I placed an online order on Tuesday for pickup on Friday at 10:30 am for a work event. Received several text messages that my order was ready during the week. Arrived Friday @ 10:45 am to pick up and my order was not ready or found. The manager, Dell was very caring and apologized. He stated he would process a refund. I didn't have the time to wait any longer, so I told him I would return Monday for the refund to be processed. By the time I arrived back to work, Dell was calling to tell me he found part of my order. Two items were out of stock. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience and that he would delivery my items. This is an easy go to for party supplies because I know, most likely, they'll have what I need. The downside is sometimes their customer service, long lines, and an occasional poor attitude make shopping here unpleasant. Probably, their star rating for me would teeter between a 3 or 4 stars over the years. Because they carry every color in the rainbow, and more, of paper products and matching plastic cups, utensils, straws, etc it's easy to color coordinate football tailgates, kids parties or any celebration. It's definitely time to party. With Valentines Day and birthdays around the corner, I figured I'd pop into Party City and see what I've been missing. From Valentines Day and St Patty's day to all the niche birthday themes kids could want, the store was easy to navigate and staff was helpful dealing with the sea of balloon options they have. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. Went to pick up a "curbside" order today. I did the pre-check-in to let them know I was on the way. Next, I did the regular curbside check-in, including my car description and location. More thank 20 minutes later, no employee had been to my car. I called the office and, after being transferred around, I was asked for my car description and and location. Obviously, they are not checking their curbside notifications. The final straw was when a sales associate named William brought the items to my car. No mask in sight bi asked him to put on a mask. He pulled his sweatshirt over his mouth. I asked him again to please put on a mask. He takes one out of his pocket and puts it on- nose exposed. I hope their manager, "David", sees this and makes the appropriate improvements. The only reason I go to the party city is because it's the only balloon place in town. They are extremely slow with their service-there is no sense of urgency with any of their staff. I appreciate that they showed up to work with the current employee shortage, but really.... When I have to wait 30 minutes to get 12 balloons blown up that's not customer service. And one employee is behind the counter in socks with no shoes. It's a painful experience. read more

This particular location is okay, but not the best. I went looking for some unicorn party supplies for an upcoming ten year-old's birthday party. Specifically, the "magical unicorn" collection they carry. They only had a sliver of the collections items. I was mostly looking for the banner and piñata but unfortunately they didn't have it. Aside from that, it's just a regular party city, they have tons of party supplies that will cater to just about any party. Unfortunately it lacked what I needed. I will have to order everything only with a $9 shipping fee which I feel is a bit pricey, compared as to most shipping fees of $3-$7. But then again it is party city & almost everything is pricey. read more

Wow worst customer service. Not that busy. Still you ignore customers needs. Asking us to ask someone else and they're ignoring us for no good reason. This is the 3rd time we have had issues here. Normally we don't complain about places. This by far is one place we will never give our money to ever again. read more

Terrible customer service, nothing like feeling like you're inconveniencing the employees by buying products they sell. 3 balloons took 20 minutes and 3 trips back and forth between the register and the balloon station. Staff is not friendly at all! The young girl who rung us up had no personality at all. We happened to visit this location on graduation day (our bad) but there were 5 associates working by balloons and only one person helping at the counter. Employees standing around talking no manager supervising staff. Drove 45 minutes from Bluffton, SC to look for a Halloween costume for my son. Asked for one costume got a princess costume that did not have the number I told him on it. Asked for another costume out of stock. Asked for a different costume got it and it was missing things that were supposed to be included. The boy said it doesn't include assoceries although the printed sign says what it includes so I went back and said that. He said that one doesn't include accoceries they will give you a discount at the register. I sat the costume on a cart in front of the 5 teenagers that were standing around talking and said I didn't want it. As I walk away they proceeded to talk about me. I returned and said excuse me?? Stunned... all they could do was say it doesn't come with accoceries... ITS NOT AN ASSOCERY IF IT IS INCLUDED AND CLEARLY PRINTS THAT!!! read more
