Recently, my brother and I stopped in to look for a gift for our brother. It was just before the holidays but the store itself wasn't busy. When we walked in, it looked like the two people working were having a casual conversation with some friends who had stopped in. I mention that because we were completely ignored. No "Hi". No "What can we help you with?". Nothing. My brother and I wandered around and couldn't find what we were looking for and of course, no one came to offer their assistance so we left. It is incredibly frustrating to not have good customer service or any customer service. Stores like Brunk's bank on repeat customers and local business but now that Teamworks is just down the road, they had better step up their game. We ended up at Teamworks and got exactly what we were looking for. And for a better price with customer service!

Got myself tickled surprised stumbling upon a new comic book styled adaptation of The Hobbit, didn't purchase, now I regret even for a pricer new edition. Very much there had been more celebration of literature's full magic, iconic authors, celebrated series, unique publishers, instead of just a couple main topics. Noticed the solo staff quietly holding down the side room at the back corner checkout, oddly not near the entry. The second oddity was a bewildering array of invisible god replacements: fortune telling, card reading, and general assortment of materials bent on using the star charts and crystal as religion. Always amusing to see attempts made to replace a simple prayer and book based church, that's remained unaltered for four thousand years, the endless chaos of frantic scrabbling at palm lines, tea leaves, and incense doesn't go along with the rest of the progressive socially cared for collection here. However I understand how quickly the mind starts to make up its own sense of self with the easiest options at hand not necessarily the ones that will last or prove worthwhile.

Excellent salesman and willing to talk and educate you on whatever you need in regards to your home build. If there is corruption in our city government, it is up to the citizens to remove or replace the officials, not come on a consumer review site to bash them repeatedly. The place for stuff like that is on this cool new invention called a "blog" where if people really do appreciate rants (guess what, they don't!) they will come and read your stuff. You can then see how many people are truly seeking out negativity in their lives and watch your traffic counter stay in the single digits. Peoria has a lot to offer if you seek it out but if you stay holed up in your house with no friends, I guess it really is the worst place on earth. But if 90% of your reviews are negative ones no matter what city you are talking about, all that negativity might be something you carry around in your own head. Maybe you can search shrinks on Yelp and find yourself a good one.
