I've been having to buy a lot with Party City lately, at this location because of upcoming weddings, showers, and other special occasions. They have a really great selection of party decor, or really whatever it is that you're looking for. All of the aisles are clearly labeled, and every aisle has its own theme. So everything, in my opinion, it's super easy to find! They also have a tremendous selection of balloons! I've been to some other locations and they have half the selection, but this location has probably about over 200+ different balloons to choose from. Depending on what you're looking for, their prices are just about the same as any other party city. I was able to get to decor for about $30 for a baby shower. Not too shabby! The only thing that I've picked up on, is that they could probably use another cashier at the front. Every time I've been in there's only been one, I've never had to really wait really long, but with two people upfront it would be more efficient. They are easy to find, just located off of Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach. They are closest to the intersection of Congress and Old Boynton Road. They do have other things in that plaza, they also have a Petsmart, Barnes & Noble, bed, bath and beyond, Old Navy,... There's also the Ale house, so if you're in the area you can always grab lunch or do some more shopping! Happy Planning! read more

We stopped by here last month after reading that the entire chain of stores was going out of business. We thought we'd check out what was on sale at the time and if we needed anything for a future party, or dress up event, etc. As it turned out, they were just starting to put their stock on sale. And this store is huge and has an enormous amount of inventory. They have a little bit of everything for any kind of event from a birthday to an anniversary and even Halloween costumes. Along with party favors, candy, wrapping paper, etc. etc. etc. We wound up browsing the aisles and we did buy a few things, but not much. At the time, they were just beginning their sales and prices on most items were still a bit high for things that we really didn't need right away. I'm not sure if they're still open, but as a few weeks have gone by that if by now they still are open, I'm sure the sales discounts will be much higher than when we went. Unfortunately, you'll have to stop by to see if they're still open. (There's no phone number listed on the yelp app.) read more

When the Party City doesn't stock the lower shelves, please don't try reaching up to grab your own off their backup supplies. This is apparently a no-no and the rude girl behind the counter will literally yell at you that customers aren't allowed to do that, then stand there cutting balloon strings while staring at you waiting for her to come 4 minutes later and do what you could have done in 4 seconds. The best part was when I walked directly up to the counter to pay and she went back to playing with balloon string until I asked for help checking out. Not worth the time or money, I won't be back. read more

Party City? More like party with almost no inventory. This might be one of the worst Party City stores out there yet I'm a hypocrite since I have been to this location multiple times in the past. I guess I just don't learn my lesson or I need last minute things. So one weekend I had a Hawaiian themed party and I got most of my arrangements from other stores and online, however I was missing some necessary items. Well this store had limited things in each category and they don't keep extra stock in the back of the store etc. I needed Hawaiian necklaces they only had 6 left, I needed place setting holders (the design I liked only had 4 left)....They hardly have employees and the two employees which are in the store are ringing at the cash register so your basically on your own. If you like party city, I would recommend shopping online or going to a different location because this location is bare minimum in every category such as customer service, inventory, products etc!~ read more

All the staff is so helpful and kind. They do their best with the support that they do lack. The store is usually very clean. Stock shelves aren't always full but what can you expect when there's only one or two people working. read more

i called ahead to get balloons for my best friend of 14 years going away bed party for college. the lady on the phone not only lied to me about her name but also lied about the wait time and availability to inflate the balloons . when arriving we were given false information about our balloons not being set aside and although we called ahead so our balloons would be inflated they told us the wait would be over an hour. Daniella who lied about her name was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable and lied to . this took 30 minutes out of out set up time due to false information. if you need party city the one in royal palm was a lot nicer and honest. read more

This place is a damn joke. I went in and needed one balloon. There was only one person ahead of me and someone in the line for the register with ONE person working. She finished up the lady she was with and proceeded to take the man at the register which was wtvr even though I was waiting already first. I stayed patient and let her finish him as the employee told me "be right back I'll be with you in a minute" thinking that she would take him and then come back to me. Not to my surprise more people got in line and I thought she was going to come back after the first man, no, she continued to take 3 more people first!! So that's a total of 4 people she took before me after knowing that I should've been next to the First Lady getting balloons!! Now I'm fuckin pissed. 30mins has elapsed and I'm still standing there as I see a so called manager just walking around and not doing shit!! All that manager was doing was talking to guest while a line forms and the one employee taking all the people waiting for the register and I'm sitting there like a dumb ass. I then got up and left and told the manager that she's taken 4 people ahead of me while I'm sitting there waiting for ONE balloon. I wish I could give this store a negative star!! read more

I was a bit disappointed with this Party City. When I walked through the entranceway this establishment appeared to be in dire need of a remodeling or at the very least needs its floors to be refurbished. I needed Pokémon decorations for a party and when the kind sales associate walked me to the aisle I needed, it was dismal, at best. The same goes for all of the other party themes, not a whole lot to choose from. Sadly, I will not be returning to this Party City for my future party planning needs. read more

They have anything for any event. I've been coming here quite frequently since the holidays are coming up and the parties won't stop happening. Hey, it's not a bad thing ;) They have a great selection of balloons to choose from and you can preorder them if you want to. Just tell them the day and time you want to pick them up by after paying for them and they'll be ready for you by that time. They also give a discount on holiday things after a holiday passes. The only catch is that you have to store it away until next year. Thrifty spending at its finest! The customer service and staff is very helpful and quick at checking everyone out. read more

I placed an order for curbside pickup because when I shopped around for the items I needed their prices were the best. I waited a few short minutes when I arrived but this is Christmas week so I understand. The order was right the product was perfect and the prices were great. This is my first time trying Party City and I place another order today because how well they did yesterday. I know it's tough getting staff right now and some of the other comments were that they didn't have enough people on but maybe a little more understanding from people and kindness. read more

Holy madness!! I was on a mission looking for a wig and the store was in chaos. I didn't find the wig I was looking for and ended up changing my costume idea. Friday night, waited in line for 45 minutes and the line wasn't moving. Only one cashier, he kept walking (ever so slowly) to the balloon area to calmly talk to the guy filling balloons about orders, I assume. The manager; Janae, calmly walks to the front to talk to the cashier, the cashier is incapable of speaking and working at the same time so again everyone is stuck waiting while they have a conversation. People in line were getting rowdy and the manager says "I'm multitasking" CLEARLY she was not, because she wouldn't open another cash register. She keeps distracting the already slow cashier making him even slower than I thought was humanly possible! Worst customer service and managing I've ever seen. That woman can't manage speaking and talking at the same time, let alone a store! read more

I have been here a couple of times and although I have always been able to find what I need, the store and it's service leaves much to be desired. Each time that I've been here the store seems a bit dirty/messy, which could be understandable with the amount of people walking through each day. But after several times going there, it makes me question the quality of their products. As for service, their staff is often rude or don't know where things are when asked. I was last there on Halloween. Luckily, I was expecting a crowd and wasn't in a hurry, but it seems I was the only one in a good mood. The check out line took about 20 minutes to get through and most patrons were asking why there were only 2 registers open, etc. While the employees/manager could have addressed this issue in several different ways, they mostly ignored the patrons or argued with them. They definitely have a large stock of party stuff, but don't go in with high expectations. read more

I have to come here every weekend to buy balloons for my store. Every time I come I have to spend about 30 minutes waiting. They never seem to have enough employees working. They also never have the balloons I need and have to settle for random things. (I need 3 white and 3 red Mylar circle balloons). You would assume that this would be a staple of a party store, however I have to get stars or triangles or something else. The employees also always seem annoyed at the fact that I have asked for balloons, making me feel like my request is outlandish. You work at a party supply store, I'm asking for balloons not steaks. I can not wait until I no longer have to come into this place. read more

I called 40 minutes before I got to the store to make sure they had the item I needed in stock.... the girl on the phone told me they had it so I drove 30 minutes to the store just to get there and find out they didn't even have it. They charge extra for balloon weights so I didn't get one & lost my balloons while struggling with my moms wheelchair. I went back in to get more (yes they charged me) only to be told they have cheap weights but "they can't remember for everyone". When I asked for the manager I found out it was the rude balloon lady who didn't offer my mom (in a wheelchair) the weight since she was the one getting the balloons while I got other things. There's a special place for managers like that & I hope she ends up there. read more

Rude staff. One of the girls at the cash register threw down a helium balloon in disgust when I said I didn't want it (it was expensive). I asked for another one which had the sticker price on it. But when she rang it up, the price was $2.00 higher. It was the same story with some other stuff - sticker price says one thing and at the cash register it's a higher price. The girl did nothing to clarify the difference in price. So we asked to see the manager, but she didn't want to call him and continued to rudely insist that the items cost whatever she had rung them up for. Finally, the manager happened to walk by and he did reduce the price. I mean, isn't it the staff's job to clarify prices? And what about a "hello" or a smile instead of dour, unhappy faces at the cash register? This is basic customer service. All in all, a very unpleasant experience which left us feeling like it was our fault that we wanted to clarify prices. Very disappointed. read more

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I'm not going to go into details but something needs to be done about the staff.
