We didn't have a mechanic at the time so we took our car to him. He told us we needed a new engine. He could get us a used one for about 800 off an alero but then he needed more parts to make everything fit. We knew nothing about cars. Just nodded paid. Got it done. Over 1500 dollars later we have a car back. It still doesn't run well and is still leaking, but we are assured it's in tip top shape. Fast forward almost 2 years when the engine dies. Our new and very trusted mechanic informed us it's the original engine. That's right. We paid 800 for an engine we never got. Of course all this time later they won't do anything for us even though they are crooks. I'd watch my back with these guys. Ask for original parts at bare minimum. Know you actually get what you pay for.

When I questioned that amount, bc it didn't reflect what I was researching online, they said they didn't feel capable of handling my issue bc they only had one rack and it would mean they couldn't work on any other cars. The owner referred me to Warner Kia in Parkersburg, WV. Paid over $300 to have car towed there to learn that I only needed a new injector for $556.33 and I went ahead and got new spark plugs for $220 since they were easy to access after the disassembling they had done. Total of parts and labor came to $1422.79, which I'm sure some of you will recognize, was still an overcharge, but not nearly as bad as what Sunny's tried to screw me out of. Don't trust them.

After finding a Tahoe listed at an advertised price, I went through the process of negotiating and came to an agreement. A signed purchase agreement was sent to me reflecting that agreed-upon price -- I thought we had a deal. The very next day, I received a new signed purchase agreement with the price increased by $5,000 -- with zero explanation or justification for the change. When I pushed back and asked them to honor the original agreed-upon price, the dealership refused to move forward at the price we had already committed to in writing. This is a textbook bait and switch. A signed purchase agreement is not a suggestion -- it's a commitment. To reverse course the next day and demand thousands more is deceptive, unprofessional, and frankly unacceptable. I wasted my time, my energy, and my trust on a dealership that clearly does not operate in good faith. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Dunning Motor Sales. If they'll pull this with me, they'll do it to you too. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually honors their word.

I wanted to give my business to a local place back home (partly because a good friend of mine was a salesman there). But their prices are astronomical compared to everywhere else. I was looking at a Ford Edge that had 16,000 miles. I found the same vehicle up here with less miles and it was so much cheaper. The SUV at their dealership was $3,500 more than the other. That is a LOT of money. Every vehicle I compared was thousands more at Dunning. And then they told me I'd have to have it serviced there or they wouldn't cover anything. Needless to say I bought a vehicle up here due to cost. And then I found out they fired their best salesman for absolutely nothing. It sounds to me like the other salesmen couldn't stand the fact that this guy outsold them by a huge margin, and he had to go. This salesman sold multiple vehicles every week and he was sacked. That's a sh*tty way of doing business. I would have loved to buy from a place where I grew up, but this place really sucks. And if you look at the other reviews??? They obviously have bad business practices.

My insurance company called B&B and before I knew it (or could eat the sandwich I had picked up in Cambridge, Jeff was calling to tell me he'd be there shortly. Ten minutes later he arrived and put my truck on his flatbed. After dropping the truck at Walmart, he waited and let me go inside and talk to a manager, then he kindly gave me a ride to a local hotel. Definitely recommend when you need friendly, prompt assistance!
