I'm always skeptical about trying a new moving company since I'm so meticulous on how I want my things wrapped, and parris moving crushed it. I've got some antiques that needed extra bubble wrap and to be upright during the whole trip and they accommodated that. My electronics, appliances, not a single scratch on them after a 3 hours haul across Florida. Plus the job finished way sooner than expected and I was able to have a bad ass dinner at the end of the night since I had time. Absolutely flawless job by Jon and the guys. The process was as stress-free as it could be. (In recent years, I used another company, and it was a nightmare.) Working with Jonathan, Ryan, Jordan, and the crew was a dream. I've used many different companies over the years, but these guys are far and away the best. I was moving all the smaller items the night before. It's a 45 min trip one way, so it was becoming a tedious task. These guys show up the next day, and efficiently/safely speed clear everything with their custom equipment in a few hours...my previous efforts were made to be pointless and silly. From the start, I knew Parris Moving was going to make moving a breeze. As soon as I contacted the company, Jonathan was extremely informative, responsive, and asked all of the right questions. I had a fairly simple job of loading up a U-Haul truck for an interstate move, so I just needed movers to help with packing. Ryan and Jared did an incredible job of carefully handling large pieces of furniture and did it with ease. They were also super friendly which made the experience pleasant. I had ordered furniture pads to protect my things for the drive, however they did not arrive, and the guys did an excellent job of improvising and protecting my items with resources that were already available. After having time to really inspect my personal items after my move, several things were damaged - picture frames, water tower, tv console, etc. scratches and nicks all over. I recommend packing your items yourself rather than having them do this part of the move. Not sure I'll use them again after all. read more

They treat your furniture like junk. Dropped my cedar chest off the dolly and broke a piece off. Later discovered deep cuts in the wood. They destroyed my computer desk but make you sign that they are not responsible for particle board so basically they just trash your stuff. They dented the wall of the house we were leaving in two places and it wasn't discovered until I had already paid. They cracked the threshold of one room. It took them 9 hrs to move a 1600 sf house one hour away. Moved like snails because they get paid by the hour and owner said it was because it was hot. I was charged for their breaks and a one an a half hour ride in the truck that should have taken an hour but the owner gave me 200 back. Overall it was a very bad experience. If you value your furniture then I would go elsewhere. They need to stick to junk removal because they treat everything like junk. read more

We had a 16 ft container which needed to be unloaded, contents moved into our rental home. Jonathan sent over Brennan and Miguel who did a phenomenal job! We were impressed on how careful they were in moving the furniture without scratching the walls. They assembled our bed and dinette table so we could finally eat a decent meal. They have great prices for the service they do. I had to get an entire 26ft moving truck filled and these guys did a tremendous job. They even wrapped little nick-knacks that I wasn't able too. And top of that they work so quickly. I thought the job would take well over 4 hours but they did it in about 3.5 hours. I used Parris moving company for my move in January and they exceeded my expectations. The guys for my move were Jonathan, Brennan and Ryan and they were all very friendly, and informative. They hustled and didn't waste any time. I moved from a three story condo to a second story apartment and they got everything loaded and unloaded at the new place in 2 hours. Parris had good reviews as did several others but we needed someone the very next day, and Parris was the only company able to make that possible. I became acquainted with their services when another mover I had contracted left me high and dry on a house move date. The other company complained that there was too much dust in the house and that they did not want to deal with a "health" risk. After I contacted my realtor regarding the urgent situation, she contacted Parris Moving. Within three hours THAT VERY SAME DAY they came and did the loading and packing (that the other company declined to do). In fact, the owner (Jonathan Parris) came and bought everyone pizza, as we had to work through dinnertime.
