open, or was willing to do this on such short notice. I stumbled upon The Embroidery Shoppe's phone number in the phone book and as a last ditch effort called them to see if they'd be willing to sew this patch on. I spoke with Christy and she said it's not what they usually do but to come down and she'd help me figure this out. I went down to the shop, and Christy sewed the patch on in a matter of minutes. She was such a lifesaver, and so friendly and helpful. I grew up in Brooklet, but moved to the West Coast when I was 18, so Southern Hospitality is something I really miss. I experienced Southern Hospitality at it's finest with my experience at The Embroidery Shoppe. I can't say enough about this little place.
