We contacted Blue Ribbon Catering, and they were incredibly helpful. Not to mention, they were patient and kind as we asked a multitude of questions to gain clarity. Everyone was very patient, especially Melissa, with whom we were in constant contact regarding the event. She made everything so easy to understand. Many of our guests had different food allergies, and they were able to accommodate us as best as they could. Everything was wonderful, and people raved about the food. The team was very professional; they showed up on time and had the food ready to go. Prices were also very reasonable, which we really appreciated since we were planning a wedding on a budget. It was definitely worth it. We had Vanessa as our private caterer, and she was incredibly kind to every single guest. She even helped my mom set up an entire dessert table that my mom had prepared separately. Vanessa didn't have to do that, but she was willing to help. Overall, our experience with Blue Ribbon Catering felt very comforting and family-like. We highly recommend them, and if we have another event up north in Ohio, we will absolutely be contacting them again.

After a long wait, I finally received a response on October 29 apologizing for the delay and confirming my date was available. They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Was it worth $11.29 for a small smoked turkey breast sandwich and mac & cheese meal? Honestly…read more.. no. I originally stopped in thinking this might be more of a coffee shop so I could grab a snack and coffee while pumping gas--kill two birds with one stone. From the outside--and even inside--it's aesthetically appealing and looks like a great spot. But the experience didn't quite match that first impression. The food itself didn't hit the mark in the taste factor--nothing terrible, just not memorable or worth the price in my opinion. That said, I'm open to trying other menu items because maybe I just didn't order the right thing. Customer service was pretty average--nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, it didn't hit the mark this time, but I'd consider giving it another shot.

Been here recently/last year three times, which has a refreshed look compared to the past. They have a variety of options with hot deli style sandwiches as a base, but have soups/salads as well as calzones, pizza, and flatbreads. If you have a sweet tooth, Cinnabon products are available as well as cookies and brownies. Breakfast is also available with breakfast sandwiches, burritos and tacos. The food quality is pretty good and a nice option to standards like McDonald's and Arbys etc. Cost seems higher for what it is, but to be fair in the past year (2025-2026) prices seem to be soaring due to tariffs and other economic issues. Food quality is not bad, but not a stand out either. Soups seem to be one of the better options. Service seems so so for friendliness as well as speed. The environment is OK, again not a standout. New look but has an "Empty Sterile" nervous vibe. Overall, OK especially if you need a break from the standard fast food chains noting the prices for McDonald's and others has skyrocketed and service and over all experience has been on the decline, putting Schlotzskys well positioned for fast food. Managing my bias here as I almost never eat fast food unless there is a need such as short on time or thats all thats available. Go ahead, worth a try if you are in the market for fast food and tired of the typical places.

After reading the website of Extra Virgin Services, they described their use of extra virgin olive oil and items made from scratch. However, when I wanted to order a salad I asked about the homemade dressings. ( Of course with extra virgin olive oil as claimed) . I was told they come from Gordon's food service!!! only tzatziki sauce and chipotle mayo are homemade. Well, perhaps the corned beef hash with hollandaise sauce would be best to order. Very light amount of corned beef. The waitress was pleasant, however, she was wearing shorts which I didn't find professional. Soon 3 more waitresses arrived for duty, all wearing shorts ( one of them too short ) and my waitress proceeded to talk with them to the point that she didn't hear the cook say order up! That order was sitting there at least 2 minutes. I watched two waitresses get food to eat. One chose to eat her bagel and cheese right at the counter in front of the door !! The other got a pancake and took it behind the coffee bar. With the amount of legs & eggs establishments around the Toledo area , I was shocked to see one in P'burg! Yet, with all the unprofessionalism I witnessed at Extra Virgin Lamplighter Cafe, and for starters not even serving the very item the restaurant is named for is deceiving customers. So , if YOU are looking for a helping of non homemade salad dressings - WITHOUT extra virgin olive oil, followed by a side of skin and a splash of unprofessionalism, belly up to a table here.
