I was told my car would be worked on and that if there was something wrong with it, I would be informed. Instead, they kept my car for TWO MONTHS, while I continued paying for insurance and dealing with the inconvenience of not having my vehicle. After all that time, I was still left feeling like nothing had actually been accomplished. My experience dealing with Rus was especially awful. He was rude, constantly yelling, and extremely difficult to communicate with. I have never dealt with someone running a business who made me feel so uncomfortable and disrespected. I was given promises that were not followed through on, and the entire situation felt incredibly dishonest and unprofessional. Two months of keeping someone's car, making promises about working on it, and then leaving them dealing with the consequences is completely unacceptable. A business should communicate honestly, treat customers with basic respect, and actually follow through on what it promises. Absolutely terrible experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a car here to do your homework, get everything in writing, and think twice before trusting this place with your money or your vehicle.

I met with them on Friday to discuss repairs to my car. They gave me a fair price, and everything…read moreseemed fine. Unfortunately, I became sick over the weekend to the point where I couldn't attend classes, go to work, or even get out of bed. On Tuesday, they called asking when I would bring my car in for a paint match. I explained that I was sick and couldn't come, but they insisted that I had to come either Tuesday or Wednesday. When I explained that I physically couldn't make it, they became aggressive, started yelling at me, and threatened to throw my belongings onto the street if I didn't show up. They accused me of lying and claimed that I had agreed to come on Tuesday. I acknowledge that we initially discussed Tuesday, but they had also told me that the paint job wouldn't be ready until the following week. I wasn't trying to back out of our agreement. I was simply sick and unable to leave my bed. I repeatedly explained my situation and pleaded with them to give me some flexibility. I told them I would come as soon as I was physically able, but I couldn't promise a specific day that week because I didn't know when I would recover. Instead of showing any understanding, they continued yelling, hung up on me, and stopped answering my calls. I genuinely don't understand what I did to deserve this treatment. I was respectful, honest about my circumstances, and willing to follow through as soon as I could. I don't believe that being sick justifies being yelled at, accused of lying, or threatened. What makes this even more upsetting is that I'm a college student paying for these repairs entirely out of pocket. I can't help but feel that they're treating me this way because they believe I'm in a vulnerable position and won't stand up for myself. I seriously doubt they would speak to a higher-paying customer this way. I was simply asking for some understanding while I recovered from being sick. I don't think that was unreasonable, and I certainly don't think the way I was treated was fair or professional.

My father swears by this shop and after having had to have some work after an idiot rear ended me I decided this was the place to go. You can tell this place will take good care of your mechanical metal baby and has a passion for his craft. The free estimates are a god send. I have been places where they'll charge you $50.00 or more for them to even glance in the direction of your car, but not here. I had the opportunity to sit in the small waiting room, surrounded by hundreds of model cars and Thank You notes, while he made some calls. Tim was trying hard to find the proper bumper for a Beetle that needed work. Much of the search does take place on-line. The insurance company that took care of my car even sent an email to Blackie's informing them to look out for my business. The only reason I didn't give this business a 5 was because of the inconvenient hours. They close around 5 Mon-Friday. At the very least I currently have my dad nearby to get the car for me, otherwise I'd have to use sick time from work just to take care of my baby. But she'd be worth it.

After that the secretary & owner had a attitude & nothing was their fault . Awful paint work full of dirt & fish eyes , runs , nibs , peeling clear coat . Cut lots of corners to make some extra money . Got paid to do things by the insurance company that they didnt do properly ( insurance fraud ) . They play these games were they want you to pick your vehicle up after they are closed so they can avoid you . After they fixed it the second time I go to pick it up after 5 of course when they are closed . The battery is dead in it from them working on it & that's how they gave it back ? Terrible customer service , the worst I have ever seen . Avoid this place at all costs is my advice I learned the hard way !
