The car went into 'limp' mode in St Clairsville, OH and I was able to drive to the GM dealer. Unfortunately the GM/Chevrolet dealer said they could not work on Kia's and suggested Jamie's Garage. I went to Jamies where he diagnosed it as cylinders 3 and 4 were mis firing but was booked solid and not able to make the repairs that day. Jamie drove me to the Enterprise rental Car where I discovered they had no rental cars. Jamie was able to take me back to the shop and got me in quickly. Within 2 hours of this ordeal, he got me back on the road with new parts and repairs. I am grateful he was there and that time and was nice enough to help try and get me into a rental. On May 29, 2026, a tire separated from our Jayco HT 30.5 CKTS 5th Wheel. Luckily, we were able to pull our damaged RV into an empty parking lot. We found J & K Welding and Repair who offered 24 hour service so we called them. Mr. Vankirk immediately said he would be there as soon as possible. When he arrived, he stated that this was a situation his company could handle. We outlined a plan. It was already around 8:00 PM, but Mr. Vankirk went to look for the missing tire. He returned an hour later with it. Mr. Vankirk spent the following day looking for and finding the needed parts. He kept us informed. Once the parts arrived, Mr. Vankirk immediately made the repairs and notified us of the job's completion. We picked up the RV the following day. That evening, Mr. Vankirk called to check if we had picked up the RV and how our return trip had gone. Throughout the event, Mr. Vankirk was positive and professional. A family member strongly suggested talking to Josh at the Ohio Valley Dealership after deciding to purchase a Honda CR-V at the suggestion of my mechanic. The dealership's online inventory helped in the decision and changed my mind about which model when that "Certified" word appeared on the smaller 2020 HR-V Sport. By chance the next day my neighbor took me for a ride in her Honda and I immediately put $ down to reserve that certified car. No regrets weeks later - it looked showroom new according to our son on the day to drive it home.
