I debated posting this, but I hope it helps prevent this from happening to someone else. I visited on Saturday with my service dog and was told I could not be seated indoors, so I chose to leave because I didn't feel comfortable being treated differently. For awareness: service animals are permitted inside restaurants under federal law, and guests should not be separated or asked to sit outside solely because of a service animal. Pizza Parlor is a great spot that is conveniently near my office in river north - ive come on several occasions for outings and have always been satisfied with my visits The place is large and can easily accommodate large parties, including a pretty cozy patio area that has heat lamps The pizzas themself are cooked in wood ovens and come out fresh, making for toasty and tasty slices of goodness - slightly pricey IMO for only having 12in sizes but overall perfect for sharing - they're cut into 6 pieces with a decent selection of choices to pick from The happy hour deals for BOGO pizzas and cheap drinks really sell this place as a go to for us when craving pizza! We were seated and greeted quickly. Drinks arrived quickly. We then placed our order for pizzas and a chopped antipasto salad. The salad was outstanding! The perfect amount of dressing and the portion was enough to serve 3. The timing on the pizzas was very good. They showed up just we finished the salad. Wonderful place downtown to grab some drinks and food. Their menu has a lot to offer. We tried their classic sgt pepper pizza and they had an option to make it heart. Very delicious and big enough to share you two people. We also had their calamari which was great and came with 2 really good dipping sauces. Cesar salad was also good and also had fresh croutons. Such a fun spot for pizza and great service! It's fun inside or outside and the menu is always solid. Came here on st Patrick's day the last two years and always have a great time! Stopped in on a Friday evening with some friends without a reservation around 730pm. We were told there was a 45 minute wait and they'd text us when our table was ready. We walked about a block away to grab a drink. Within 10 mins we got a text that our table was ready. Our server was great. He was very attentive and friendly. We started with a round of beers and a large caesar salad. The salad came without any dressing by mistake. By the time the server came back, he brought our pizzas. We told him about the salad and took it back to remake it. It came when we were halfway through our pizzas. Salad was great and the Parmesan crisp it came with was amazing! The pizzas we got were the garlic cheese one and the aunt Chilada pizza. Both were delicious, but that aunt chilada was my favorite!! Just came here for a late-ish night dinner. We requested to sit outside because it was extremely loud inside. I like how they have heaters available which we requested to have turned on. We weren't too hungry and we mainly came for drinks so we ordered 2 beers and a Brussel sprouts to snack on. The beer was very cold, crisp, and refreshing. The Brussel sprouts were pretty disappointing though. The flavor was good but they tasted like they were undercooked so it was pretty hard to chew. Also it was not crispy and was pretty soggy. My partner and I came here on a late Thursday afternoon during their happy hour. It was the best pizza in the city in my opinion, at least for Neapolitan style and their happy hour specials, the best in the city! We were sat down immediately and it's a very spacious restaurant. The ricotta cheese along with the garlic and mozzarella made this pizza heavenly. I'm surprised how pronounced the garlic was in this pizza, I love garlic and it was noticeable (usually at other places it's not so much) but I enjoyed it so much. Definitely try it with red chili flakes and oregano to bring it to a whole new level. If you like white sauces pizza and lots of cheese, this is your best friend. I would order this pizza again! The Abe Froman's Fave were our favorite because it was a complex pizza with different flavors and textures. It had sausage, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and spinach. Everything worked so well together perfectly, every bite had something different so it was delectable. Definitely would get this again. Both the crusts of the pizzas were baked to perfection. It was charred beautifully, the crust had a nice chew, and it wasn't soggy in the middle. Highly recommend their pizzas, you won't go wrong with any choice you make. I will 100% come back again! BEWARE: Unacceptable allergy pre-cautions. I've been to Parlor Pizza multiple times in the past and always had a good experience, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and on my most recent visit I learned they've added a shrimp pizza to the menu. Unfortunately, I was told they cannot accommodate a shellfish allergy at all -- they use the same oven and the same pizza cutters for every pizza, meaning there is a high risk of cross-contamination. This is really concerning. A pizza restaurant is typically somewhere people with shellfish allergies would feel relatively safe, so this was unexpected and honestly alarming. To make matters worse, our waitress was dismissive and unhelpful when I asked about allergy precautions. I ultimately wasn't able to safely eat anything there. I'm sharing this to help others with shellfish allergies be aware -- this is not a safe place to dine if you have this allergy. read more

We got in town earlier than expected and wandered into Parlor Pizza looking for dinner on a Thursday night. We were able to get a table right away on the outside patio. I ordered a Paloma to start and we also got two pizzas and a BLT. The hot chicken pizza was REALLY good! My kids split a sausage pizza and enjoyed it as well. I think I go with the Abe Froman because it has a mix of meat and vegetables that I like. This last time we went a little bit crazy and I also got the anti pasta salad, Brussels sprouts, and cheese bread. The price was OK and the service was all right as well. What really bugged me is the chairs there maybe I just have a flat butt but the wooden chairs suck. It was definitely corny, it had a great spice level but didn't leave a lot of room for other flavors. This would have been even better with extra lime garlic aoli and if the crust was a little crispier. The corn made some pieces way too soft or soggy. In love as a side they have the best pizza trio: parm, red pepper flakes, and ia Italian seasoning blend.
