Highly recommend their happy hour. They have some solid deals. Their spicy margaritas are super delicious and super strong. Was quite shocked by how strong they were - it's a great deal. The service was speedy. I visited on a Friday evening, and the place was bustling, with a fun vibe.
After a very full day of exploring downtown Chicago we needed to grab a bite to eat so we stopped in for a drink and some food! The pizzas all look incredible but unfortunately, I just had pizza earlier in the day so that is not what I was in the mood for. After reviewing the menu, I realize it was one of the last days to get the watermelon salad so I decided that's what I needed to try. Boy oh boy I am so glad I did it was light but full of flavor! The salad was simply delicious with the watermelon and feta pairing perfectly on my taste buds! I also ordered a local beer on the suggestion of the bartender which was also very refreshing and tasty! If I had been in Chicago longer I would have absolutely stopped back in for a pizza and a beer!
Pizza restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, but it is consistently packed so a reservation is needed. Unfortunately, the service felt disorganized from the start. Our hostess walked us halfway into the dining area then left us for a bit. Throughout the meal too, staff didn't seem fully coordinated, which led to multiple issues. The seating itself wasn't great either, with wobbly chairs and tables. While they do offer gluten free pizza, the menu notes that gluten cross contamination cannot be avoided. Their gluten free pizza is 13 inches, which they refer to as a medium and was good for two people. Our order also came out incorrectly as a margherita pizza, which we didn't order. When we asked about it, the waitress seemed confused and didn't really answer the question. They were also out of the sauces we requested. The cauliflower crust pizza was flat and greasy, and overall the experience felt rushed. Our table, drinks, and condiments were cleared while we were still eating, only about 40 minutes after being seated. Overall, the experience felt uncomfortable.
Big patio, service was attentive...not much personality, but he was nice and came around often to check on us! Signature cocktails were very good and everyone that had food really seemed to enjoy! Someone got a dessert that was like a giant ice cream taco - looked amazing and fun!
worst management experience ever. Pizza was good and our waiter was very nice. We got the cookie skillet and it was so burnt on the bottom it wasn't edible. We told our waiter, and asked if they can just remake it for us, not comp it or anything. The manager comes and says, oh you guys ate about half of it (we didn't, there were 4 of us and we had put it in our plates, she could clearly see that it was just sitting in our plates) so we'll charge you half for this and then charge you for a new one, and we were like...why would we pay for this when it's clearly burnt and also pay for a new one. So we ended up just not even getting any dessert and with that experience I really would not go again, there are better places for pizza anyways
Great pizza, fun outdoor setting, and the service was great! They were busy when we were there but the service was on top of things.
Stumbled upon this place and sure glad we did. Great little joint doing some crazy good things on thin crust pizza. We had a great local hazy IPA to start followed by a hot chicken pizza and a Mexican street corn pizza. Both were unique and both were amazing. Service was on point! Cool inside bar vibe and the patio where we sat was great. Pizza was delish and creative. Definitely recommend this place.
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. Ordered the lunch special, personal deep dish and Parmesan garlic fries. Pizza was good. I ordered pepperoni and didn't get much pepperoni flavor but it was cheesy and the pizza sauce is spectacular. Fries were ok but they came out cold.
Pizza Parlor is a great spot that is conveniently near my office in river north - ive come on several occasions for outings and have always been satisfied with my visits The place is large and can easily accommodate large parties, including a pretty cozy patio area that has heat lamps The pizzas themself are cooked in wood ovens and come out fresh, making for toasty and tasty slices of goodness - slightly pricey IMO for only having 12in sizes but overall perfect for sharing - they're cut into 6 pieces with a decent selection of choices to pick from The happy hour deals for BOGO pizzas and cheap drinks really sell this place as a go to for us when craving pizza! The staff here have always been amazing as well (service reasonably slows down during happy hour periods), only further adding to the pleasant experience each time we come
Wonderful place downtown to grab some drinks and food. Their menu has a lot to offer. We tried their classic sgt pepper pizza and they had an option to make it heart. Very delicious and big enough to share you two people. We also had their calamari which was great and came with 2 really good dipping sauces. Cesar salad was also good and also had fresh croutons. Server was amazing. Constantly checking on us and very sweet. The manager also came up to us to check how we were doing. The restaurant is very large on the inside and a lot of table. Very loud though but it fits the vibe.
Dear GM, I visited this establishment this afternoon to watch the Norway vs. England match while enjoying a few drinks with my two sons. The place was understandably busy, and there were no available tables. We asked the host if we could stand at one of the side tables (without chairs) and order drinks, and we were told that was perfectly fine. Over the course of our visit, we spent nearly $100 on drinks. We also noticed other standing customers who had borrowed stools so they could sit while eating and drinking. After standing for quite a while, my sons were getting tired. There was an eight-person table that had remained completely empty from the time we arrived until the time we left. Since it wasn't being used, my sons borrowed two chairs with every intention of returning them immediately if the table was needed. A short time later, one of the managers, Edgar, approached us, took the chairs away, and returned them to the empty table. He also removed chairs from another group that had been eating pizza and drinking. When I explained that we were paying customers and simply wanted a place for my sons to sit while we enjoyed our drinks, he responded that there were "other people spending more than you." That comment was disappointing. I understand the need to manage seating during busy events, and I respect that restaurants have policies. However, customer service is also about judgment, flexibility, and making guests feel welcome. The table remained empty for our entire visit, so allowing my sons to use two chairs temporarily would not have prevented anyone else from being seated. I'm sharing this feedback not because of the seating policy itself, but because of how the situation was handled. A little empathy and a more customer-focused approach from management would have made a significant difference in our experience. I hope this feedback is helpful and encourages a greater focus on customer service moving forward.
Went here for HH with the office crew! My first time and wow the pizza was amazing! Finally some good pizza was had in Chicago! For HH, it's BOGO on the pizza which is a smoking deal! We ordered pretty much each pizza! The cheesus, Mary and Joseph pizza was incredible! Wow! That was my favorite! Our server was awesome! The place is great for large parties which is so much fun to do. The space is accommodating to that. I can't wait to return!
Ended up here as part of the bar hopping in the area was winding down ended up having drinks and a few pizzas our first time here they have plenty of craft drafts and full liquor bar. I was expecting a pizza place but it's actually part sports bar and nightclub ambience with all the dim lights. The print on the menu size required extra lighting in the evenings. One of my friends asked if it could be cut up party style into squares. The bartender said they only cut it in two slices no explanation... once the pizza was delivered. We understood it was very Neapolitan style cooked in a large Wood oven. the crust was a light airy taste with less cheese than normal imo however, if they would've cut it into squares, have many pieces missing ingredients, mostly the outer perimeter. Cute casual outdoor place for summer! The frozen Hugo Spritz was perfect! Not too sweet! The caesar salad was so cold and crisp! The baked parm piece on the side was generous! It was so so good! The pizza was thin crust fantastic! I built my own - wish they would offer olives. I love that they brought us dried oregano to top with! Service was super attentive and on the ball. The staff were sweet, helpful and kind! 4 stars just because the table and outdoor floor could have been a touch cleaner - but it is a super great place with fantastic drinks n food/ and we will be back! Really delicious Neapolitan-style 12 inch pizzas! We ordered the Abe Froman's Fave and the Beefer Sutherland which were both served piping hot and quickly from the time we ordered them. We also each ordered the Paloma craft drink and my boyfriend said it was the best one he has ever had! Our server Julio was attentive and knowledgeable about the pizza choices. Ambiance inside is very dark and the music is louder than most places. If you prefer to talk and hear each other, you will want to sit outside on the patio. read more

We were seated and greeted quickly. Drinks arrived quickly. We then placed our order for pizzas and a chopped antipasto salad. The salad was outstanding! The perfect amount of dressing and the portion was enough to serve 3. The timing on the pizzas was very good. They showed up just we finished the salad. We got margarita pizza with spicy sopprasetta and a how stracciatella got her groove back. Both were hot, fresh and had great flavors. Would definitely recommend but be prepared for slow refills on drinks. read more

Dessert taco was fine, customer service was abysmal. The cashier and the employee who was supposed to be making the dessert tacos were chatting with each other with their backs turned to us, literally looking at TikTok's, had a full on obviously personal conversation for several minutes with a third employee who popped in from the main restaurant, all right in front of us while we waited. We waited so long we thought they were frying the waffle taco shells fresh but after several minutes the girl just pulled them out from wherever they keep them behind the counter. We finally asked how much longer it was going to take and lied that we had a car waiting (we did not) and the girl finally actually assembled the desserts in just about 90 seconds. Parlor Pizza Bar has been on my list of restaurants to try in Chicago the last three times I've been and so we made it a plan to finally come and try it third time around! They had an abundance of seating outside and inside and had such friendly staff. It was happy hour around the time we ate and so we got two pizzas for the price of one as well as two cocktails! For Pizzas we got the Cheesus, Mary, and Joseph and Sgt. Pepper. The Sgt. Pepper was definitely our favorite! For cocktials, we got the Don't Be A Prickly Pear Margarita and Conor 42 Spicy Margarita. read more
Just came here for a late-ish night dinner. We requested to sit outside because it was extremely loud inside. I like how they have heaters available which we requested to have turned on. We weren't too hungry and we mainly came for drinks so we ordered 2 beers and a Brussel sprouts to snack on. The beer was very cold, crisp, and refreshing. The Brussel sprouts were pretty disappointing though. The flavor was good but they tasted like they were undercooked so it was pretty hard to chew. Also it was not crispy and was pretty soggy. Everything was good. My family and I enjoyed our meal. The service was good, not amazing. We were looking for pizza near the hotel and the Parlor was there. My wife and I enjoyed the hummus platter and pizza. I think the kids enjoyed the dessert bar next door better. read more

We ordered the Honey Boo Boo and Abe Froman's Fave pizzas, along with a happy hour-sized Balsamic Glazed Fried Mozzarella to share. Both pizzas came straight from the oven, hot and flavorful. The Honey Boo Boo, topped with garlic, cheese, honey, rosemary, and onions, was my personal favorite. My fiancée loved the Abe Froman's Fave, a classic choice with sausage, fresh mozzarella, red peppers, and spinach. The Balsamic Glazed Fried Mozzarella was also a standout. The tangy glazed vegetables added a sour kick that paired perfectly with the richness of the mozzarella. The service was a bit slow, but the food was excellent and the prices were great--and that's what really matters. read more
Such a fun spot for pizza and great service! It's fun inside or outside and the menu is always solid. Came here on st Patrick's day the last two years and always have a great time! There is a lot of space so tables tend to turn around quickly even if it's packed. Pizza is thin crust and fresh, and I've also gotten a salad here before and enjoyed it! read more

A (mbiance) -- Very loud, rowdy, and corporate - so many backpacks and collared shirts at every other table. Service was rushed and felt like they were trying to empty out tables for corporate events. (-2 stars) M (enu) -- Best item was the Hot Chix Pizza - cannot beat this pizza for its spice level (Nashville hot chicken supremacy!), balanced with savory and rich aioli and cheddar, with a needed crunch from the pickles and onion. read more
My partner and I came here on a late Thursday afternoon during their happy hour. It was the best pizza in the city in my opinion, at least for Neapolitan style and their happy hour specials, the best in the city! We were sat down immediately and it's a very spacious restaurant. Our waitress was attentive and nice. We ordered their Cheesus, Mary, and Joseph and Abe Froman's Fave. The cheesus, Mary, and Joseph were super rich and delicious. The ricotta cheese along with the garlic and mozzarella made this pizza heavenly. I'm surprised how pronounced the garlic was in this pizza, I love garlic and it was noticeable (usually at other places it's not so much) but I enjoyed it so much. Definitely try it with red chili flakes and oregano to bring it to a whole new level. If you like white sauces pizza and lots of cheese, this is your best friend. I would order this pizza again! The Abe Froman's Fave were our favorite because it was a complex pizza with different flavors and textures. It had sausage, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and spinach. Everything worked so well together perfectly, every bite had something different so it was delectable. Definitely would get this again. Both the crusts of the pizzas were baked to perfection. It was charred beautifully, the crust had a nice chew, and it wasn't soggy in the middle. Highly recommend their pizzas, you won't go wrong with any choice you make. I will 100% come back again! Again, can't beat those happy hour prices. read more

Stopped in on a Friday evening with some friends without a reservation around 730pm. We were told there was a 45 minute wait and they'd text us when our table was ready. We walked about a block away to grab a drink. Within 10 mins we got a text that our table was ready. Our server was great. He was very attentive and friendly. We started with a round of beers and a large caesar salad. The salad came without any dressing by mistake. By the time the server came back, he brought our pizzas. We told him about the salad and took it back to remake it. It came when we were halfway through our pizzas. Salad was great and the Parmesan crisp it came with was amazing! The pizzas we got were the garlic cheese one and the aunt Chilada pizza. Both were delicious, but that aunt chilada was my favorite!! Our server also brought us a comped dessert to apologize for our salad being wrong and then coming after our pizzas were mostly done. We got the s'more's taco. It was sooooo tasty! Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back. read more

We came here for our first dinner out in Chicago, and overall it was a very good experience. The beers were fresh, crisp, and very enjoyable -- definitely one of the highlights of the night. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which had nice flavor but could have been a bit crispier for our taste. The atmosphere here is vibrant and fun, with a great vibe for a night out. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot with good drinks, decent food, and a great environment. read more

Reservation for 3 at Parlor Pizza Bar - River North. I enjoyed my experience and the variety of the menu and have never seen hummus/veggies as an option at a pizza place before. I'll need to come back when the weather gets nice to take advantage of their outdoor dining spaces!! Enjoyed How Stracciatella Got Her Groove Back and Honey Boo Boo. We rated these pizzas 3.5/5. I normally go for red sauce pizzas and branched out with the garlic based sauce with honey boo boo. Would order How Stracciatella Got her Groove Back again! Inside it is dark with sports tvs all over and music. Be mindful of that when booking. It's a great spot for a casual meal with close friends, but don't expect to have an intimate conversation. Staff was outstanding with promptly getting our orders in and food delivered. Friendly staff as well! read more

We got in town earlier than expected and wandered into Parlor Pizza looking for dinner on a Thursday night. We were able to get a table right away on the outside patio. I ordered a Paloma to start and we also got two pizzas and a BLT. The hot chicken pizza was REALLY good! My kids split a sausage pizza and enjoyed it as well. My husband's BLT had thick cut bacon and was a large portion. Everything came out hot and quickly. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back! read more
Parlor Pizza Bar is such a great pizza place in Chicago! I have visited this restaurant prior and returned to bring a friend who is currently visiting Chicago. The restaurant, itself, is very cute. It is dimly lit and has such a nice and relaxing ambiance. I ordered the Honey boo boo pizza, which I had eaten before, and I was not at all disappointed. The pizza was juicy and very flavorful. You certainly could taste the garlic that was used in the pizza. The crust is on the thinner side, but I personally am a fan of thin crust pizza. I would certainly recommend this item off of the menu! The service was mediocre. The server probably came over to our table once or twice and did not seem as if she wanted to be there. Regardless, I would recommend this place to visitors in the Chicago area. read more
