I paid her rent but they would not let her stay and they faked invoices so they could keep the majority of her security deposit. Even though the place was immaculate when she left. Renter beware take multiple pictures when you move in and note any damage or other stuff when you do a walk through with Heritage. The people at the rental place are lying evil dogs. I am at this process trying to bring them and their sub contractors to court. their sub contractors do not sign their work orders not do they put down exactly what they did. One contractor charged 320 dollars to fix a 4inch by 6 inch hole in wall. He didn't down anything he used or how he did it. I was able to get out of him that they wanted him to paint the inside of the house which they charged to my daughter. One contractor said they did deep cleaning even though I have pictures show the condition the house was in when she moved out, she left it immaculate toughly cleaned. It was cleaner than when she moved in, there was substantial cigarette smell and dirty walls when she moved in. Carpets stunk of cigarette smoke and were filthy, the management people left her some boxes of arm and hammer to try to get rid of the smell. They even told me they did. Another company that did blinds had two separate invoices and a work order. The first order was for 114 dollars which my daughter received and they would not tell me what the work order was about, and the second invoice that we did see was for more than 300 dollars. And no reason as to why. One contractor was supposed to do their carpet cleaning no listed chems nor what they did. I contacted another carpet cleaning company and they told me exactly what they did to clean carpets. Their subcontractor had no idea of what he was doing. My daughter steamed cleaned the carpets herself three different times before it was livable in the house. She even installed two new blinds, put shower curtain holders in the bathrooms because there were no holders when she moved in. She also replaced the racks in the oven with the correct ones that were not there to begin with. SO BE VERY WARY ABOUT RENTING FROM THEM THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF THEIR DEPOSIT. If you had dealings with them and felt that they cheated out of your deposit please contact me at r.shaputis@aol.com. I am trying to put together a class action lawsuit against them and their lying sub contractors. Their sub contractors are Sudz in the bucket, Western painting and construction, Commercial drapery & blinds, RG carpet cleaning.

During my time as a tenant, I encountered significant and concerning issues with property…read moremanagement. Unfortunately, I experienced aggressive and dishonest behavior from management, which has prompted me to share my experience. The laundry and fitness facilities were poorly maintained, and it became evident that none of the units were being brought up to code. I faced a serious safety hazard when my fuse box caught fire, and my back porch collapsed, causing injury to my pet, with no repairs ever made. Additionally, management attempted an illegal eviction, clearly retaliatory in nature, after I requested necessary repairs following my injury. My legal counsel swiftly demonstrated the illegitimacy of this action, yet they chose to terminate my lease while knowing I was awaiting critical brain surgery. Throughout my tenure, I endured verbal abuse from both management and the owner. Moreover, I witnessed alarming instances of neglect towards elderly residents, who were often left to manage severe issues on their own, rather than receiving the help they desperately needed. Communication was another significant challenge, as management refused to engage with tenants outside of their app--despite requirements under the ADA. My own health situation, involving multiple brain surgeries and the loss of a brain lobe, seemed to be disregarded. I would caution potential tenants: unless you are comfortable with a variety of issues--including pest infestations, property damage, and a hostile environment--consider other options. Even the "new additions" are by "his guys" and fall apart. The new porches without proper wood treatment is a prime example. The railing fell off so I couldn't use it the entire 11 months of worldly punishments I endured here. I will leave with this final experience because I don't have much more room. The fuse box in my unit actually caught on fire. The city had to be involved as well as code enforcement. My refrigerator with $400 of groceries was wasted and it is in the lease that you are not to be reimbursed despite who is at fault. They did reimburse for a hotel For us all to cram into for the three days that the fire department needed to shut off the entire building to replace my entire fuse box which was apparently wired wrong and spliced together. Having experienced homelessness with my child for nearly two years due to an unsafe living situation, I would choose that again over facing similar challenges. Other than this "rental agency" I have positive landlord references in my past, and am residing in a new home, while continuing to work with my legal team. I felt it was important to leave this review not out of spite, but as a warning to others considering this rental property.

I am actually shocked at the way Audrey(Manager) and Chris(her boss) treat their tenants. They left…read moreme without a functioning stove/oven for MONTHS. My dishwasher didn't work the entire time I lived there, and my unit had electrical issues to the point they had to come four times and they still couldn't fix it. They refused to do anything about the MICE in peoples apartments, my neighbor had about $10,000 in damages from them, including a mattress that they tunneled in and built a nest AND THE MICE PROBLEM IS STILL ONGOING. They refuse to do important repairs like the vinyl floor completely peeling up, and many of the units have completely rotted and splintered back patios so they're unsafe and unusable. They targeted everyone who owns dogs and issued incompletely unfounded violations to them constantly to the point where everyone moved due to the threat of eviction and some were evicted. I've always tried my best to be a model tenant and even I had probably a dozen violations. THEY HARASS THEIR RESIDENTS WITH HOUSING ASSISTANCE and I was told by another tenant that Audrey and Chris were specifically targeting everyone on housing and with dogs. I can keep going for awhile. Point is, these people are cruel and crooked and they should be shut down for what they try to pull. Oh, and if anyone rents out 860 Morton pl (my old unit) I was paying $1020 a month for rent, don't let them scam you if they decide to jack up the prices.
