Why they could not adjust there ?" in a terribly RUDE manner, as if you are not coming for free adjustment!! I am a long-time customer here for years and he treated me like a garbage!! He ended up opening a big mouth to me saying, from next time we charge for the nose pad adjusting! Never go back there again with horrible customer service! Do not believe other posts ate saying, this guy's rude attitude represents how this store is super arrogant with very small selection of products. NOT worth visiting !

I wear invisible bifocals and purchased my first pair from the eyeglass factory 2 years ago. They…read morerecommended what I thought at the time to be very expensive lenses, because they claimed, first time bifocal users had less issues adjusting to these more costly lenses. I was suspicious that I might be being up sold. After over a year there was scratch in one lense and the Eyeglass Factory replaced my lenses under their special extended warranty. They were absolutely terrific about this and I hadn't expected this level of service. I didn't even realize that the warranty was there. My prescription changed this year and I just ordered new glasses today and the newest optician to join their staff was absolutely terrific. She very carefully explained some of the newer features and options and I'm looking forward to see how blue filter sense filters will improve or protect my vision going forward. I'm pretty much careful with my money (maybe if I had more I could be more careless) but in this case selling me on the more expensive lenses was the right thing to do. Thanks for your professionalism and great advice.

UPDATE: I WAS a customer and this is how I was treated. This is a site for reviews and you talk…read moreabout your experiences good and bad. I had ended up using my previous prescription for both pairs at your store because you had filled both of mine out incorrectly. I just wanted it filled out and over with...waiting weeks from start to end. I have not contacted you because there is no reason too. I have my glasses with my old prescription. What else can you do for me? You apologized on here and I appreciate that, but I'm not taking down my review. I hope that through my experience, that you run your business with great customer service. That the people on the floor don't make up poor excuses for your mistakes and that the owner/woman who treated me so awful the second time i came in doesn't do it again. If you make the changes you'll earn great reviews! --------------------------------------------------- Wow how disappointing this place was and the service. They really push hard to up-sell the extras. A lot of very young people running the floor. DO NOT get your eyes tested here. They were way off on my prescription. I was told to try them for a week, which I did anyway and went back. All my prescriptions were wrong. I found my previous prescription and brought it in. The girl tried to tell me that a lot of Optometrists will make your prescription stronger than you need??? REALLY? What kind of crap info is that? You're prescribed what your vision needs. I guess she was trying to make them not look so bad. I told her I wore them for a week and that I can't see properly, so how does that make my previous script wrong when I had no issues with them? Then they retested with another woman, who gave me attitude, trying to defend the other optometrist. I didn't even bitch at them about it, just wanted the right prescription. She proceeded to say how I was new to wearing glasses? I'm in my 50's and have been wearing glasses (prescribed reading glasses) since I was 27 and distance glasses since I was 44. This place reminds me of the store 3 for 1, who was taken to court and the owner fined a fortune for giving prescriptions without a certified optometrist. All their stores closed for good reason. If you want a deal on glasses that's fine, but don't risk your eye sight getting tested here, go to a proper optometrist first, then bring in your prescription. Honestly, you get what you pay for in places like this. Here is a tip to the actual owner - Treat your customers with respect. If your optometrist prescribes the wrong prescription, own it and apologize, that goes a LONG way. When you treat someone badly, you end up getting poor reviews from customers and customers are what make your business thrive.

Wow, I hopped on to write a review of my experience and noticed that I had already left a review…read moreback in 2012!! Honestly, I don't even remember that experience nor do I remember that guy. Time for an update! I've worked in this office complex for over 10 years and have walked by this place too many times to count. I had come with a coworker who was looking to get new glasses and I started to try on frames as well. The lady who helped us was patient and friendly. My friend found a pair she loved and I, well, I looked stupid in everything. *sigh* Since we work in the building, we receive a discount on frames so that's a plus! My coworker ended up getting a beautiful pair of Gucci frames that look stunning on her. After getting an updated prescription from my optometrist, I started to 'seriously' look for frames which might look good on me. I went to many stores near my home and I actually found a pair of Ray Bans that didn't look horrible on me! I went back to La Look and asked if they were able to get them as well. Not only could they get them, their prices were more competitive... even before the discount! They didn't have the actual frames in the store so they offered to order them in for me to look at. They received them within a week and they were perfect. I proceeded with the order and the glasses were ready within a few days! I am so happy with my new glasses (who saw THAT coming? ...no pun intended). All the ladies I've dealt with at the store have been really great, especially the owner (who I believe, only comes out of 'retirement' to relieve the others during vacations). They're conveniently located on the subway line at Finch Station so if you're in the area, definitely check them out. If you work in one of the two office towers, then this place is a must!

I saw the post dated 10/27/2012 and would like to share similar impression. However I would like to…read moreadd that the lady that Adele praised is the owner and she offers good customer service. She pays attention and efforts to keep repeated customers. (I think her name is Gulia). However she did not hire very good help. A man I met during a visit did not pay appropriate courtesy and care. Half way thru the conversation with him I knew I should come back and see Gulia instead. However she is not there every day. She has a fixed schedule during the week that you should check. At the beginning when the store was opened 5-6 years ago, Gulia seems not having much experience as she was new to running an optics business. To offset that she has been warm and welcome. It is from her that I found my best fit brand of contact lenses. We should promote her style of customer service, as from my experience majority of sales people nowaday seem not caring much but pushing for more money, many not caring to even pull up a smile when we enter their store. Another downside of her store is her doctor, if it is still the same tall middle-aged female doctor who examed my Mum's eyes 3 years ago. She was sad, cold, irruptive and impolite. And it seems Guila was not very receptive to my feedback on this doctor's behavior. Hope Gulia see these comments from her customers and offer some training to her staff or hire someone else.
