This is such a cool indoor play place for kids!! It's brightly decorated, just the right size for…read moretoddlers to big kids, and they allow older siblings to come into the play area as well. This comes in very handy when there is an age gap between kids and as the parent you don't want to go in the play area. My 4, 5 and 6 year old nieces loved playing on the slides into the ball pit and the climbing areas. My 12 year old daughter and friend felt just as at home as the little ones. The staff is very nice and accommodating, especially by opening up the colorful tube slide so my kids could enjoy it even though they were short staffed. I appreciated that very much. There is plenty of indoor seating for parents to keep an eye on the littles. As an extra perk they have the riding animals and the kids love going through the mall on them. For a full day of indoor play the price is not bad at all. My only suggestion is that they had free wifi so I could work on my computer. I never asked if they had it, I just assumed since I didn't see any signs up. Otherwise, I will gladly come again and again to this place.

When you buy a pass, it's good for all day and you are allowed to leave and come back. Being located in a mall with a food court makes this incredibly awesome. For the play areas, there is a smaller toddler area that's awesome. Small slights and things to climb on and this real cool bubble looking structure to climb into. It's big enough to keep them busy for a bit but eventually they'll want to go explore the "big kids" area. Next is an area with chairs to sit and eat snacks, parents to chill while their little play and there is an interactive floor that has a projector on it. You can step on graphics and they blow up. Pretty cool, kind of like a science center. Next is a big ball pit room! It has some crazy slides, TONS of ball, maybe a little deep for toddlers. There is a volcano like tower that normally would blast balls out the top but it's not very powerful and was barely working for us. The slides are pretty steep but very fun! While it's cool there are tons of balls, it's really deep for some of the kids to get out of the stairs part cause it's so deep. After that there is a room with cannons that launch balls at an interactive screen. This would have been the coolest part but the cannons don't shoot hard enough and often get clogged if someone sticks a big ball in it. Last is a slide where you have to get on an inter tube with a hard bottom. The worker sprays soapy water on the bottom and you go down suuuuper fast then immediately STOP! This is because the floor at the bottom is rubber and it stops you way too quick. I watch many kids get whip last from this. I get it, cause there isn't much room if you didn't stop but man it can be rough if you aren't expecting it. Other than that there are corridors with cool parkour type obstacles and things to jump on. Very fun! There are also snacks and waters to buy, the bathroom are in another room with plenty of space and they are family bathrooms. Also a good space that's away from the rest in case a kid is over stimulated. Great place! Great value since it's all day long! Way better priced than similar players in Louisville.

We had a total of 6 pizzas. An hour later at 3:40 I go to the desk to ask about them and she said she would be bringing 2 of them out, that we had asked for them to come at 4. She didn't apologize at all, she was instantly bothered and added the remark that she would have a different employee to finish attending to the party. She brought in the pizzas and no one else came in the rest of the party to ask if we needed anything else or to help, we were completely ignored. After the terrible service and being ignored, my mother in law went up to the counter and heard the same employee talking negative about us still. Unfortunately, this birthday party was one of those times. After he jumped for a bit, he needed to sit down, and my husband was able to bring over a large garbage can for him to get sick into. The staff did not wince or cringe when they swiftly disposed of the can. They stripped the nearby table he had been sitting at of its tablecloth, wiped down the table and chairs with disinfectant wipes and remade everything in just a few minutes. I thanked the owner, and he shrugged it off, saying he hopes my son feels better. My son's bout wasn't due to him having the flu or being infectious -- but it was comforting to see how well they take care of everything in case he had been. My son felt better after that, and my daughter and the rest of the kids had a blast. Bounce'n Round does birthday parties right, helping everyone keep to a schedule of fun that includes black lights, pizza, birthday cake, a group photo and bubble play. A definite party winner!

The Astra Theatre is a 357-seat historic theatre located in Jasper, Indiana that first opened in…read more1936 and was operated as a family-owned movie theatre for the next 66 years. Located directly on Main Street, the theatre was reconfigured to become a duplex cinema in the mid-80's. However, surviving in a world of multiplexes ended up being too tough and the Astra was closed in September, 2002. After a few years of interest followed by no action in claiming the Astra, Next Act, Inc. bought the theatre in 2015 and began a move toward restoration with a $400,000 historic preservation grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs followed by a $1.7 million major restoration in 2017-2018 that replaced all major infrastructure (electric to and throughout the building, plumbing, HVAC units and ductwork) while also allowing for the installation of a new accessible restroom on the first floor, an expanded stage, new seating throughout, re-opening the balcony, new sound and lights, a new men's restroom, a renovated women's restroom, a new concessions area, new doors, a refurbished marquee, new doors, refurbished windows, and more. I had heard of the Astra prior to its renovation, however, I'd never visited prior to a recent visit. Thus, I can't speak to the level of improvement other than nothing accessibility improvements are obvious. The Astra Theatre has 269 seats on the main floor and the balcony tends to only be opened when the actual need arises, though for reserved seating events they do make the balcony available. The second floor is not accessible. Accessibility features include an accessible restroom on the main floor, accessible seating toward the front of the theatre, and an accessible platform in the back. It's not perfect, but it's quite good for a historic theatre. The Astra has concessions at all events - Pepsi products along with the usual popcorn, candy, and chips. They do also have beer and wine available for those age 21+. They do accept cash or credit/debit cards. The Astra is not a regular movie theatre at this point, however, they do host movies, special events, comedy, and concerts. On my visit, it was for a movie screening but I've also heard good things about the Astra for other special events. I don't get to the Jasper area as much as I used to, but I'm a fan of historic theatres and am slowly getting myself to as many of Indiana's best theatres as I can. The Astra has operated for the past seven years utilizing volunteers. So, if you're expecting all the creature comforts of a multiplex think again. This is a historic theatre run by the community for the community and utilizing volunteers who are passionate about the space. They are friendly and helpful. If you're going for a special event, there are several hotels in the Jasper area at a variety of price points. The website tends to be updated when a new event is coming up. However, the Astra is also active on social media. I saw a statement on their website describing the Astra as a brand new 80+ year-old theatre and this sounds about right. With significant upgrades, the Astra is comfortable, beautiful, surprisingly accessible, and the kind of Indiana event space you should experience at least once. Southern Indiana is ideal for a day trip. Oh heck, make it a weekend and check out the Astra.
