Zachary was at our home later that day to diagnose the problem areas. (RESPONSIVE) He even climbed into our attic space (very small space) to identify any further damage, thank goodness there was none. (THOROUGH) Zachary climbed out and made one call to his roofing contractor, AJH Construction and scheduled a site visit with the owner Andrew the very next day. Zachary was at our home 15- minutes prior to Andrew's arrival. (PUNCTUAL) He shared his contractor's credentials and proof of insurance without prompt. (HONEST) We shared small-talk, his background in contracting, his commitment to his Family and his customers. Zachary asked about my background and I could instantly see that he was listening with intent and a true interest in who I am. As a successful Sales Representative, I always take time to learn about my customers and share my backstory so we can begin to build trust--Zachary does exactly the same. (PERSONABLE) Zachary explained the different types of roofing options in great detail, he shared photos as examples, samples of the materials (shingles, metals, colors), he offered the pros and cons of each option with details that we could understand. (KNOWLEDGABLE) Zachary and Andrew utilized really neat technology on their phone (app) to precisely measure the roof for square footage and the other components necessary to provide an accurate quote--an extremely detailed quote that was given to me in minutes with explanation to each line item and cost, warranties and lead times on materials and execution of our new roof. (PROFESSIONAL) We accepted the quote and Zachary pledged to maintain an open line of communication throughout the entire process and he stuck to his word. He provided updates every step of the way. He handled the scheduling (had to postpone twice due to poor weather) with Andrew and his Team to complete the job, but he always took a customer-first approach and made sure we were okay with the scheduled date. (RESPECTFUL) Zachary was onsite for the final inspection (including cleanup) at the conclusion of the project (took 6 hours total) to confirm our five-star satisfaction. I am so satisfied that I already scheduled AJH to return in the Spring to replace our soffit, facia, gutters and downspouts. Initially, we were not familiar with them, but everything we compared with other companies sounded better and what we wanted. We decided to go with them. From our first meeting with Steve, we felt comfortable. We did not have a lot of knowledge about the process at all, but Steve directed us every step of the way and answered all our calls and texts and emails no matter when we reached out. Also Jackie in the office was on top of everything and kept us on schedule with meeting with all our vendors, making sure we didn't miss anything and that we got everything ordered in a timely manner. What we thought was going to be stressful, literally turned out to be such a fun process because Steve and Jackie were so good to us throughout the process and made us feel like a priority even though they had other projects they were working on at the same time. With Paragon, we noticed a lot of their standards in the build would have been upgrades with other companies so we really got quality product for our money. Their comprehensive in-house design and build approach was unlike that of other contractors, and their cooperative communication was instrumental in developing and meeting our expectations. They made understanding us and our house equal priorities. They educated us about the condition of the house, brought in an engineer, and designed projects around improving and reinforcing the house. They found and corrected issues created by the house's original builder. They work well coordinating their work with other contractors. With one exception, there were no call-backs. A minor installation error discovered years later was cheerfully and promptly fixed as a warranty item, a reflection on their commitment to their clients.
