Cute place. Line moved quickly. They have a system and it's working to handle the donut starved people in Dubois County. After breakfast at Cafe Pina, my friend and I were headed back to Indy when we decided to stop for a "donut for the road." While in line, I decided that in addition to our donut on the road, that I was also going to require "a donut for later." We left with a box of four donuts. Thank you for the box! Beyond a single donut, a bag just serves little to no purpose. Especially Parlor Donuts. We tried French Toast, Peanut Butter Cup, and Raspberry Filled. Loved them all. These are not your typical donut. They're light and flaky like a croissant. The dough lends them to not being cloying sweet. The sweetness comes from the toppings, so the balance is good. They're messy, but who cares. All four donuts became road donuts. No donuts survived long enough to be considered a donut for later, although I did last a little longer than my friend. Good addition to Jasper. Looking forward to being back.

Six great doughnuts from Parlor! All delicious!

Stopped in to try some doughnuts from this new coffee and doughnut shop that just opened in Jasper, Indiana. All I can say is----WOW!!! Now THESE are DOUGHNUTS!!! I live in Jeffersonville, Indiana, so I have access to Jeff's Doughnuts on a regular basis, so I can pretty confidently say I know a good doughnut, but Parlor takes doughnuts to an entirely different level! So many flavors and tastes packed into fried dough! I'm kind of drooling just thinking about them! It's a great little shop with lots of character and the folks working behind the counter were super helpful and knowledgeable about the different kinds of doughnuts they make. And they make A LOT! They are a bit pricey ($2.95 a doughnut, so prepare for a bit of sticker shock), but the doughnuts are HUGE, tall, flavorful and filling (without being overly heavy or greasy). I tried six of the probably fifteen varieties they make; Festival (honey glazed with white icing snd sprinkles), Maple Bacon (with REAL bacon), Sandy Beach (a nice take on the classic cinnamon and sugar), Honey Glazed (pretty much as straightforward a doughnut as they have), Dreamscicle (yes, orange and vanilla and delicious!) and Maple Bourbon (more maple-y, but a bit of a bourbon undernote). They were all big, but all fluffy and as layered as can be! I didn't sample the coffee as I already had done from home, but it smelled really good and the shop has a nice space adjacent to where you order doughnuts to go and hang out to enjoy your coffee and doughnuts. I would imagine this place will be hopping in the fall and winter! If you're in the Jasper area, be sure to stop by and check them out; your tastebuds and your tummy will thank you!

Absolutely LOVE the açaí bowl here so much. I always look forward to getting this every time I order here. It's very filling and sometimes can't even finish half of it. I door dashed my food and it came so well handled. The food and drinks are so pretty and so yummy. I adore this place so much and look forward to spending money here again. Worth every penny.

Woohoo, a great addition to Jasper! Great food, great donuts, great coffee, and a great atmosphere! We loved our strawberry shortcake and campfire donuts. I also got the spinach pesto sandwich, and it was good. I ate it without the top ciabatta bun because it was so thick. Will be back to try all the donuts on the menu!

It's safe to say that I'm obsessed with Parlor Doughnuts. They catered at my wedding, and we have been going there since they opened in my hometown of Evansville, Indiana. When we found out that there was a place in Jasper, and I was visiting family, it seemed like the perfect place to meet up. The inside is incredibly spacious, with lots of seating and natural light. I tried the açai bowl for the first time, which was great. Really quick and kind service. I can't say enough great things about parlor donuts.

Tried to charge $70 for a dozen donuts. The person obviously didn't know what he was doing. Said the software was messed up.

The menu changes seasonally with new items, but still has classics you can expect all year round. They also have weekly specials that include non-menu items that are often themed for holidays/special occasions. This morning we got to enjoy some of this season's winter menu. I had the fuyu sando, my husband had the country cabin crunchwrap, and our son had the O-G pancakes with chocolate chips/strawberries/blueberries. I also had a cookie butter chai and my husband had coffee. Everything was phenomenal, like always. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself is bright, open, and just cheerful. If you're in the area this is a must stop. If you are local, they do so much more than brunch. They have a bakery across the hall, they do catering, private dinners, special nights for dinner. Chef Claudia has brought an absolute gem to southern Indiana.

With tip, $57.75. The country fried steak was the thinnest I have ever gotten. The gravy that came with it to dip in was hyped up on the menu as being delicious. It tasted like the cheapest 50 cent store brand instant gravy packet. Almost zero flavor. I did appreciate the avocado and garlic aioli flavor in the wrap. The country fries ( cubes ) tasted stale , like they were fried, then kept warm. Neither of us ate but two bites each. Ketchup didn't help.

Atmosphere is fun, it really embraces the German decor (saw a review or too calling it kitschy, in a good way, which I think is a fair description). Service is friendly and attentive (and in the costumed German garb to keep with the themes). Lots of classic German dishes (several schnitzel varieties, brats, spatzel, etc.). I won't say anything I've had over the years blows me away, but haven't had a bad choice either. The Wiener schnitzel I had most recently was tender and tasty, with a perfectly fried batter, and the German fries were nicely crisped on the exterior and beautifully seasoned. Good beer selection (including some brewed for the restaurant), reasonable wine list...love that you can go all out and have your beer in the classic giant boot! Small gift shop as well, some souvenir items as well as some candies and food options.

We decided to go for dinner on Sunday evening and at first we were seated inside. It was a bit stuffy inside and so we asked Ian, our waiter, if we could sit outside and keep him as our server. He said their pizza was really good and we could get a 16" unlimited topping pizza with breadsticks for $31. Let me tell you, his recommendation was absolutely incredible. The pizza came out hot fresh more toppings than you could ask for and the breadsticks were just as good! This pizza for sure is one of the top five best pizzas I have had at a restaurant.
