We all hate to replace fences and I am particularly bad at procrastinating about it, but after propping the old fence up for a few months, I had to cave and share the expense with our neighbor. Being frugal (i.e. cheap) I only replaced the shared fence, delaying the rest of the fence replacement for later. Housewright replaced the old wooden posts with metal posts and installed a beautiful red cedar fence. All the wood was prestained, before arriving at our house, allowing Housewright to stain ALL surfaces of the wood, to prevent decay for as long as possible. We opted for a horizontal "rot board" as well, so that the fence's pickets could be raised enough to prevent having their ends submerged, even in the heaviest rain. Again, this is done so that the fence lasts as long as possible. Have I mentioned I HATE replacing fences? They did such a great job on the first fence section, that when I was ready to replace the rest of our fence, I didn't go out for quotes. I just reached out to Housewright Fence to do the job. It took a while to get on the schedule, but with supply chain issues, we were able to get the job done within a few weeks of placing our deposit. The crew worked hard in a day so hot, I didn't even want to step outside. They were courteous, careful to not damage our plants, patio furnishings or garden trellises and their post-construction cleanup left nothing behind. We've been doing LOTS of work, to transform our backyard from a place just for the dogs to poop, into a place for peaceful reflection and relaxation. Our new fence was the final touch in our backyard's transformation and I'm grateful our neighbor found Housewright. Need a fence but procrastinating like me? Go ahead and call Housewright. We had about 200' of 6' cedar fence installed in about 2 days, from start to finish. They also put a gate in a section on wrought iron fence where we needed one, and it works perfectly. Our neighbors on one side did not want a new fence, complained about us removing our trees, and were generally not fun to deal with. The crew had to put up with their complaining as well, but did so with a smile and even filled the gap between their old, falling down, chain link gate and the new wood fence. Even they are happy with the fence that they didn't want! Jay was extremely responsive to my emails and texts and they even billed my side neighbor separately for his half of that section of fence so that we didn't have to deal with that. He took care of everything from start to finish. We are so happy with our new privacy fence and will definitely look to Housewright Fence when we need to address the fence on the other side of our yard.

They loaded everything ,we then realized the poles wasn't on the truck went back inside they was sold out of the 8' metal poles they ended up giving us the 10' poles for 8' price which I felt was very nice so we could get the project completed that weekend. We had a pesky squirrel that had chewed through the wood awning and was living in the attic space. Taylor Crabtree and his team came and sealed the entire house so ensure that there was no way in, trapped the area to remove the critter, and then came back and repaired all the damages. Best of all he offers a warranty. If we hear or see anything- we call and he comes out to remove/repair. It is hard to find good businesses to help with homeowner jobs that can be trusted and guarantee their work.

One portion of my fence was ten years old, and another portion was five years old. I was looking for greater privacy from prying eyes, security, and to add value to my home. I spend a lot of time in the back yard, so I wanted to have greater enjoyment. I consulted with two other companies, before I went with Lifetime Fence. I met with Brian, we went over a few options, looked at other fences in the alley, and his proposal made the most sense. I did not feel pressured to commit, and didn't sense any high pressure sales tactics. Everything was above board. Their warranty provides peace of mind. I put 50% down, and Jimmy, the owner, called me right after the snow storm to set up an install date. Brian came by that morning, and we did a walk through with Adrian and Hernan. I was going to be home during the install to answer any questions and/or address any concerns. The first day, they took down the old fence and posts, installed the new poles, rails and trim. The next day, they made some leveling adjustments before installing the pickets, and the rest of the trim.
