Came in from 30 minutes away for my daughters Bluey themed birthday racked up 200 dollars in supplies and was omw to check out. I purchased a 4 pack of Bluey themed foil balloons and the lady tells me it will be an hour wait... to blow up... 4 balloons. There were 3 ladies standing there talking in the helium station so I asked politely "I only have 4 balloons cant someone just blow them up really quick please?" I find myself in need of party supplies on a regular basis. If it's not for work, then it's definitely for my nephew's birthday or Halloween. There's just always something going on. I swing by here every now and then to grab random things I might need and balloons. This location of Party City is at Easton, right next to a Petsmart over by TJ Maxx and DSW. There's tons of parking right out front and it doesn't tend to fill up as much as the other areas of the shopping complex. Now, on to the balloons! They have an enormous selection, seriously something for every occasion. I've grabbed birthday balloons, giant numbered balloons, balloons of my own that need filled, and then some. If you need balloons for anything, this place is your spot. They got you! Now, when it comes to the basic party necessities (plates, napkins, cups, decorations, etc.) they have tons of colors to choose from and even character and themed selections. They also have an enormous candy room, which is perfect for building your own party favors. I believe I've even noticed costume supplies and cake toppers. Lastly, when it comes to service it can be hit or miss. I've been in there and got helped right away. But I've also been there and needed to hunt down help in order to find what I need. I have been coming here for years. I've never had bad service. Everyone has always been helpful. This last time though...guy that answered the phone said, "yeah?" And he didn't have a clue and couldn't answer my simple question. I got frustrated and told him never mind. The bathroom is disgusting (see pictures). With COVID's strict Health Department rules I'm surprised they get away with this. Very disappointed this time around. read more

I must say, I was impressed. My entertaining calendar has really slowed down. At my peak, I was in so many party stores around Columbus, as well as on the web. Unfortunately that left you going to multiple stops for each niche item. This visit occurred 2 weeks before Halloween. So I got to see their high volume season. Staff was everywhere, and well marked in bright vests and name tags. Several offered assistance, and walked me to the location. Very friendly. That would be tough with so many kids just pulling merchandise off the racks, and relocating it to the wrong spot. I overheard one budget minded mother, helped with just some princess accessories, and suggestions, rather than the entire costume dress ensemble. She was elated. I was shopping with a party theme in mind. I came in with a printed pickup ticket from items I ordered over the website from this store. They have a specific well marked register for pickup. However the mgr chose not to dig through this large bin of bagged orders. Apparently he found it quicker to go to an aisle and grab the items in less than 2mins. I couldn't help but browse this store. The list of specific party themes is huge. Most have large category signs displayed for easy viewing from the ends of the aisle. They have a Candy row that included so many nostalgia sweets. Do you have specific party colors? They have M&Ms bulk separated by color. "No brown M&Ms". Find place setting and decor items by color or occasion. I have never seen so many balloon choices on display. That's not all. More in books and bins, on hand. A table in chairs caught my attention. Then I saw it was to create and design custom invitations that can be ready in 48hrs. How great is that for the busy parent trying to make a kids event special? So many one stop items, but they fell just short of perfect for me. Two items I needed were missing. Pretty common too. They offered alternatives, but just weren't right. Wandered in looking for some paper for a project, but not really sure what I wanted. Service was great, from a couple of different people, and they pointed me in some possible directions. Plus, there is so much here that I found some things just by wandering. They have items for all kinds of parties, pretty well organized by type. Lots of things you'd think of, some you'd never imagine. Some Xmas stuff off to one side. I'll definitely keep this in mind. I rec'd an email stating my order was ready but decided it was best to call first. Of course when I called the girl I was speaking with was yelling across the foor to see if it was ready. Instead of asking for my order number I had to tell her what colors of the 12 balloons I had order and was put on hold. Another girl came on (still yelling/laughing loudly going on in the background) and asked for my order number then I was put on hold again. After several minutes she comes back on to tell me it's not ready yet. It would be a couple more hours. I went to the store several hours later to pick up my order and grab a few other items. I'm not sure what has happened to this store but it was FILTHY. There was trash in every aisle of the store and at the registers. All my life I've never seen a store so dirty. There was very little merchandise to choose from, half the shelves were empty. When we were checking out there was only 1 girl on register which was fine because there were no lines, until the register started giving issues. She said hold on and walked away. We never saw her again. We were left just standing there. Looking around for help a girl at the balloon station yells over she can help. Half my items were still behind the counter were the girl was scanning them. This store is definitely not what it used to be I and really can't see mysef going back. Amazon/Kroger for me. Oh, and the order was for 12 balloons (special sale), only got 10. Didn't realize this until I was home. read more

Purchased some helium foil balloons and confetti balloons that cost me over $50, they ended up deflating less than 24rs later. Such a waste of money. Dollar store balloons last months, and are a fraction of the price. I wished the party city ones would have lasted longer so my friend could have enjoyed her bday. read more

It seems that no matter which Party City I go into they are always a mess. We were able to find what we were looking for but had to carry it because there were no carts. Once we got in line for balloons we had to wait twenty minutes until the woman filling the balloons let us know that we need to check out and pay for them before she would fill them. We got exactly what we wanted, but it took longer than expected. It's the best place for party supplies, but not my favorite place to go. read more

This is a great place for affordable party supplies. They have just about everything for any occasion. They also have a great selection of balloons and party decor. But their selection of greeting cards is really pretty cheesy and lacking. You can find table clothes, silverware, plates, napkins, and cups in just about any color. This is a great place for supplies for a kid's birthday party. Disney princess, mickey mouse, etc...it's there. They even sell some small toys and coloring books for $1-3, not bad if you want to grab a few small gifts. They also have seasonal decorations and Halloween costumes. There's also a huge candy selection and other small trinkets. Easy place to go to make some goodie bags for a party too. This is certainly worth checking out when you throw your next party! I gave 3 stars because a lot of sections seemed disheveled, employees weren't real helpful, and two of them just stood there watching literally 10 people wait in line with only 2 registers open. That made my expereince annoying, but I did get all that I needed. read more

If you need party supplies, balloons, or a costume, then Party City is where it's at. I've tried going to some of the local party supply stores, but they can really be a bit unreliable. I can almost always find exactly what I'm looking for at Party City. Sure, it's at Easton, and there's nothing really personal or fantastic about this place, but the prices and the selection are great. read more

The whole point of party city is to prep for special events and celebrations, if your cashier cannot be kind and helpful, she should not work there. May not shop there anymore because of this. My daughter is always begging to go into Party City. Well I finally had the occasion to go today and I won't be going back. The store is well stocked and full of all your party needs but the staff wasn't very friendly or even pleasant. There was one staff person that was helpful and friendly enough but everyone else just seemed miserable. I don't need a red carpet welcome but a smile goes a long way and looking like you don't completely hate your job goes a long way as well. Even my child commented that for a store so happy the staff sure didn't seem so...This was my first visit and my first impression and I just didn't feel welcomed enough to return. read more

This is a great place to purchase your holloween costume needs or party needs. It's 10/29 and I still had not purchased my son's holloween costume. They have an entire wall full of costumes for girls, boys, women and men. Perfect for young kids who have a zest for action. Awesome extras such as toy guns, swords, funky glasses. Even if you have no idea what you'd like to be for holloween you will definitely walk out of there with something. The store was packed even at 8pm at night but there were plenty of staff to assist with questions and costume needs. The checkout went quickly especially since they had 5 people checking customers out. The line was long but didn't take any more than 5 minutes waiting in line. And standing there with a two year old, that was excellent. They also have enormous amount of balloons for parties/birthdays. Multiple rows dedicated for little items to make party bags and party favors. Located at Easton next to Banfield pet hospital. Plenty of parking and a security guard at the door who is very polite. I'm not one you will typically find in the party store. It's the smell of "cheap" plastic that gets me...and I despise Halloween masks but that's another story. But when in need of some last minute cheesy decorations and plastic table covers we figured we mine as well head in here as a store named Party City is sure to have what we sought. It did. And then some. With aisles that skim the ceiling, this location could easily feel claustrophobic if it were not fairly well organized by theme, color, and or general use. Nevertheless, staff members were not confident in the location of basics like paper bowls. I cut some slack as there are numerous items to keep track of, but the delivery of unhelpful information is important. A blank look is awkward for both of us. What I appreciated most was the offer to blow up the package of balloons with some syrupy looking stuff that supposedly keeps them hovering for 24 hours. Who knew? read more

The customer service is terrible! I called and asked about a specific product, and was reassured that they had it in stock. I then drove 45 minutes to the store only to find out there wasn't a single one on the premises. But the thing that chapped my tukis was the fact that the clerk and manager didn't even offer an apology or try to find one for me at another of their locations in the city. They simply didn't care that I had just driven an 1.5 round trip for absolutely nothing because of their mistake. I wasn't a fan anyway, and now I will never darken their doorstep again. read more

I ordered 3 class of 2018 red star balloons online yesterday morning from Party City. The website said the 3707 Easton Market, Columbus, OH 43219 store had them in stock. When I got home and opened the taped and stapled shut bag, I discovered that I was given 3 plain red star balloons. I called the store and was told all they could do was refund me but only if I went back to the store. They didn't lower the price to match the balloons they gave me instead of the ones I ordered, they didn't call me to let me know they didn't have the ones I ordered in stock, they didn't tell me when I was there paying for them. They let me find out after I had gotten home and untaped/unstapled the bag they put them in. My brother's graduation party is in 2 days. I am furious. read more

This was a bad experience. I do catering and needed supplies for an event. It was Saturday morning. 5/31/14. They appeared to be fully staffed with people stocking shelves... blowing balloons. BUT... two very slow cashiers. Only 2. There was a line of about 18-20 people waiting for checkout. One cashier appeared to be a manager who was slow as molasses - older guy baldish head. Then there was this cashier who after 20 minutes waited on us. Solace or something like that was her name. She was on the phone when she SHOULD have been waiting on customers. We complained about the wait. She didn't even apologise. She pursed her lips and was tossing our merchandise down hard as she rang it up. She was cold as ice. (just like the so called manager who could see we were upset and did nothing. Why couldn't they pull people off the floor to cashier? Why did it take two other people to "slowly" blow up baloons? This store is unorganized and poorly managed. No...they don't even care about their customers. I have nothing really good to say about this store. read more
