There is also a small playground in the middle, which makes this place a great spot for families. My friend's daughter wanted wings, so we ordered some from District. We decided to get food Mercado Norte instead and ordered the huarache de carne asada, flautas, 2 gorditas, and 3 horchatas. I was wondering why it took a long time to get our drinks, but since they ran out of ice, we ended up only get one horchata and had to ask for a refund before we left. The wings were drenched in sauce and were pretty tasty. I only tried the buffalo version, but she also got terriyaki? I liked how Mercado Norte presented our food- it looked pretty and was decorated nicely. Everything we ordered was delicious and very filling. The horchata tasted great as well- too bad we couldn't get more though!

They absolutely delivery with Uber Eats. We dined in. I got an individual pizza and small salad from Gambino's. The dough was handmade and delicious! My boyfriend got the Combo 1 at La Hot-dogueria. The staff were helpful, the fries were great, and he enjoyed the hot dog. He also got a large sushi roll from Ryokan which he said was a high quality tuna. The bar, Tepoztecatl, might have been our favorite stop. It has a good selection of beer and a really sweet woman bartender. We didn't try every restaurant today but I am sure we will. 5 stars for El Jardín.

Not only is it…read morecool to say you have been to the furthest southwest corner of the USA, you can also see this beautiful beach that feels very "remote" despite being so close to a major metropolitan area. But the most important reason to visit is to experience the humanity of it all, realize Mexico is our friend and ally and just over that wall. It's sad how militarized the wall is on our side - we can't get anywhere near it while on the Mexico side they are enjoying life and walking right up to it. It really helps give you perspective!

SW most here, southernmost in Key West, NE most at Quoddy Head Maine and NW most at Neah Bay Washington. There should be some effort required to reach the extreme of anything and Border Field fits the bill. The walk out to the wall and border is a mile ++ of pavement, horse-trails, deep-soft sand and then a beach-walk to the border. Expect the border patrol to be interested in your activities, but also say hi and thank these guys for protecting our border and protecting US citizens. Plenty of folks on the Mexico-side taking pictures of me / taking pictures of them. The Friendship area and most of the state-park seems neglected of maintenance and significantly overgrown. Regardless - this is a beautiful corner of the world and well worth the extra effort to visit.

Through the years, however, damage on the slide with a danger sign for kids not to slide on has occurred with miscreants tagging up the Nestor Neighborhood Park sign. The portapottie is locked and unusable. Litter does not make it into the numerous trash cans available, and the well stocked pet plastic bags for biological pet waste isn't responsibly used by some owners walking their dog! What a disappointment! It has such a great potential of being a nice secluded secretly tucked away park with lush green grass and nice trees with picnic tables, barbecue grills, and trash cans at each table to help keep it clean if everyone would just be responsible in doing their part to clean up after themselves and their pets. I gave it an extra star because I did feel safe walking around there with a group of teens practicing their quincenera dance routine as well as a little kiddie organized soccer league playing in the back field. We can all help to keep this park clean, unlittered and well maintained by keeping pride and value to our surroundings. This is a public place for EVERYONE to enjoy! Why destroy it or claim it as yours with unwarranted unsolicited not even graffiti art or "tagging."
