Dog park review #6 - it's like a 4.5 but I went with a 5 because why the hell not! They earned…read moreit...it's the obstacle course for me...it's the agility training set up for me...it's the dog playground for me.... LOCATION: we love BONITA!!! So beautiful! This park is mesmerizing. PARKING: TONS and I repeat TONS! Best part: FREEEEEEEE muahahah SIZE: WOW when is Yelp going to let us add emojis so I can show you with heart eyes that the size of this park is INSANE! It doesn't get better than this. It just goes and goes and goes and goes. Way back! CLEANLINESS: I actually stepped on a doggy boo boo lmao!!! My vans are ruined right now tbh!!! Sheesh... i don't wanna judge the park by that tho because that was simply a mistake on the dog owners behalf *ahem* DOG POPULATION: They have a SMALL doggo area and a BIG doggo area - we love a good park that caters to all shapes colors flavors and sizes!! Yasss no discrimination here. The dogs here do follow the rules so they are separated- (little Italy - no dogs follow that rule they all play in one big area despite there being signs for separation) but that is for the safety of your dogs. SEATING: there is only one bench on each side that will solely fit 3 people total (ya better know those people in this pandemic - no stranger could sit next to you) they are in the direct sunshine SHADE: not much shade - there is a big tree towards the back however you would have to stand if you wanna stray away from the vitamin D The good news....people do bring their own park chairs / lawn chairs with the detachable umbrella - I've seen that and personally I think that's genius!

Rohr park in general is huge with tons of playgrounds, grass, trails, ball fields golf course etc…read more There are multiple entrances for parking and u can't drive all the way through. The dog park does have a parking area right next to it unless u want to walk through the park. They have two areas for the dogs- small and large. The small dog side is pretty decent size with water fountain, bowls, and doggie bag dispenser. It's pretty clean. It has a few agility equipment items. We tried the ramp and it was super steep so u need to run to get up it. It was a Tuesday morning so only one other dog not interested in playing but we sniffed until our hearts were delighted. There were more dogs on the big dog side. There is a little grass on the small dog side which is nice where as the big dog side is almost none. Overall this is a nice park to bring your pups!

Pretty cool place....large patch of grass with many concrete benches. No shade except for the perimeter....but seems like a good space for sure. Plenty of parking. I love this dog park! It's kind of hidden away from main road in a business area. Parking is at…read morethe bottom of the hill. There is plenty of parking - we've come at all times of the day and have never had an issue. You climb up a small hill and at the top you reach a large open grassy field. The trees are surrounding the border so you get a little bit of shade on the edges depending on the time of day. Also around the borders there are concrete benches to sit at, but we usually bring our own chairs. Our dog loves the open space here! So much room to run after her frisbee or chase other dogs. She definitely had good interactions with the dogs here, most seem very well socialized and the owners we've met have been friendly. Some things to keep in mind: - There are no poop bags, so you should bring your own. For a place that doesn't have them available, most of the owners here appear very responsible and have their own to clean up after their own pet. I've seen other parks with bags on site and the owners still don't pick up after their dog. - there are no water stations/fountains. However there are bowls around so you can bring water to fill them. - there are no fences. So once you climb up the hill, you're in an open park that has a natural barrier of shrubbery but I think there could be potential for dogs to wander away or out of it. We feel comfortable with our pup because her recall is pretty good. - lastly, no bathrooms!
