It can be hard to find a spot with this kind of selection without traveling into Nashville. They also have a pretty decent wine selection. The staff is great too, they're happy to check the back for you if you're looking for something in particular. When I told the guy at the front that I was looking for bourbon barrel aged beers, he said he had some in the back that I should check out and brought out a few bottles. This place rocks!! Check it out next time you're looking for some awesome beer or an excellent bottle of wine.

They're very small samples, so don't get the idea you can come here and start taking free shots! I don't really think anyone would do this, but I feel inclined to tell you. The customer service associate was super nice and helpful with our visit. Generally, my husband and I just wander and help ourselves to check out different selections that various liquor stores have to offer, but since we got to try a couple of options for tequila, we interacted with him. They have a decent section of liquors and wines. This is one liquor store that is in the radius of 3 other stores within half a mile. I can speak for the other stores, but I'm glad we checked this one out and would come back. We did purchase the tequila we tried.,

Some liquor stores feel grimey, ghetto, and shady, but this one felt like a high class liquor store with clean floors too. SERVICE: when we first walked in there were two guys talking going over inventory in the middle of the room. They didn't ask if we needed help finding anything until after they were done talking, to which I asked where the Moonshine is, and he pointed and explained where they were. MOONSHINE: original, pineapple, peach, apple pie, one said 103 proof-I didn't know that was possible. ABSINTHE: I think I spelled that right, I saw in small bottles by the register. I don't know if they're the real thing, but the girl at the register said they get bought a lot, but we opted not to this time. PARKING: outside parking lot shared with other stores in the outside shopping plaza. Same plaza as Krogers. Next to a cigarette type store. OVERALL: I recommend this liquor store, I don't know how it compares to other liquor stores in TN, but it's definitely nicer than the ones in CA that I've been to. They give you brown paper bags for the bottles, which in CA they're getting rid of bagging to where you have to bring your own, so it was nice to have things bagged for you.

We first starting coming here when we lived at Campus Crossings, which backs up to Shifty's--or as we lovingly call it--The Beer Store. Since then Shifty's has expanded to include hookah, a growler station, and now liquor! From our first time in, Grant and Ms Joye made us feel like family. Grant is always ready with a tip on a new beer or can point you in the direction of the best liquor for your needs. Now they've even got a sample station set up! Fill up your growler, mix a six, and stock up with all your party essentials. You can even get a keg! Ms Joye never forgets a face and will make you feel like you belong--there's a real Cheers vibe here. She's got an ear for the community and will let you know about events or spread the word if you have one coming up. Besides being a gem in the community, Shifty's has a great selection. They've got all the local beers as well as anything else you could want. Singles, six packs, party packs, you name it. Now that they've expanded to liquor you can get your spirits and your mixers all in one place with a good selection. They've usually got some kind of special going on, so be sure to ask.
